i don't know if there is already a thread for mario kart ds but seeing as i can't find one, lets make a new one.

here we talk about mario kart or anything related to kart racing,
feel free to post records, timetrials, grandprix records and friend codes.

talk about favourite charcters (vote) or even tell us your favourite vehicle. i want to know what you feel about mario kart.

one more thing. i couldn't fit daisy or ROB in the poll so sorry about that, i can only have ten characters.

to start this thread of, i usually challenge my self by playing single player vs, 32 races (random or in order) and see how many points i can get. (it's even more fun when you team up (red team vs blue team as you get more points) my record was once around 500 to 600 points and i am allways trying to beat it.

I like Bowser the best. Especially with the banisher. IMO, he looks the coolest, and is the best

i know POKErUsAm voted for bowser but oh well.

even though i voted for dry bones, i prefer luigi for timetrials and grand prix mode. i only use dry bones over wi fi and when i'm messing about.

has any body had any glitches with blue shells yet!
i have; a red shell hit me just a the blue one did, and i didn't flip up into the sky, it just did the graphics for the red shell hitting me, wierd huh.

anything else like this happen to you, please tell.
also tell us your amazing stories like how you were pelted with shells, sliped on banana skins etc... and still came first.

I prefer Dry Bones or Luigi overall, though I haven't played the game in months, I might need to get up to date and play online some time with people. XD

i can only snake on streights and long bends but i can do some snakeing in narrow parts of courses, but it's hard.
power slide on every bend, that what i do. i try and do two powers slides around each bend if possible, but thats really hard.

anyway. it has taken me a week to beat my ghost, on delfino plaza and also cheep cheep beach. i beat cheep cheep beach's ghost by 2 seconds, sweet.

these are my ghosts i did with rob about a year ago. i nopw use luigi for everything. and drybones on a few like yoshi circuit and sky gardens.

and i have a lonely character. yoshi. he has his own invincible ghost on frape snowland, where his ghost his over ten seconds faster than the staff ghost. a world record for me.

i want to here your timetrial storys and such.

Well, I have not.
In MKDS my fave character is Daisy. Peach is second and Toad is third.
My best achievements so far are winning the Figure-8 Circuit's Staff ghost by over 11 seconds and beating every Grand Prix in every difficulty with at least two stars ranking.

wow! thats fast

i have a three star rating on every mode and cup and i occasionly get the time arrased when i mess about as the time is actually faster!

oh and when i mentioned i beat the cheep cheeps ghost by two seconds, that was the ghost of my charcter, luigi. the actual time is around 5-6 second's faster.

i have always liked light weights, and anything with high or decent acceleration.

Acceleration is the easy way to win if your snaking.

also waluigi isn't voted for (well i don't like him that much to tell the truth)

i was thinking, if i had put ROB instead of waluigi people would vote loads on him, but you can't change votes, so oh well.
