Mario Golf+Pokemon=?

After re-hooking up my N64 and going on a Mario Golf binge, I wondered..."How could I make a fic about playing golf work in the Pokemon world?"

My course is loosely based on Toad Highlands (Mario Golf N64 Course 1), which means not too easy but not too hard, untill you factor the Pokemon into the equation: i.e. Trapinches in the sand traps, bonking Pikachus with the ball, etc.

So, write it, or shelve it?

Pokemon....playing golf? Describing....the game of golf??? To be honest, it seems a bit boring to me. But I'm guessing you'd be able to pull it off better than what I'm picturing. Seriously though, I think this fic should be shelved for now, unless you can make it completely and totally rad! Right now, work on your current fics and stop getting ideas XD Speakign of idea, this should go in the ideas thread

This reminds me of my idea of novelizing Mario Tennis for both portables.

Oh, I'm supposed to be on-topic? Okay.

If you can make golf interesting (like using the Pokémon's abilities to help on the game), I don't see why not.
