sorry, but we already know Gengar vs Electrode is happeningto be honest i'm kind of tired of Pikachu beating it's evolution, sure we haven't see this match up since sinnoh but still.
this is what I kind of want to happen, but I don't care if i'm wrong.
Pikachu vs Raichu: Pikachu puts Raichu on the defensive, it either uses Volt Switch or gets withdrawn (After all who's to say these battles are contested under gym format rules)
Pikachu vs Electrode: Pikachu either barely wins or Electrode kamikaze's and takes them both out
Pikachu vs Raichu: if Pikachu is still up, it isn't for long.
Gengar vs Raichu: Gengar wins.
sorry, but we already know Gengar vs Electrode is happening

I hope that these battles wont be generalized and will be unique. Like i get that this is a standardized battle but in furute i hope we get unique battles like maybe a sky battle where he could use a few bird pokemon of his etc etc.

Yeah, Ash really needs to use his own Rotom Phone. It's so underused compared to TRio's or Gou's.Ash is looking for a nearby opponent in Vermillion City right? I hope they do this whenever they visit another region as well. Maybe make it a two episode thing. First they do whatever Sakuragi wants them to do and Go catches Pokémon as well. Then Ash uses his Rotom Phone to search for WC opponents.
We were discussing his first 2 vs. 2 in PM2019 specifically. And from the looks of it it is a standard 2 vs. 2 instead of a double battleHis first 2 on 2 was in Orange Islands

I think there's a fair chance that he could manage to win without losing either Pokemon. It's not hard to envision Pikachu beating Raichu, and then Satoshi switching to Gangar to beat Marumine given that he seems more consistent as a battler in this series.
