Chapter 1: It’s a me! Mario!



The sun shone down on a beautiful urban city as a small scooter was zooming down an empty back alley. On the silver scooter, branded with a logo that read “Hotspark”, was a young plump girl of 14. She wore blue jean shorts that reached down to her knees, and had a yellow sweater on that hid an orange tee shirt under it. Her hair was dark red, and was braided in the back and reached to her back. As she turned the corner into a driveway, she came to a halt as she got off her scooter and peered in the air. She noticed a bright light that seemed to be coming closer, but then looked down again and walked into a two story red house. As she walked inside, she noticed something amiss, a humming noise coming from the kitchen, as if something was on.

“That’s strange, no one should be home.” She said as she walked into the kitchen and gasped at what she saw.

“Hello!” said a short tubby Italian man in bright red overalls over a blue shirt. He had a big nose supporting a rather funny looking mustache which was curly. He was sporting a rather funny looking cap with an “M” over it which concealed his dark brown hair. He was apparently sitting next to the Microwave, inside a bowl of soup being cooked.

“Uh….who are you?” she asked astonishingly as she took a seat in a wooden chair next to him. He chuckled as he took of his cap and held it above his head.

“The name’s Mario Mario, but please miss, call me Mario! I….am lost you see, I come from a place called the Mushroom Kingdom, and am the local hero of sorts. Recently I was protecting a young princess from an evil monster, and well next minute I’m in your kitchen making noodles!” he said with a knowing grin.

“Yeah…are you on ‘Magical Mushrooms’?” the girl asked with a frown.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about…” Mario said as he hesitated thinking for a moment.

“It’s Pauline, Mario.” The girl said firmly.

“Ah, yes Pauline, I swear my story is the truth!” he said with a innocent smile. Pauline shook her head.

“I can’t believe it, but I think you’re serious,” she said as she stood up, “okay, I guess I should call the cops and get you to a hospital”.

“Good idea, Pauline! Bowser may be here also, and we better get some help!” Mario said as he put on his cap and had a more serious expression.

“Bowser? That’s like a dog name?” Pauline noted.

“He is the ultimate enemy of the Mushroom Kingdom, leader of the ferocious Koopas, he is dangerous, and definitely not a dog.” Mario said very angrily, making Pauline back off a bit.

“Okay, well, now I might need the swat team!” she said laughing as she still thought this portly man was crazy. Suddenly a knock on the door caught Pauline’s attention as she went to see who it was. “Stay here” she said with authority. As she opened the door she saw a midget in a red tunic with a mask on, with holes around the eyes and mouth.

“Hello!” the creature said with an evil chuckle.



Mario heard a scream as he rushed to the door, noticing Pauline tied up to a fence post being carried away by the masked creature, although slowly as the small thing tried to hold up the heavy girl.

“Mama-Mia! A Shy Guy!” Mario yelled as the creature, as Shy Guy, tried to run faster. Mario easily ran in front of it and kicked it out from under the girl. The Shy Guy flew into the next yard letting out a shriek as it landed next to a rather mean looking dog, and you readers can imagine what happened next. “Are you okay?” Mario asked as he untied the stunned girl.

“Uh-huh! What was that thing?” she said as she breathed for air.

“A darn Shy Guy, minions working for Bowser!” he said as his eyes grew wide with anger.

“So, that stuff, you were serious?” she asked. Mario looked shocked.

“You didn’t believe me?” he asked with a smile.

“Well, now I do!” she cried as she stood up and gave him a hug.

“Easy Pauline, I’d say your kingdom may be in trouble.” He said seriously

“Mario, you can stop him right?” Pauline asked.

“Leave it to me! Hopefully some of my friends will find us!” he said laughing.

“Mario, would you like to stay with me?” she asked.

“That would be magnificent!” he said as he ran inside. “Oh no! I left the noodles cooking!” he yelled as he went to the kitchen.



Inside the house, Mario and Pauline were sitting at a table eating a bowl of noodles as they were talking.

“Mario, I’m glad you’ll be staying, I kinda don’t have a lot of friends and my parents…well, they’re never home.” She said with a frown.

“Pauline, that’s so sad, I mean I don’t know what I would do without my friends.” Mario said with a small tear.

“I guess you must need your friends while fighting Bowser all the time” she said smiling.

