oh.... ok but can you even breed a chansey? because its not with my chansey and ditto... its been a while since i played this game...

Depends on the number of steps. I recommend using R/S/E if you have them. Trade and the Mach Bike will make it easier for all your needs.

Another factor could be that the two do not get along well making it more difficult for an egg to be produced. I forget what it is the man says to show that it will take awhile. Anyone know for sure, I don't want to give incorrect info. In fact this may not even be a factor in the newer games, I don't see it listed anywhere.

Chanseys are all female so no matter what you breed with it.... as long as it's in the correct egg group and male... you'll get a chancey (ditto breeding included). However.... breeding does not result in held items.azumangas said:

The Lucky Egg increases experiance earned by .5 ie: you earn 1000 exp points if you have Lucky Egg equipped you earn 1,500 exp points.

No you can only get a lucky egg by catching a wild chansey, you can not aquire one from breeding.
And a lucky egg multiplies the EXP points by point 5.
And a lucky egg multiplies the EXP points by point 5.

No. The only way to get a lucky egg is to catch a shansey in the safari zone.

Well I am in the same boat, I have A Chansey and Ditto taking forever to have an egg and I was hoping to get Lucky Egg.
