<-- Solves any case!
you don't have to beat the orre colloseum to get the luck egg.
i got it without.
you hae to get to the colloseum and participate. i forget the further details though.

First off you only have to win the first round <Admin Lorvina> to get a call from Eagun's wife to open the lucky egg quest. It's 4 battles total. Second if your pokes aren't properly trained with good IVs and EVs you're gonna have a big problem. The computers pokes and strategies take a big jump in intelligence in Orre Colleseum. Lastly your movesets are a bit off. For general advice play to a pokes best stats when picking your moves and don't put the same type moves on 1 poke. Flamethrower + Fire Blast is overkill pick your fave and replace the other with aerial ace or rock slide. Sword dance over slash but its gonna be hard in xd so i'd suggest trading to emerald if your able.

The Orre collasseum cheats like hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your opponenets get critical hits nearly all the time, my 100% accuacey moves seem to miss and their pokemon are all faster then mine. My Salamance and Jolteon very rarley get to go first......I think theres 2 pokemon that they're faster then.

Well thats later on anyway (The Robo Groudon guy set)

I still can't do it :(

Oh?
You don't have to enter only level 60 pokemon and can use any level?
Or does their levels increase when you enter highler level pokemon?

Well anyway I have a list between 18 pokemon to use (I traded my level 60's over from Ruby)

I usally enter with the following 6. (Then narrow it down to 4 depending on the challenger)

Salamance with Focus band (Occasinally prevent faiting, which does come in handy sometimes when they use ice attacks)
1. Dragon claw
2. Fly
3. Flamer thrower
4. Hyper beam
Reason for him to be here: He's just nasty also he's uneffected by ground and since just about everyone has earthquake then thats a big plus.

Typhlosion with charcole (Upps fire moves)
1. Fire blast
2. Flame Thrower (it used to be Flame wheel but it changed itself to flame thrower when I traded him from Ruby to XD)
3. Dig (I need to change that and did think about Earthquake but would rarther give earthquake to someone with high attack)
4. Sunny day
Reason to be here: He's better than my Blaziken becuase he's not weak to flying or psychic attacks which just about everyone in the orre collosseum has, also those who do have them attacks are much faster then Blaziken meaning she dies before she does anything.

Metagross with quick claw (sometimes strikes first)
1. Meteor mash
2. Psychic
3. Shadow ball
4. Hyper beam
Reason to be here: He has psychic and ghost moves which come in handy greatly in this collosseum since theres so many psychic types. Also the steel moves come in handy.

Jolteon with magnet (powers up electric attacks)
1. Thunder wave
2. Thunderbolt
3. Thunder
4. Bite
Reason to be here: He's th only person who can take care of water and flying pokemon with ease. Also he's fast and has natually strong special attacks meaning those electric attacks of his are leathful!!!

Mighyena with Blackglasses (powers up dark attacks)
1. Bite
2. Crunch
3. Theif
4. Secret power
Reason to be here: He's immune to psychic - now thats good in this collosseum, although his attacks may not be as strong as my Houndoom but he is not weak to ground attacks (who most of my pokemon are) and the intimidate is a useful combination when paired up with salamance as well. It makes the Slaking from the second trainer (in round 3) very weak.

Feraligator with mystic water (powers up water attacks)
1. Surf
2. Hydro pump
3. Blizzard (Should replace with Ice beam since Blizzard is pathetic especially in duel battles)
4. Dragon claw
Reason to be here: I greatly under estimated the power of a Feraligator, mine is absolutly emense. He can take a hell of a beating, he deals quite an impact of damage and he's my dragon killer (as soon as I get Ice beam) I did have a Tentacruel before him but my Tentacruel's Sp.attack wasn't as high as this Feraligator also the Tentacruel is weak to ground like most of my pokemon.

Those pokemon got me through pokemon Collasseum game and now gotten me throguh the first 2 rounds of the orre colloseeum in XD (That's 8 nasty cheating trainers defeated with these pokemon)

The other 12 pokemon I have available at level 60 are as follows.

