Almost everyine knows there are rip-offs of Mario Kart, Mario Party, & Super Smash Bros. But, does anyone know how many rip-offs of each are there?

No, how can we know they are really rip offs? Theres not an ifinity of ideas out there. Mini-game game, not exactly hard to think of. Franchize rumble, not hard either. Mario Kart?... A little more clever(of course I'd say that). But I know Crash Nitro Kart is a rip off. Don't know any more.

There's some Konami game that ripped off Super Smash Bros. It was a 1 to 4 player, sidescrolling fighter, and had a bunch of Konami characters in it as well as characters from shows that Konami had a license to use them in games.

Not really, funny how Digimon came out.. what, a year after Pokemon blew up. So, Pokemon coping Digimon is kinda unthinkable. And I wasn't 'dissing', it's true. Digimon completly riped Pokemon.

Like how Dule Masters is rip-off of Yu-Gi-Oh. Most of the time, ripoffs are way worst than the orignals. Apart from the Crash Tag-team racing game, I can't think of anything.

Neither one copied each other in the beginning. Digimon started as a Tamagotchi-like game. Pokemon was an RPG that focuses on collecting creatures. Notice the difference?

Before you say anything about Pokemon/Digimon ripping eachother off, get your facts straight.

Back on topic, The only game I can think of right off the back is Crash Tag Team Racing. Questionable ones are Veiwtiful Joe:Red Hot Battle and Shonen Jump Superstars. Other than that, Nothing.

Jeeze, way to get on my case for saying that. I'm not exactly up on my Digimon. All I see is Digimon coming out right when Pokemon is getting popular. What is Tamaqutchi? :s. Sorry for my, I guess false acusations(sp?).

Digimon came out before Pokemon anyway (they both initially started in Japan, and Digimon launched the game AND anime series first), so Mecca...you're just wrong on pretty much all accounts. Sorry :/

I think by 'rip-off' you mean 'clone', which is basically a game made by another developer bearing suspicious similarities to another, already released game. Like the Crash Kart games are basically clones of the Mario Kart games. Super Smash clones are easy to spot, too, since Super Smash pretty much invented the 'four player fighter' game. Off the top of my head, I can't tell you how many clones of each Mario spin-off there have been.

I do when People don't know what the hell they're talking about. >_>

Anyways, I thought of another semi clone: Diddy Kong Racing. Anyone remember that? There was some Originality in there, (I especially liked divebombing my friends in the plane. XD), but It felt like Mario Kart to me. =/
