personally i liked how Infinity wars ended. its was nice and clean. they dont make enough movies where the bad guy wins...
as far as the spider verso goes, im not a fan of the current actor but i do like the Venom movie and hope they let carnage in.
Infinity War was Thanos' movie - as per the Russo Brothers. Between Infinity War and Endgame, I much prefer rewatching Infinity War. It's such a thrill from beginning to end and the great appeal of Endgame has worn off on me. We know how they fixed it, the despair that's overdone at the beginning is a bog to get through, the solution feels dumb during rewatch 2 and that feeling gets worse as you rewatch it multiple times (I basically have to turn my brain off completely during the Banner-scenes), the time-heist feels okay and the battle is obviously still good, but you know how it ends so even that 'shock' is not that big of a moment. The fight in space with Thanos (IronMan, Starlord, DrStrange, Spiderman, etc) has unlimited rewatch value - as Chris Pratt nailed that moment and EVERY TIME I wish he wouldn't do what he does. The emotions that I feel never change. It doesn't hurt that the Wakanda Battle with Thor's entry is pretty epic as well.
Everything is good apart from Riri, her character shouldn't be adapted. Just do a timeskip and make Ironheart Tony's daughter, an actual interesting character. Unlike Miles and Kamala, her character is extremely flawed and not in the good way... I'm gonna cancel during that month, her character is the absolute worse
Hyped for Spider-Man 3, it'd be cool if they wrap up the previous Spider-Men's stories since they didn't really get proper endings on account of Sony being stupid. The Tobey Spider-Man and MJ should have a kid for instance, Andrew Garfield's gets Gwen back and actually gets a happy ending instead of ending on a doomy note...
And Daredevil, really hope they announce a continuation soon.
It's nice that they're being respectful and not recasting T'challa. I'm curious how they'll handle the character's death in universe though, offscreen? BP 2 villain killed him?
And to nobody's surprise, the Thor villain is Gorr. Kinda obvious, still hoping they get Beta Ray Bill in. He's pretty much the most demanded character atm and would be a good contender to fill a slot in Guardians if somebody leaves the team/contract ends
Nothing personal, but I really dislike it when people just start slamming a project for an apparent reason they feel strongly about - but don't give any actual examples aside from 'extremely flawed' (because so was Tony (alcoholic) and look how he turned out). I'm not well versed in Riri's story, so could you tell me which parts of her character are so deplorable? I get that having Tony's daughter fill the role would've been awesome, but it's apparently not in the cards (nor does it feel necessary for me personally - just like how Cliff's daughter isn't going to be the Kate Bishop character - even when we saw her practice with the bow and arrow.
Amazingly hyped for Spiderman 3 as well. I'm guessing Homelands could be the subtitle. GarfieldSpiderMan would need to get Gwen back from another universe though.. Since I'm pretty sure they'll keep the Gwen from his universe as dead as she was. I heard reports that the NetflixDareDevil is going to represent HollandSpiderman in the movie. I'm fully expecting the story to still revolve around MCU-Peter, so I'm pretty sure we won't delve into the other storylines all to deeply. Tobey's could say that he's still an active Avenger, but has slowed down since getting a kid (which is fine, it's the Hawkeye-scenario). However Andrew's storyline wasn't even close to being resolved, so the way they reference it is either going to be superficial or a real deepcut to the Amazing Spiderman 3 script that was never used.
The villain of Thor Four is Gorr. Say that 10 times fast.. xD Fun fact, his powers stem from the oldest Symbiote (the All Black). So there's a potential link to the SonyVerse there.
What I've read is that they're going to explore Wakanda a bit more in BP2. I'm in the camp that's voting Shuri to fill in the void, but Mbaku will certainly have a big role to play (especially if the 'they're going to explore Wakanda' means anything). The big thing they can do is showcase T'challa as a panther in the Spirit World, no lines, but it could be a truly emotional moment without having to hologram anything in.
I was really hyped for Ms. Marvel but then some of the casting news has soured it for me. Idk how much of it is confirmed but if they did cast some of these people, it's about to be a mess up in here.
Same question I asked ZoruaGible: what do you mean specifically - and if the casting is so deplorable, why is that?
It feels as if I'm perhaps overstepping a boundary, but I mean I don't think that's too unreasonable to ask? I could say that the casting for She-Hulk is a trainwreck and that it might cause for several critical issues down the line - but if I don't specify what then everybody is just left guessing.
And no, there's nothing wrong with the She-Hulk casting of which I'm aware.
I had a thought regarding the Fantastic Four film that's in development. Should they use Doctor Doom as the main villian again for just one film or should they build him up as the next big threat like Thanos over several movies?
Personally I'd prefer they use a different villian in their debut film. Give us something different compared to the previous three films.
They should definitely NOT use Doctor Doom just yet. That's the trope both previous franchises fell into.
