May hates Ash! (and brock, and max)

Okay, so Ash is going to Shinou and so is brock. May is going to Johto for contests. Shinou has contests, why didnt she go with Ash and Brock...for one reason, SHE HATES THEM!!! Also Max left to become a pokemon trainer so now she is traveling alone because thats all she wanted because she is depressed. anyone agree?

She realized that traveling with other people is interfering with her training. And thats why she didn't let Max travel with her.

And she didn't even know about Shinou having contests.

May doesn't hate Ash and co. She has grown into a more independent character and having her go to Johto alone is the only way to see what May could do by herself. I mean I guess in terms of status in profession (like Ash is high level battler....May should be a high level coordinator), May is in the same level as Ash and I guess deserves to travel by herself and explore. So just because she's leaving to Johto does not mean she hates Ash and Brock.

Based on character, Haruka doesn't exactly have the capacity to hate anybody (dislike TR on their methods, sure, but not hate).

And regardless, it would bode completely false in regards to Masato, really.

To be completly honest, I think this actually makes a lot more sense then "Ohsnap, I can't hang around with Ash because he's somehow having negative affects on my battling style, despite the fact that I have won a bunch of contests, almost won the Grand Festival and defeated my big-time rival Shuu".

Haha, but yeah. Seriously. If May did know about contests being in Shinou, I still don't think she would go to Shinou. May wants to travel alone, to get her own style. Traveling with other people won't help that. That's why she left.

Simply being around Ash causes May to become dumber and dumber (that's what happened to poor Team Rocket).
