Masquerain (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Frustration
- Shadow Ball
- Silver Wind
I recently have been just utterly screwing around on NB, and I ended up with this creature here. I'm probably just insane to use this thing. I know physical Masquerain isn't the usual one and I know that he's NU, I just.. With the ATK EVs and the Adamant Nature, he's up to 240 Atk, and with CB it may as well be 360. Which is pretty good for poor little Masquerain. He's actually been doing decently for me, I managed to take out a Gardevoir and a Zangoose with him the other day, which is better than I expected for sure. I have no clue how it worked out with the Zangoose, but I guess when the person first left their Gardy in, they either figured it was special Masquerain and had no Silver Wind or had never seen anyone seriously use a Masquerain and were too busy laughing themselves into a coma over it. Anyway, I was just wondering if a special Masquerain really would work better, at least in UU. And maybe some set suggestions or.. other helpful-type stuff.
