You'll see him when Ash returns to Pallet Town after Sinnoh.

Beyond that, no, Max just had a cameo during the Wallace Cup.

What Cyber said. Max contibuted nothing at all during his run on the main cast, the most we'll see of him are the inevitable "recharge-and-regroup" Pallet Town episodes.

Max seems to be fine at home, which I find a bit sad really after he spent so much time travelling. Hopefully he'll start training eventually, but since the characters never seem to age that's a bit unlikely
