• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

I mean while we say his pokemon are inexperienced, we don‘t actually know because of most of his ranking battles are in off screen land.
Though he only seems to take Pikachu with him on adventures, so I think we can assume the same happens during off screen days as well.

As many here say, the problem is that most battles happen off-screen, so we don't know the true power of the Ash'spokemon tbh

We saw gengar, lucario, farfetch, and pikachu in the ‘recap’ of his off screen fights in the super class that got him to the 400 in the farfetch episode.

We have no idea how many times he actually battled, what he used for each battle, or anything. That’s how badly handled ash’s progress has been. For all we know they’ve battled a lot, or maybe not at all. There’s no actual way to tell what kind of power and experience they’ve gotten so far.

Just woke up from a nap, I dreamed that Dracovish ripped off Iris head and then kept eating her while Goh was trying to catch Emolga, my god I need to leave the forums a few days
Have you met Captain Jigglypuff sir

Gen 8 seems to be 4 years as its unlikely we get gen 9 next year with DP remakes this year, DLC stuff last year and Legends Arceus next year

Im really glad they brought back Iris's power to sense dragon type mons, good continuity. Really want to know whether its 2v2, 1v1, or 3v3. Imagine if the next episode is a continuation of this lol and we get a 4v4 or even 6v6 :p
6 v 6 is not likely to happen unfortunately at least until he gets to the Master Class, then hopefully it happens, but 4 v 4 wouldn’t be a bad compromise even though the most battles that we could get would most likely be 3 v 3.
I guess it will be a war like the war between Charizard and Dragonite.

This time, Dragonite will do Ash's Charizard task.

I think Ash's Dragonite is overpowered. He just beat mega in his first game.

My theory is this:

I think Iris will be impressed by Ash's Dragonite.

And I think Ash can leave Dragonite to Iris for training.

Iris can make Ash's Dragonite much more powerful like Charizard.

I think Ash will leave his Dragonite to Iris for training, instead he will buy another Psedu legenndary.

It could be Tyranitar or Dragapult.
Ash will not leave his Dragonite to train with a former companion, who is participating in the PWCs and competing with Ash to go after the same goal of taking on Leon. There would be no reason for her to help him and we don’t need to see anymore leave Pokémon to train episodes as Ash is very capable of training his own Pokémon. It’s not like that he is a rookie as the guy did win the regional championship in Alola.
They got Elon musk too. Who do you think owns the mossdeep space center?
Next we will see the people of Vermillion City driving Telsa’s
Hope Ash wins to be fair.
He should since a trip to hyper class is on the line

He has returned.

not to mention Dragonite joined Ash due to the admiration of Ash helping learn how to use Dragon Dance which it had a very hard time doing as a dragonair.

i do not get why every once in a while I see people wanting bad things to befall Ash's pokemon, and don't even get me started on what i've seen some people wanting to happen to Lucario...

So far we've seen two fights in Master Class and they were 1 vs 1, so I don't see a chance for full battles

who's to say that when Ash gets there we won't see a 6 v 6, so far it's been random how battles are determined and who's to say Leon can't request a full battle with Ash?

if Ash and Leon's final fight is not a full battle then what was the point of Ash capturing or using any other pokemon in this saga besides Pikachu anyway?

I have two options

1) Ash will lose to Leon before reaching the MasterClass. Maybe there will be a mini-tournament between the best 8 and the 9-16 positions to determine the new MasterClass, and Ash will have to fight against Leon, in this way, the writers can continue with Ash in the ninth generation without being feel too strong

2) Ash will defeat Leon in the final

Rather, in my opinion, Satoshi would be more likely to propose a full battle. Anyway, considering that during their unofficial battle, none of them proposed it, I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same for the official

There is no reason why Ash’s final battle with Leon would be a 1vs1. The reason why the unofficial battle was a 1vs1 was because it was an official battle and Leon likely just wanted to see where Ash was at.

Plus there wasn’t any reason for the unofficial battle to be a 1vs1 when it was merely designed to set up the rivalry between them. Where as because Ash’s final battle with Leon is going to be one of the final battles if not the final battle of the series they are going to want to go all out for the final battle.

Ha. I see what you did there.

I think it's less people wanting his team dead but more that they want his team to go through real flaws without Ash making it about himself while his Pokemon go on perfectly happy despite losing that they don't get bogged down. The closest we got was G-fetch'd, but it looked a bit forced and last minute.

Ash doesn't humiliate people, even if he wins.

Iris, at any time, on the other hand....
I don't recall she humiliating him last time she won a match between them. Memory's fog but I think she didn't even bragged that much

I normally don't say those things because it's not my place to do that for anyone but....

Dude, you need better dreams....
As long as they don't repeat Pikachu vs. Excadrill I'm fine. Aside from Golurk/Runerigus, Excadrill is possibly the worst match-up Pikachu could fase.
Pikachu was on a helpless fact. Both eletric moves amount to nothing and Quick Attack and Iron Tail were resisted. And no pseudo-soak strategy for Ash to pull off (like he did with Hapu).
