Macho Brace + Exp Share...

Hi all, I know that a pokemon holding exp share gains evs that the battler gets, so if i give my lead macho brace, will the exp sharer gain double evs?

no. people say that, since it's easier than the full explanation, but a pokemon with an EXP share gets the exact EVs that it would get if it were defeating the opposing pokemon, instead.

if you have a poke with pokerus and a macho brace, and another one without pokerus with an EXP share, the second one only gets the usual amount of EVs.

I think its only for the Pokemon wearing Macho Brace. The Exp. Share will only give the experience points.

Oh right, thanks for that. i thought the share got all evs and exp from the lead poke. oh well, looks like poli will have to wait till i can be bothered to fight 252 shuppets...

if you want, you could give it a macho brace and have it fight poochyena in the beginning of the game. they give Attack EVs, too, and they're about level 3. or, you could do some of the attack EV training, until it's leveled enough to KO zubat for speed. do the speed training, then it should be strong enough to beat shuppet.