“Ahaha! You got that right!” he laughed. He then sighed. “Pauline, I must tell you, if I stay with you, Bowser might come here!” he said with a worried look.

“Mario, this Bowser guy doesn’t scare me. That minion of his was kinda cute anyway. I am a bit worried though, what if Bowser tries to take over this town?” she asked as she took a sip of soup.

“Leave it to me! It looks like this may be my new home for a while, so I’ll protect it like the Mushroom Kingdom!” he said triumphantly.

“Thanks! By the way, this is Red Town, located in the USA. So this is kind of like ‘Red Kingdom’!” She said with a grin.

“Okay, from this day on, Mario shall protect the Red Kingdom!” he said as he flexed his muscles, causing Pauline to laugh heartily.



“Lord Bowser!” said a wimpy voice as the Shy Guy from earlier walked into a dark cave; his tunic ripped up and dirty. “I found him!”

“Mwahaha! Excellent! I already have planned my conquest of this new kingdom, and I can’t wait to beat Mario!” said a big green and yellow dragon like creature. He had a long red mane between his horns with went down his back; witch was armed by a giant green shell with spikes. He was sitting in a big throne sipping from a Dr. Pepper can. “I must say this kingdom has some great things in it, all the more reason to conquer it!” he said as a young blonde in a pink dress with a crown was tied up next to the throne.

“Bowser! Wait till Mario comes!” she yelled angrily at Bowser, who simply chuckled.

“You shall be my queen, my peachy weachy, so chill out!” he yelled.

BTW, the Pauline in this is in no way related to Mario's Pauline. "Donkey Kong" is not in my fics cannon.

Expect too see alot more Mario Characters in future chapters.

Very funny. I loved the line about the "Magical Mushrooms." Shy Guys are cute, with the weird noises they make and all.

The one thing though.....I wouldn't have used the name Pauline unless it was THE Pauline. But that's just me.

Chapter 2: Koopa Invasion Begins!

Mario and Pauline were sitting on a brown leather couch in the living room of Pauline’s house, watching a plasma screen TV on the wall flicker with a television program. Pauline had a big bowl of chocolate ice cream and was stuffing it in her mouth.

“Pauline, what is this show we are watching?” Mario asked her as she continued to stuff herself with the ice cream.

“This is a television program called ‘House’; it’s a soap opera of sorts, which means you have to watch the episodes in order to get the whole story, their kind of boring if you ask me.” She said between gobbles of ice cream. Mario watched the TV a bit more before getting up.

“Pauline, I don’t mean to interrupt your eating, but I think we should look around town for my friends!” Mario said as he slipped on his hat. Pauline blushed a little as she finished her ice cream and stood up.

“Sorry, I have a little eating problem.” She said as she pointed to her stomach, “I guess I’m pretty fat.” She said with a sigh.

“Heh! Pauline, you look okay to me!” he said with a laugh. Pauline smiled as she walked outside with Mario in tow. As they got outside, Pauline got on her scooter and Mario sat behind her and grabbed on to her.

“Okay, if anyone asks, you’re my uncle. People will freak out if you say your from another world.” She said with a smile. It was true, even she had trouble believing his story at first, and she still had some doubts. The two drove off down a road past many shops.

“Whoa! Look at all the shops!” Mario said with a smile as they drove on. The Mushroom Kingdom was nothing like this!



Meanwhile, Bowser was standing on a hill overlooking the city with a small entrance to a cave behind him. He smiled as he peered at the city and all the people walking around down below.

“Bowser, I suggest we send some scouts to look around!” said a small turtle like creature in a purple cloak. She had a crackly voice and had big-rimmed glasses on.

“Ah, Kammy, you may be right!” Bowser said with a grin as he turned around and roared. Three bipedal turtles with green shells and tennis shoes emerged from the cave immediately.

“You called?” one of them asked.

“You three Koopas will investigate the town, look at stuff, take pictures, and also pick me up some more of that ‘soda’!” Bowser said with a grin. Kammy looked at him and chuckled slyly.

“Soda, your grumpiness?” she asked as Bowser blushed.

“Ah…yes! I have found that they can be harnessed as ‘weapons’ if used correctly!” he said with a triumphant grin.

“Amazing! The great mind of Bowser never ceases to amaze! It is such a fitting mind for such a great ruler! Power and intelligence, and deadly combination!” said one of the Koopas as they began to run down the hill.

