• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

this episode is already stretching things as it is what with Goh's usual antics before the battle, and now a potential need for time taken from the battle for explaining of IF Iris became champion, because her simply saying that she did ain't good enough.

I really wanted to see a good battle between the 2 but i'm starting to think that's not gonna happen, regardless of what Iris's second is.
Eh, I think the episode will start off similar to the Korrina episode, with Ash and Goh already on the plane and probably a quick flashback to them receiving Iris’ letter.

I don’t think we should worry too much about the pacing. We’ve seen a lot of scenes from the battle thus far, and not a lot of scenes outside of the battle, so I’m pretty confident the majority of the episode will be the battle and they’ll just lore dump during the banter.

Oh cannot wait for this episode.
This battle will be so epic.

Wonder if Iris' Dragonite would be open for a hug from Ash's Dragonite if Ash's beats it?
More like forced to hug which has Iris's Dragonite play edgy teenager who just glares or looks away from the object hugging them sort of like a teenage boy being hugged by his mom in public.

Has it been confirmed that Iris is the Unova regional champion? Or is everyone simply speculating based off her outfit?
If she is, then it would be absolutely absurd for Ash to even bother using his Dracovish and even his Dragonite against a trainer who should be capable of holding her own against the likes of Cynthia.

Plus, I just don't see the writers being that stupid enough to ruin Ash's first battle against an official regional champion by making him use a pokemon that has never battled against her.

Paul's fully trained experienced team, couldn't do squat against Cynthia's Garchomp. if Iris is a regional Champion, the same should happen.

And even if she is the "Weakest regional Champion", she has to be stronger than the Elite four of Unova and we have witness Caitlin being able to hold her own against Cynthia and this implies that Iris at a very minimum, should be capable of holding her own against Cynthia if she's a regional champion.

It hasn't been confirmed yet. Just speculation.
