Magby/Elekid in red/blue??

I know you may know that there is no magby and no elekid in RBY but that doesn't mean it was never considered. I caught a wild pikachu in red and nicknamed it ELEKID. It hit lvl 25 (I think) and started to evolve. I was kind of excited... my first raichu! But it evolved into an electabuzz. I got freaked out so I turned off my game with no save and didn't play it that day. I decided to do a little research on this "glitch." Sure enough, there are empty spaces where pokemon should be on top of electabuzz and magmar. They're coded in hex numbers, not the numbers we can see. (If you want the hex list I found it here.) Well I want to know what you guys think... AND NO I DIDN'T USE ANY CHEAT DEVICES.

EDIT: I tried it again... but nothing happened this time...

P.S. MissingNo. isn't a glitch, he's actually required to make pokemon complete. The "glitch" is that you can fight him.

That's weird. It sounds like a Missingno-induced glitch, coupled with a coincidental evolution. I've heard of Missingno pkmn evolving into all sorts of Pokemon.

I do agree that it's possible that some of the baby Pokemon were considered before GS, though. Perhaps Gamefreak were toying with the idea of 100% compatibility between Generation I and II?

Yes, like their aledged safari zone in GSC. I believe the story was that they made it but once they heard about people abusing the safari zone to get to our "glitch city" they turned it down.

And well... this is a reg. pikachu from viridian forest... I don't see how it is a MissingNo. I mean... I guess the game confused the nickname with the actually name and used pieces of ingame data of elekid to evolve it.