“Such great youngsters these days, brings a tear to me eye.” Bowser said sobbing.



Meanwhile, Pauline and Mario had rounded the town once and had yet to see any of Mario’s friends.

“Boy, I’m tired!” said Pauline sweating as she came to a stop in a small park. Their were some small children playing on a swing set, giggling as they flew in the air.

“We should take a break!” Mario said as the two sat on a park bench and watched the little kids.

“I’m hungry!” Pauline sleepily said as she rubbed her belly.

“Ah Pauline, I have some mushrooms in my pocket!” said Mario smiling as Pauline looked at him.

“Mushrooms huh? Well I guess one would be okay. They’re not poisonous, are they?” she asked as Mario reached in his pocket and pulled out a red-dotted one with eyes.

“It has eyes!” she said as Mario stared at her.

“I eat these all the times, they’re good for you!” he said with a smile. Pauline took it and ate it at once. All of a sudden her belly started to rumble, and she began to shake.

“Mario!” she yelled as she grew and grew until she was ten feet tall. The bench snapped under her increased weight and the two fell to the ground.

“Don’t worry, our Mushrooms make you grow? Don’t yours do as well? Of course, I think that it might be different on you humans because when I eat one I only grow a foot taller.

“Mario! I can’t be a giant freak for my life!” she said as tears swelled in her eyes, “Kids already tease me because of my weight!” she said as she began to cry.

“Don’t worry, it wears off in ten minutes!” he said with a grin as he patted her on her large back.

“Mario!” said a voice as the three Koopas sent by Bowser jumped down in front of the two.

“Koopas! Pauline, stay back!” Mario said as Pauline stood behind him looking scared. The Koopas laughed as one of them laid down a eight pack of soda on a bench nearby.

“Don’t want the weapons getting messed up!” he said thoughtfully as he ran back to the other Koopas.

“Weapons?” Pauline asked as she stared down at the turtle like creature.

“I’ll stop you from hurting Pauline!” Mario yelled as he ran at the three Koopas and did a impressive summersault. He landed behind them, and stuck his hand into the ground, as he smiled.

“What the?” one of the Koopas said as Mario used his hand to swing his foot around, knocking one of the Koopas into the others. They flew into their shell and slid back into a tree.

“Mario, let me take care of these guys!” Pauline said as she ran at the Koopas, her giant size shaking the earth. She jumped with great force, and sat on the three Koopas with seismic force.

“GWAAAAH!” the three yelled as they coughed. Pauline got up as she suddenly shrunk back to normal.

“Mama Mia! Nice one!” Mario said giving a thumbs up to Pauline as she blushed.

“I may as well put my weight to good use!” she said with a grin. The Koopas quickly ran off, crying as they turned around.

“We still got one up on you Mario, so don’t get cocky!” they said as they disappeared quickly.



“YOU FAILED! And forgot the soda, great!” said Bowser angrily as the three Koopas bowed in front of his throne.

“Sir, Mario was there! And this huge fat girl who sat on us!” said one of the Koopas crying. Bowser looked at them with amazement.

“A girl sat on you? What the heck kind of lie is that!” he said with a growl as he pushed a button on his throne and a small ghost emerged. She was wearing a pink ninja outfit, and her body was completely transparent.

“Hun’, what do you want! I was doing my hair!” she said as she chewed on some gum.

“WATCH YOUR TOUNGE IN FRONT OF BOWSER!” said Kammy angrily, as she pointed her wand at the ghost.

“Kammy, chill! Anyway, the reason I called you here Booanko, is I want you to spy on Mario. Don’t get in a confrontation if possible!” he said as he spoke to the ghost.

“Got it! Get it! Going it!” she said as she faded out.

“I want to see if ‘this’ girl is a tough as you say!” Bowser said as he looked at the Koopas.



Mario and Pauline had reached home, and were walking in as the streetlights began to turn on around the city as dusk fell.

“Mario my boy!” said a voice as a small man with a head like a mushroom with purple spots walked out. He was dressed in a fancy brown suit, and supported his small body with a cane.

“Toadsworth!” Mario said with a grin as two other mushroom like people walked out, one with red dots and a blue vest, the other with pink spots and pony tails sporting a pretty pink dress.

“And Toad and Toadette are here also!” said Toadsworth as he gave Mario a hearty hug.

