Just to expand on that a bit more, if you don't mind

Macho Brace reduce's speed by about 2/3rds I believe. Also by doubling EV's if you battle a Lotad while your pokemon is wearing the macho brace, it will gain 2 Sp. Def EV's rather than the 1 it normally has.
If another pokemon (for example Minun - because it was first one that came to mind) is wearing the exp. share, it will also gain 2 Sp. Def EV's much like it gains EXP without doing anything.

Luke, almost right. If a poke has Exp. Share, they do not get the benefit of the macho brace.
