This is a thread which will unite all the other threads talking about their amazing accomplishments. e.g. Greatest Catching Moment or something

In this thread you can list anything that you think is remotely amazing, as long as it is not something like catching shinies. You can post it here, yes, but there is another that talks about this already. So refrain from doing so.
Instead, talk about the most amazing things you've done that make you think you have just broken a record. Like LONG LONG battles that were so intense you almost fainted at the end of it. Or other absolutely revered things you succeeded in doing.
I'll start. It was like way back then in 1999, I was playing Blue, and we were in a battle against Mewtwo. We had it frozen, we had it bound up by my level 15 Ekans (we were so desperate we tried anything that could bring us anywhere remotely near catching that Mewtwo, and I did not know that real-life sitches did not work in the game. I 'm still doing it) and we beat it down to 1 HP. We did not know that lowering stats could heighten chances of catching the Pokemon. The process took 20 minutes, and mind you that was a lot of time to me! We lost all our balls, and my Masterball was used on a Moltres. It was down to our last ball, a Pokeball, and with sheer force, I hit the A button on the gameboy color and it caught him at last! (I was also a very new newbie who believed in those fantasies, and when things get desperate or something like that, I still believe them)
BTW I'm already a veteran at the game, but you will notice that when you are hanging by the skin of your teeth in a sitch, you will tend to go haywire and try button pressing fantasies, fantastic techniques, and go with real-life actions like using Bind on Mewtwo, thinking I know it doesn't work, but let's do it anyway, who knows it will work or I might get lucky. This is hard to explain. Now I am still doing it, knowing it doesn't work but thinking at the same time, It's good to have another technique under your belt. AND I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT IS NOT NOOBISH, SO ADMIT IT!
Another one, I beat the Blend Master! Sounds like a load of hot air, but when I saw it, I did think the Gameboy was wrong too. But then, I kind of mastered the technique of hitting a perfect shot everytime the chance of pressing A button comes. The berry master got 6, I got 8. And we went for it again. I missed one, but I missed one, so I lost to the Blend Master, scoring 7, while he scored 8. Anyone done that before?
Once again, this thread talks about the most amazing things you did in the game, like those above, and not just catching shinies(though they are very coveted, yes.)