“Who are you?” said the pink mushroom person, Toadette, as she looked up at Pauline.

“This is my new friend! Pauline!” said Mario as he looked at Pauline, “and the older man is Toadsworth, the chancellor of the Mushroom Kingdom!”

“I’m Toad, one of the Princesses’ servants, and my friend here is Toadette!” he said happily jumping up and down.

“I guess we found some of your friends!” Pauline said as Toadsworth began to frown.

“Mario, I also regret to inform you, after you disappeared, Bowser came and took Peach!” Toadsworth said as he looked at the ground.

“Mama Mia! Bowser is here too!” said Mario with a yell as Toad began to get excited.

“That’s means Peach must be here too!” said Toad as he jumped frantically.

“What’s the big deal over a peach?” Pauline asked.

“Peach is the princess!” Mario said quickly. Pauline gasped. Toadsworth began to pace back and forth thinking.

“Well, Bowser probably won’t harm her, so we should bide our time here for a while until we can find some more of our friends.” Toadsworth said firmly. Pauline smiled.

“You guys can live with me then!” she said as the three mushroom people looked at her.

“Thank you Pauline!” said Toadette with a big smile.

“Okay Bowser, you better get ready for me, because I’ll rescue the Princess soon!” he yelled as he punched the air.

“Quite a family.” Said Booanko as she watched from a nearby tree, grinning.

That part with the Shy guy and the dog was funny, but why didn't Mario just make turtle soup out of the Koopas?

And making soup out of koopas is kinda violent. Mario is lighthearted (Although expect some darker moments when [SPOIL]Smithy comes alot later[/SPOIL]

Chapter 3: Invasion of Privacy!



“TOAD!” yelled Pauline up a flight of stairs as Toad popped his head out from a corner, sweating nervously.

“Yes?” he asked with a rising voice, as he seemed to already predict what was wrong.

“Did you spill something in the kitchen?” Pauline asked with a frown as Toad walked down the stairs, shaking as he held the railing with his small hand. When he reached the bottom, he dove in front of Pauline with his hands over his head in fear.

“Please don’t hurt me mam!” he begged as he began to cry. Pauline couldn’t stay mad at the cute little guy, so she smiled and picked him up and carried him to the kitchen. “My gosh are you going to kill me!” he covered his eyes as he began to think of the ways Pauline could punish him.

“Clean it up, and were even!” Pauline said as she sat Toad down in the kitchen, which was covered in peanut butter.

“Yes mam! I’ll be more careful next time I attempt to make a PB and J for Toadsworth!” he said as he took a rag from the sink and began to move it back and forth on the floor, cleaning the mess up. A small ring sounded as Pauline went to the front door to see who had rung the bell. As she opened the door she remembered what had happened the previous day when the Shy Guy had abducted her.

“You won’t get me this time!” Pauline said as she leaped out the door and landed on a tall and skinny man. He appeared to be wearing Mario’s wardrobe, except he had a green shirt on, and his cap had an “L” in place of an “M”. The man was out conscious as Pauline got off of him and realized this might be a friend of Mario.

“What is that racket!” yelled Toadsworth as he and Mario walked outside, Mario jumped in shock as he saw the man on the ground. He ran over to him and hit him on the face to wake him up.

“Mario!” said the man as he came to his senses; he then rubbed where Mario had hit him in pain.

“Luigi! How are you!” said Mario as he helped the man to his feet.



A while later, the four were seated around a wooden table, Pauline having a big bowl of cereal while Luigi was holding a ice pack on his face where Mario had hit him.

“Sorry about that Luigi, I thought you might have been a Bowser minion or something!” Pauline said as Luigi smiled.

“It happens all the time!” Luigi said with a hearty laugh, as Pauline was somewhat astonished by that fact.

“My little brother Luigi is always, how would you say, second fiddle?” Mario said with a small grin. Toad and Toadette entered the room carrying sandwiches for everyone, when the two looked at Luigi.

“Who is that?” Toadette asked as she handed the sandwich to Mario and Toadsworth. Toad giggled a little as Toadette then glanced again, “Luigi! I’m so sorry I forgot who you were for a second!” she said apologetically.

“What a loser!” mumbled Booanko, the ninja spy who was currently hiding in an air vent above everyone.

“Did someone say something?” Luigi asked as he looked up into the air vent and saw Booanko, which prompted him to scream, “Ghost!”

