May's Eevee

Who says her Eevee would evolve into an Espeon when she makes her next appearance? *raises hand*

^Agreed.

I think they gave her an Iibi just to show off the new evolutions.

I think it's gonna evolve into Leafia myself.

Glacia! It'd be so cool if pikachu would shock Team Rocket and Glacia would freeze them and "Team Rocket's blasting off again!" <-- God, I hate that line! XD

Yea, it is possible that it would evolve. Both Leafia and Glacia are kind of cute, so it's one or the other.

Ofcourse, there's also the chance of it not evolving at all. Eevee is already cute, so May might not evolve it.

I've actually thought about that... And well, when a trainer doesn't plan to make their Eevee evolve and onless they have an everstone (or whatever it may be in the anime) unlike the game I don't think you can stop a Pokemon from evolving just by yelling "B button!" or trying to do anything else... And I actually think of May as the type that wouldn't make her Eevee evolve, so who knows, I think I may evolve into an Umbreon or Espeon for friendship and experiance, rather May likes it or not..

Actually, to stop a Pokemon evolving is the Pokemon's choice (Ash's Bulbasaur and Squirtle for instance). So yes, it is possible to not evolve a Pokemon at all, like Ash did with most of his.

I see them pulling a "Misty in Hoenn" with "May in Shinou".

The team comes to this certain part in Shinou where there is a grass rock (or ice rock) that is said to hold mysterious powers. For no reason at all, May and Max pop up at that exact same spot and at exactly the same time as Ash, Hikari, and Brock because she's 'taking a break from contests in Johto' to visit Shinou for a bit.

Yadda yadda yadda, Team Rocket try to dig out the rock and give it to the boss or whatever, blah blah blah May sends out her Eevee to fight Team Rocket and it ends up evolving into Leafia / Glacia during the battle.

Yeah, ok!
I think May's Eevee is blatant proof that the writers originally planned to keep May for the D/P saga. I strongly believe she got Eevee for the same reason Ash got Aipom; for new D/P evo's.

It's a shame that the writers had their plans shortchanged by whatever Nintendo mandated for advertising purposes, and thus we may never see Eevee reach its full potential.

It'll go exactly like Akeji said, a/some filler episode/s to pointlessly give an old character a new pokemon to never make an appearance again.

Exams already?!
no. leafia.

because her squirtle knows ice moves.

She does have Bulbasaur, you know...

At least Squirtle isn't the Ice type...

I do like Leafia better, but I think it will evolve into Glacia... She does have three normal types, though (hopefully, only two in the near future).

I just thought of something... what if, when they meet, Hikari starts to idolize May (she may have won the Johto Grand Festival by then...)

If Ash and Brock ever bother to mention May to Hikari, (for some reason, now that May's gone it seems like Ash and Brock have lost all memory of her), Hikari probably WOULD idolize May.

By the end of AG, May was semi-famous, (everyone in that last Contest knew who she was), and by coming in the Top 4 in only her second Grand Festival, she's done tremendously well in a short timeframe.

Considering Hikari is in the same field as May, she probably would idolize her. Which is why I really wanted to see May mentor Hikari, but that won't happen until at least it's time for Hikari to leave the show. In fact, it would be neat if by the end of D/P Hikari goes off with May so she can mentor the other.

If you mean May mentors Hikari after D/P on there own adventure, then I would have to disagree. By the end of D/P, the writers would put her in the position they always put characters in; "I've gotten so much better, but I still have a lot to do...". Hikari and May would both have a good amount of experience by the end of D/P, but May wouldn't get that much better where she could mentor someone that would be near her own level of ability. Instead of a mentor relationahip, I think it would be better to have a friend/rival relationship, like friendly competitiveness.
