When I was younger, I thought cosplaying would be the shit. Then, I looked at how much costumes cost. They were too ****ing expensive, so I didn't buy any. A little while later, a cosplay event in my area came up. Luckily, by that time I had quit watching anime/reading manga, and I couldn't think of any benefits in dressing up as a video game character, so I just said "**** this ****" and never thought of it again.

True story.