“What?” said Pauline as everyone looked up, just as Booanko had moved out of sight.

“That was too close for comfort!” she sighed as she flew down the vent, huffing heavily with shock.

“Luigi, did you get hit too hard?” Toadsworth asked as he stared at Luigi with a suspicious look.

“No, it was just my imagination!” Luigi said as he waved his arms in front of his face, however in his mind he was thinking the opposite.



“So, Luigi has come too? And you saw that girl the Koopas were talking about?” Bowser said with an evil grin upon his throne, as Booanko floated in front of him chewing loudly on gum.

“I suggest we ‘invite’ them over now? For like a party!” said Kammy laughing.

“Party? Oh, you meant party, as in a trap!” said Bowser laughing as Kammy sighed while he wasn’t looking. Bowser got up, took a deep breath, and yelled for “Monty Mole!” he roared as a brown mole popped out in front of him, he had a small shovel and was decked out in shades, most likely to protect his eyes from the sun.

“Yes boss, what do you desire?” he said with a sly grin. Bowser looked down at him, and pointed a finger his way.

“Go invite the brothers to our base! I have a trap laid for them!” he said as Monty Mole saluted him with a small claw.

“Roger boss!” he said as he burrowed underground, tunneling his way out of the cave.

“Ready the Renzors!” Bowser said as Kammy flew off into a big red arch, waves of heat could be seen coming out of it slowly, a precursor to the deadly fiends that lay dormant inside.



“An invite?” Mario said as he stood in front of Monty Mole who had just popped out of the front yard.

“Yes! My boss would like to see you! Theirs gonna be girl’s there! Namely, Princess Peach!” he said as Mario’s eyes lit up.

“Luigi, come on!” said Mario as Luigi ran up next to him, the others behind him as well.

“Be careful you too!” Toadsworth said, as Pauline walked up to Mario and put her fist up to her chest.

“I’m coming, I want to help you!” she said as Mario was somewhat taken aback at the broad statement.

“It’s too dangerous!” he said, but Pauline shook her head.

“I want too help! Please?” she said with sincerity, Monty Mole looked at her and grinned.

“Come on Mario! Let her go!” said Monty Mole, Luigi nodded as well, and shocking Monty.

“Yeah! Let her go!” he added. Mario shook his head, and sighed.

“Fine! You can come.” He said as Luigi clapped with glee. Pauline thanked Mario, and the three jumped down into Monty Mole’s hole and followed him. As the three followed the subterranean creature, Mario noticed that some more Monty Moles were following them and filling in the tunnel.

“Excuse them, we need to keep the entrance a secret, you know kind of as a safety measure!” Monty Mole explained as he crawled ahead. Mario eyed him with some suspicion, but continued on anyway, as this is his only lead to Peach. Finally he spotted some light and Monty Mole disappeared out of the tunnel, and into a square metal room. Mario got out of the hole, as Luigi came out as well sweating. Pauline was emerging when she became logged in the exit due to her rather large tummy.

“I’m too big!” she said crying as Mario and Luigi gasped.

“Sorry, but she stays behind!” Monty said as he threw his shovel at a lever, opening a trap door under the brother’s feet. They plummeted as Pauline watched in horror as her two friends disappeared.

“As for you, my dear, Bowser wants to meet you!” Monty Mole said with a grin as some Shy Guys popped in from holes in the ceiling.



“Luigi, wake up!” said Mario as he shoved Luigi off of on top of him, Luigi rolled over and awoke.

“That dirty mole!” Luigi said angrily. The pair were in a room with lava flowing on the ground, barely suspended over it by a metal floor. On the other side was a big green pipe, guarded by two Koopas wearing helmets, armed with black mallets.

“We are!” one of the Koopas said, in a deep voice, as he was bigger.

“The Hammer Brothers!” said the other one in a higher voice. The two then did impressive thumbs up and put on a big grin.

“Mario and friend! Welcome to Bowser Park, the ultimate test of your mettle!” said Kammy as she flew over their heads on a broom. She was talking through a microphone which magnified her voice to echo around the room.

“The what?” Luigi asked, but Kammy didn’t respond.

“The what?” Mario said, as Kammy began to chuckle. Luigi stomped his foot at being ignored by the witch.

