Yes, it's confirmed that May's Egg hatched into an Eevee in this episode

So, what are your opinions on this? I figured it would be easier to do a new thread since the poll one was for speculation of something that we found the answer of. Personally, I thought it might've been a D/P Pokemon, but I also hoped if it was either Eevee or Zigzagoon, it would be Eevee. And, I wasn't one of those people who were 100% sure of their guess.

Serebii said it was in the episode discussion of this week's episode. I'm relieved that it hatched, even though it didn't seem like it would hatch in this one, I was expecting it at least after the battle pike episode.

Personally, I feel that eevee is a kinda boring pokemon, I don't think there's much potential for interesting stories to happen with it (maybe because it's been in the anime before). With this said, I hope it evolves soon... I don't give a damn which form it evolves into either.

If it evolves REALLY soon, I'm ok. If it stays as Eevee for more then 5 episodes, then I won't like it. I've always disliked Eevee for some reason.

God I hope not, we've seen Espeon often enough with trainers. IF it is going to evolve, it will proberly be a D/P eevee evolution.

yeah if there is one. Besides Espeon is a good psychic. But perhaps Umbreon is a better choice.

I doubt it. Pikachu is the main Pokemon of the series. Eevee is a Pokemon made to evolve and fill up type gaps.

other than Espeon, I've got my fingers crossed for a Jolteon (since May already has a water and fire type, and Gary had an Umbreon)....a new D/P evolution would be nice also....grass or steel type maybe...

..."Pull a Charmeleon"? Charmeleon wasn't a baby, was it? It's NOT going to evolve that quickly. They're going to milk the "cuteness" out of Eevee for a while, then evolve it into some piece of crap. :/

$5 says that they're using Eevee as a vehicle to showcase some new D/P evolution for it.

Eevee use tail whip and follow up with a sand attack. Oh joy this isn't going to be that interesting unless the writers take the opportunity to learn moves that it cant normally learn or learn "TM" moves that it wouldnt normally learn by leveling up. Jolteon and Umbreon are my fav. of the eeveelutions but, I dont like them much. I could see May brushing that big puff of fur but, a there couldve been way more interesting pokemon.

I’ve remained virtually silent on this issue, but quite frankly I can now breathe a sigh of relief. Regardless of you idealistic fools that bitch about the over exposure of the Eeveelutions, Eevee blatantly has far more potential than a damn Zigzagoon ¬_¬

4th Gen evolution marketing ploy is inevitable in my opinion, come on it’s too bloody obvious lol
