Hey guys! I made a lot of graphics throughout the months, and so I decided to display all of them and get some critiques. So if there’s something that looks bad/something you don’t like/etc., please let me know! I'm always trying to fix up my mistakes! Btw, I use GIMP to make my graphics. ^^

Wow! Those are pretty good. If you were to make custom banners for people, I'm sure you'd get plenty of requests!

Thanks for informing me The brushes at the bottom are cut off a little too :/ I'll try to fix it when I have time.

I personally like the splash banners the best... (In the "Old banners" section)

They had a vibrancy to it that some others lacked...

You can really see how your graphics evolve over time. :3

I especially like your "Bossun" banner, but the subtext, and the text in the corner are a little too... 'apparent' imo. Perhaps turning them to a mode like screen, or hard light, and sliding over the transparency bar might help that.

Also with your fragment banners, it seems they get cut off on the edges, all you have to do for that is to increase the canvas size right before you save the image.

Glad you like them. ^^ Though all I did was just splatter brushes all over the place and that's all. Hence the name "Splash" banners.

Thanks for all the helpful advice. I always start with a pretty small canvas for my fragment banners, so I don't have to crop them in the end, though I get cut off edges all the time.

But, seriously, these are amazing. I don't have much to say about them other than that, haha.

Sometimes less is more, try and balance your use of textures and brushes so they don't distort the focal point.

Thanks a lot! KHR is one of my favorite animes.

I like your sprite banners ^^ The BGs are cool
But pay attention to your text; placement, font, and color.
The standard font used on the Volca banner doesn't . . . . well, look right IMO.

Also, sprites don't neccessarily have to be in the middle

The font I used for the volca banner was just a regular script font that was already installed on GIMP. I thought it would look good, but I guess not. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I just started making sprite banners and I want to improve them.

Thanks a lot. It's just that the brushes on the Bossun and Himeko banner are cut off at the top. The Tsuna one was my first attempt on adding light in a banner. At the top of banner the light just stretches all the way from one end to the other, but I was just originally aiming for the top of his head only. XD
