Yeah, I don't really think the Dragonite species is a good fit for Liko at all. Dratini & Dragonair still does suit her to some extent, so if she catches a Dratini I think it shouldn't evolve beyond the Dragonair stage.

Although I’m not against Liko getting a Dragonite, I would still be disappointed if we end up with the same Pokémon.
That’s why, if Liko is to benefit from a Dragon-type Pokémon, I would opt for either Salamence or Drampa.
As for the former, there could be a whole story surrounding his desire to fly and Liko would do everything in its power to fulfill his Pokémon’s greatest wish.

For the second, all his pokédex entries speak because he has a special connection with children and if something happens to a child he loves, he becomes uncontrollable. So I think he would also be a good candidate to join the Liko team.

In addition, these two dragons have a color palette that fits well with the girl and could be aerial supports for Kilowattrel.

Rayquaza isn't guaranteed since we also have Capsakid whose set to appear under the ownership of a Naranja student in the current opening.

Yeah i dont see how the capsakid will be in this epsiode... when its all abotu the dragon speeders besides it will get really boring if everyones just lying. Also if rayquaza is in the wild why doesnt it just come find liko and roy lol

I'm mostly curious what the next goal will be. They're heading towards a Blackthorn-adjacent location (seemingly Dragon's Den), and Roy might be seeing Rayquaza again. Is Pagogo drawn there because Rayquaza is there? What's next?

a) keep finding Rakurium'd Pokemon?
b) attempt to reach Rakua again in order to find and destroy remaining Rakurium?
c) find a way to expose Spinel's actions?
d) training arc/find a way to counter Rakurium'd Pokemon?
