Mario Kart DS tourney?

Anybody think we should hold one? Have a 16-32 man tourney (depending on how many people sign up) or something?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, and I've been in other tournies on other boards that work out well. We probably can't do prizes or anything, I think it's against the rules to give out personal info on this board.

Anyhow, what does everyone think? We could have preselected courses for each round, have a photoshopped bracket, etc.

Bragging rights would be more than enough of a prize for most of us (or someone could make a little trophy image for your sig, most people like those), I'd be totally up for this :) If you're interested put your name here and the sort of time/day you'll be available so we can see who it would be fair to put you up against (it'll be no challenge say if in ProtoMan's time zone he's just had his lunch and is all awake, meanwhile I'm half drunk and asleep at 4am :)).

Sorry, dude, I've just totally stole your topic here, I get excited over wi-fi goodness :) But yeah, let's see who's interested before we get ahead of ourselves.

Exactly, I figured that since this board only has one page, that we should take it step by step. We find people who are interested, and have them post here, and then have a sign up topic, and then finally a bracket topic.

People can advertise it in their sigs too if they want, which I might do myself.

Edit: Okay, I got Wi-Fi thanks to my wireless router. :)

Mario Kart tournement eh? Now that sounds like a good idea. Chances are I'll be completly annialated, but it'll still be fun. As long as I can get on when you schedule it, which hopefully won't be to much of a problem since for the most part the times I'll be out is when most everyone else will be out, count me in!

Yeah, I'm definately in! I'll whoop yall! I'm avalible after my school day (3:30 Central Time) and just about anytime except for tommorrow and Jan. 1st.