“Bowser Park, a four level obstacle course! If you complete all the rooms, you get the princess! Or at least get to fight Bowser for the princess!” Kammy said as she flew overhead of the Hammer Brothers. “These two guys are your first challenge! You must defeat them, however, there is a twist!” she said as she pulled out her wand and shot it at the Marios. The two gasped as handcuffs tied them together; the Hammer Brothers were handcuffed together as well.

“We are handcuffed” said the older Hammer Brother.

“Together and must fight this way!” finished the younger Hammer Brother.

“This is gonna be tough Luigi, but we must do it! Peach and Pauline are in trouble!” Mario said as Luigi was cowardly shaking.

“Fight!” Kammy yelled as she flew out of the room.



Meanwhile, Pauline was in a small pink room tied to a chair seated at a fine wood table. Their were three other chairs arranged around the table, with plates and silverware at each. On the plates were nice, big, juicy steaks. In one of the chairs was a women wearing a pink dress with long blonde hair and a crown, she was tied up as well. And in the other chair, their was Bowser smiling nicely.

“Hello Pauline, so glad you could come by!” Bowser said as a shy guy came and sat in the empty chair, holding a knife near Pauline.

“Bowser, don’t you hurt her!” yelled the other women, as Bowser put a finger up to hush her.

“Dear Peach, I am merely treating my guest to some of this delightful steak, I can tell she has a healthy appetite.” He said looking at Pauline with an evil grin as the Shy Guy began to cut her meat for her and feed her. Pauline swallowed the steak heavily, and let out a burp.

“Excuse me.” She said blushing as Bowser giggled.

“Have you met Peach yet, she is my future wife and all!” he said to Pauline as Peach began to squirm.

“I am NOT!” she yelled as Pauline angrily looked at Bowser.

“Let us go!” Pauline yelled angrily. Bowser stood up and walked through a small door.

“You two wait here, I need to go check something!” he said as he left.

“So, you’re the Princess?” Pauline asked as Peach smiled at her.

“I am. Who are you?” she asked with a polite smile as Pauline began to explain how she had met Mario,

“I see…oh dear, quite a story!” she said daintily after Pauline had finished.



“Die Brothers!” the Hammer Brothers yelled as they jumped at Mario and Luigi, the two Marios tried to run, but Mario was running left and Luigi right. The two flew back into each other and the Hammer Brothers hit them hard on the head.

“Time to use some Mario ingenuity!” Luigi said as the two stood up and kicked the Hammer Brothers back. The two dropped their hammers, and Mario quickly threw Luigi at the older Hammer Brother, knocking him into the younger one.

“Ouch!” said the older one.

“That hurt!” the younger one added.

“This is nothing!” said Luigi as he began to spin Mario around and around, Mario extended his fists and swirled at the Hammer Brothers.

“ML! TORNADO!” the two yelled as they slammed the Hammer Brothers, blasting them through the roof of the ceiling. The two Hammer Brothers disappeared from sight, and Kammy flew down from the air.

“You pass! Proceed through the pipe!” said Kammy a bit sarcastically. Mario and Luigi grinned as the handcuffs turned to dust. The two ran and jumped headfirst into the pipe.

“Kammy, come in!” Bowser said through a receiver on Kammy’s ear. She began to speak to him in a mad tone.

“The brothers are on their way to the next room, sorry sir!” she said.

“Darn! Hey, I need something to talk about, the princess and the girl are kinda getting bored of me?” he said hesitantly. Kammy sighed as she flew to the next room.

“Just talk about your plans for the future, okay? I need to prepare the next challenge, TTYL!” she responded as she cut off the communication line.

“TTYL?” Bowser said as he sat in his personal bed room, complete with a huge bed with spikes on the end. He then giggled happily as he went back to the girl’s room.



“Um, we lost badly to” the older Hammer Brother said as him and the younger one were stuck on the top of a building in the city.

“The Marios!” the younger one said as he peered down at the street below. A small man wearing glasses and a lab coat was carrying a briefcase as he went into a building, closing the door behind him after making sure no one was looking. The man laughed as he closed the blinds of the building, opening his briefcase up to reveal a odd yellow box.

“Time to start experimenting!” he said with an evil grin as his glasses shone bright in the moonlight filtering through the blinds. Another figure, resembling a dragon like creature was standing in the corner gobbling down a piece of food as it watched the man begin to open the box.
