Lucario's Gender

Okay, I know that everyone's tired of seeing Lucario threads, but I think I have a good point. I'm sorry for making a new thread instead of posting in the other thread, but I think that this is a good point, and more people would actually read it this way. If mods want to close this, go ahead, but please read what I have to say first.

All right, first of all, let me make it clear that I don't take sides in the debate about Lucario's legendary status. I'm completely neutral.

Now, people say that Lucario can't be a legendary because he has a gender. I was one of the first to say this, actually, But now that I think about it, it's very possible that he has a gender and is a legendary.

The only screenshots we have seen show him as a male. We haven't seen ANY female Lucarios. Why is that? Well, Lucario is based on Anubis, who was a real Egyptian MAN, so maybe that's why Lucario is male? None of the other Legendaries are based on real life people, so they could easily make them genderless. They couldn't base a Pokemon on a real person in history and make it genderless. In fact, the only other Pokemon that are based on real people in history are the Hitmons.
Hitmonchan = Jackie Chan, Hitmonlee = Bruce Lee, Hitmontop = Capoeria (A Brazilian martial arts master. He fights in a break dacing technique. Hitmontop's Japanese name is actually Kapoera.)

They're the only Pokemon other than Lucario that are based on real people in history, and guess what, the hitmon family can only be male! That makes Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, and Lucario the only pokemon that are based on real people in history, and those people were men. If the hitmons are male, I would expect Lucario to be male also. Can this mean that Lucario might still be a legendary? I'm sorry if this point has been made before, but I haven't seen it anywhere, so...

By God I think I've stumbled unto something! *British accent*

And please correct me if I'm wrong about anything.

We haven't seen any screenshots of a male Drapion, but we've seen a female one.

Just because they only show it as male in prerelease pics, doesn't mean it is only male.

Kapoeira is a fighting style, no a karate master....

latias and latios have a gender and theree are already loads of topics like thid

Dorapion has no chance of being a legendary though, does it. I'm trying to say that Lucario having a gender and being legendary at the same time is possible, because there would be a very good reason for it to be male.

And who says Lucario is based off Anubis? Nothing about him, except maybe his wolf like appearance, even suggest that. He doesn't seem to be able to do any death attacks, and an Anubis Pokemon would probably be dark. Lucario may be a jackal, but that doesn't mean Anubis.

And, btw, Wobbuffet is based off a japanese comedian, and Jynx suppsoedly the Ice Maiden.

Wikipedia once said Bonsl rhymed with Orange.

Ehehe, someone seems to have vandalised Lucario's entry with a picture of a, uh, male organ...

I don't think that this is much of an argument. They may not have programmed all of the genders and all of the pokemon were male up to that point, except for the ones that gave examples of gender differences.

That is disgusting >.>

Anyway I might be wrong, I might be right, I just wanted to see what people think. If Lucario does end up being a legendary with a fixed male gender, it would at least make sense.

There are so many factual errors in your post I'm wondering if you like making things up or just don't bother to check. Anubis wasn't a "real Egyptian man" he was a jackal-headed god (from mythology!). Capoeira is a style of martial art, not a "Brazilian martial art master"

Even then, Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee only gain the Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee reference in the English version, there's no reference to them in Japan (where they were DESIGNED)

Your argument pretty much falls apart there.

As for Lucario himself, someone in the other post calculated his base stats from the stats and levels given and (assuming that person is right) IF Lucario is a legendary he would have to be part of the Trio, because his base stats are around 580 or lower (I wouldn't mind having an Egyptian trio, maybe with Horus as one of the other ones)

Well I did say correct me if I'm wrong about stuff. Still, Anubis is known to be a male, so it would be very stupid to make him female, and less but still stupid to make him genderless.

it seems plausible

i mean look at latios and latias theyre legendaries nad have genders

chances are that lucario is based after anubis or just a jackal

I'm pretty much positive that Lucario is based on Anubis. Anyway this is just my opinion. I just don't want people to rule out the possibility of Lucario being a legendary with a gender. There are still facts that prove otherwise, so he might or might not be a legendary.
