You can't buy luxury balls but on 5 lsland go to the cave and battle the girl with 2 persians. Then she will go to her house and she'll tell you what pokemon she wants to see. You only get a limited amount of time so get the pokemon she wants to see and go back to her and she'll call her butler and the butler gives you 1 luxury ball. if you take a long time getting the pokemon she wants to see she'll be dissapointed with you and then she'll tell you the next pokemon she wants to see.

It will take you a long time to find Selphy. It took me 80 minutes just to find her.

The one and only.
There is a special path depending on how many rocks there are in the cave that you are in. Depending on how many rocks there are, will help you find the path to get to the next room, until you get into the room where Selphy is. Hope that this helps somewhat.

Every room has either 3,6,9, or 12 rocks in it, and every room has 4 exits. If there were 3 rocks in the room you would take the right exit. It's positioned like a clock. 3 is on the right side of the room, 6 is on the bottom, 9 on the left, and 12 on top. Did this help you?
EDIT: nevermind you just posted and you figured it out.
