I loved Callista's bit about parents who live vicariously through their kids and who insist that they learn a skill. I felt sorry for Callista having to deal with parents like that.

Frankly, I'm amazed that the time traveling aspect involving Kuruyo's older self going to the past didn't permanently mess up the timeline via the butterfly effect. The anime tends to ignore consequences like that, unfortunately.
