It’s not even that this episode doesn’t sound interesting, even though in my opinion it doesn’t. I think it has more to do with the Masters 8 being revealed and people are more hype for the PWC than Goh sort of meandering in trial missions.

I feel like if the writers gave more of a clear direction with Project Mew things would be different. As of right now Goh’s just collecting tokens until he doesn’t have to anymore which is boring.

Yeah, we don't know how many tokens he needs to collect. The trial missions seems to be random honestly. And the two urshifu trainers get little to no development.

The Articuno one, he received 3. And the ones before that, he received one each I think. So it's 6 tokens in total I believe

If my theory about Prohect Mew Tokens being Goh's equivalent to Badges or Contest Ribbons is correct then he needs about at least 2 more Tokens

So after Goh clears this challenge, he will need to do one Final Misson before he gets accepted as a Chaser

Most likely with the Regis we saw in the OP

He has 5 tokens, Ninetales was just a test and he didn’t receive anything. He got his first token in the Volcarona episode.
