Is there any way to make the trainers want to battle you more often?

If you have a pokemon with Lightningrod in the first spot, you will get calls more often.

I don't believe this actually makes trainers want to battle you more, though. Just try battling the Elite 4 and doing Frontier challenges until you see more Wally battles and Match Calls.

Usually every time I turn the game on and i'm outside (in the game) the match call rings. There are like 86 people on match call right?

there are 84 people, but it makes no difference if they call you or not. It is just so arrg.

if your first pokemon has lightning rod people will call more offen

sometimes they dont have to call for a rematch sometimes it just happens

I find that usually on my game I get calls if I'm outside and the time is a five miniute mark (five past, ten past, quarter past etc.) and I walk one step. Also people call you almost immedeatly after you turn the game on. I'm not sure if more calls mean more rematches though.

This also works in R/S: If you keep on going in and out of a route the peaple on that route will want to rematch you quicker. (I used this trick with route 117 and mauville)