Steelix with quick claw (sometimes strikes first)
1. Earthquake
2. Dig
3. Double edge
4. Iron tail
Reason to be here: I love my Steelix, and I used him to get throguh the first 2 rounds of the orre collosseum but I've had to tempuarly switch him for my metagross. Steelix is immune to electirc and posion, he has sturdy to prevent one hit Ko's (which one trainer in the orre collosseum relys on) And in general does cause quite a problem to my opponenets (if you don't have water or fire attacks then your screwed - hes too strong to die from fighting or ground attacks as proven by surviving 4 earthquakes from a slaking)

Milotic with nevermeltice (powers up ice moves)
1. Surf
2. Hydro pump
3. Ice beam
4. Blizzard
Reason to be here: I thought she could have helped but she doesn't appear to be of any use. I'll trade her back unless you can suggest any improvments to her.

Tentacruel with mystic water (powers up water moves)
1. Surf
2. Hydro pump
3. Ice beam
4. Sludge bomb
Reason to be here: I had him throughout the whole of Ruby and he made me proud. 3 different move types come in handy and his speed is amazing but unfortunatly he is weak to ground attacks like most of my other pokemon and also his Sp.attack isn't as good as my Feraligator's.

Weezing with magnet (powers up electirc attacks)
1. Sludge
2. Sludge bomb
3. Thunder bolt
4. Thunder
Reason to be here: He has great sp.attack and I needed an electric pokemon at the time who wasn't weak to ground, so he came in nicley although he isn't actually an electric type. He has helped me alot on Ruby and in the orre collosseum he helped clear round 2 (there was one trainer in round 2 that had alot of water types that relyed on one hit kO moves) He does come in handy from time to time.

Blaziken with charcole or Blackbelt (powers up fire or fighting attacks)
1. Flame thrower
2. Fire blast
3. Brick break
4. Sky uppacut
Reason to be here: He is strong, tough and has fighting attacks but he's weak to flying and psychic attacks so I've switched him for my Typhlosion since Blaziken kept on dying before doing anything. (there's a lot of psychic attackers out there)

Scizor with scope lense (increases critical hit chance)
1. Slash
2. Steel wing
3. Double team
4. Swords dance
Reason to be here: He comes in handy alot, he's tough and when he's used double team a lot he becomes very very hard to kill, swords dance to increase attack and with slash + scope lense, he gets a critical hit quite oftern (nearly as much as the computer opponenets do natually) and they are sure to one hit KO.

Houndoom with Black glasses (powers up dark moves)
1. Bite
2. Faint attack
3. Flame thrower
4. Fire blast
Reason to be here: VERY fast and VERY powerful, he's not quite a t level 60 yet and he does have poor defense furhtur more he is weak to ground attacks (like most of my pokemon) So untill the ground is safe - I wont be using him.

Wallrein (sp) - ;365; with leftovers (gradualy restore HP)
1. Ice beam
2. Blizzard
3. Water gun (yes I know - but I've only had him on XD where you don't get HM's as I would have given him surf)
4. Rest
Reason to be here: He can take a beating, he's quite powerful but he's not quite at level 60 yet and he really only has ice attacks at the moment.

Swalot with posion barb (powers up posion moves)
1. Sludge
2. Sludge bomb
3. Shock wave
4. Toxic
Reason to be here: He's apart of my XD line up and that's it. He's not really that good - my Weezing has better stats all around and is not weak to ground attacks.

Xatu with sharb beak (powers up flying moves)
1. Arieal ace
2. Confuse ray
3. Night shade
4. Psychic
Reason to be here: He's a fast desent pokemon, and his moves come in handy also he's unefefcted by ground.

Zangoose with King's rock (sometimes causes flinching)
1. Brick break
2. Crush claw
3. Detect
4. ?? I can't think what it is now - but I never used it anyway.
Reason to be here: apart of my XD line up and is fast and strong, detect comes in handy occasinally and having a normal and fighting moves means he never struggles with anyone except ghost types.

Usraring with silk scarf (powers up normal moves)
1. Slash
2. Thrash
3. Hyper beam
4. Attract (Shes a Female)
Reason to be here: VERY strong and the attract business is great.

There all the pokemon I have ready for the orre collosseum, which ones do you think I should use and which ones do you think I should improve?
