Lucario's Gender
Okay, I know that everyone's tired of seeing Lucario threads, but I think I have a good point. I'm sorry for making a new thread instead of posting in the other thread, but I think that this is a good point, and more people would actually read it this way. If mods want to close this, go ahead, but please read what I have to say first.
All right, first of all, let me make it clear that I don't take sides in the debate about Lucario's legendary status. I'm completely neutral.
Now, people say that Lucario can't be a legendary because he has a gender. I was one of the first to say this, actually, But now that I think about it, it's very possible that he has a gender and is a legendary.
The only screenshots we have seen show him as a male. We haven't seen ANY female Lucarios. Why is that? Well, Lucario is based on Anubis, who was a real Egyptian MAN, so maybe that's why Lucario is male? None of the other Legendaries are based on real life people, so they could easily make them genderless. They couldn't base a Pokemon on a real person in history and make it genderless. In fact, the only other Pokemon that are based on real people in history are the Hitmons.
Hitmonchan = Jackie Chan, Hitmonlee = Bruce Lee, Hitmontop = Capoeria (A Brazilian martial arts master. He fights in a break dacing technique. Hitmontop's Japanese name is actually Kapoera.)
They're the only Pokemon other than Lucario that are based on real people in history, and guess what, the hitmon family can only be male! That makes Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, and Lucario the only pokemon that are based on real people in history, and those people were men. If the hitmons are male, I would expect Lucario to be male also. Can this mean that Lucario might still be a legendary? I'm sorry if this point has been made before, but I haven't seen it anywhere, so...
By God I think I've stumbled unto something! *British accent*
And please correct me if I'm wrong about anything.
