People thought Lucario and Cinderace were going to hog too much screen time after their evolutions, I for one am not complaining that they’ve taken a back seat. I like them both, but not when they’re always there, they would essentially just be two extra traveling companions lol

Cinderace still does show up in Goh centric episodes like Absol and Project Mew

Lucario got a temporary reprieve for now but he'll be back in full force once Korrina and Bea come back. They aren't done with him yet

Since this episode is only a few minutes from airing imagine if Goh just catches a Greninja off to the side with a curve ball while they're in Kalos.
