Please tell me you're kidding. Right now. Waiting until September does *not* bode well with me at all; I was thinking the end of July would be a long but tolerable wait and should be expected, with mid-August as the ultimatum, but Septiembre's just too far off. On topic, I missed JAA and so didn't see the preview, but if you want a trailer there's a fan-made one on YouTube. Search "Lucario" and "Trailer".

It's true.At first the movie was going to be released in Spring 2006, but now in the fall of 2006.=(

I can't believe this! Are they crazy or something!? I've been waiting for MONTHS to see this movie, and then they go and delay it yet again!

I don't understand why they'd do that. It makes no sense to me.
What if, what if, they decided not to release it because it doesn't have the 'new VA cast' in it? They wouldn't do that to us, would they?
And also, are the movies still under Miramax? Or are they under Pokemon USA as well?

Maybe they don't want it to make all that much money because the original cast is in it. I don't think they won't release it at all, but just delay it as much as possible. PUSA does like to keep money for itself after all.Like most everyone else here, I'm upset that it keeps on being delayed. Spring made sense for a release and I could go with a middle of summer release too, but fall doesn't make any sense at all. This movie is being released under Miramax. This whole situation is confusing.

Patience, people. 4Kids is the one who dubbed the movie and they're still in the middle of getting rid of everything Pokemon related they own, including selling off the group they used for the first episodes of the dub. Either Miramax or Viz will be putting it on DVD.
Lisa, please. 4Kids doesn't give two squats about continuity, so holding off a movie because of voices isn't the reason.
Be thankful we're even getting the movies to begin with. Considering the US got the last movie EARLIER than they should have, I think it's only fair for a small delay. September release? That's only three months away. The time will fly by.

We might be able to order a copy from all the way from Australia since they are getting the movie on August 16 (If it's possible)

After hearing that the 8th movie is one of the best, it's a bit disappointing I have to wait a little longer.
Not to mention it'll be a bit of a sting to have to watch a film with the old VAs and at the same time have to get used to the new ones. But meh, whatever. Might be a little interesting.

It's just i was looking forward to the dub version since it will be the last movie 4Kids will dub, and the last time we hear the original voice actors. I was also looking forward to it since April. But it's fine if it is delayed, i'm just disappointed.

It's sorta like whats happening here.....only Pokémon is better.....and um....yeah....I'll just shut up now ^^;;

I would have thought that PUSA would want to release anything with the rights of 4Kids as early as possible before the new season and new VAs.

Really, the preview wasn't all that great, considering I've seen the movie already ^^
Basically, it showed Ash getting blown off of this crystal thing while chasing Pikachu, uh, it showed Lucario getting released from the staff, a tiny clip of Ash battling at the beginning, I think it was Kid that they showed getting sucked up by that gooey stuff, and then a scene of Maw. I don't remember to well though, seeing as I saw it quite a few weeks ago

I've seen the movie in Japanese before too,(with subtitles) but I want to also see the dub version.
Torchic23,did the characters talk or say anything at all? Or was it basically just scenes with no sound whatsoever?
