Meeting of Abyss: Last Chance
Prologue
The planet Earth, guarded by the Legendaries, the unique among the lesser dwellers of the planet. The Legendaries guarded the Earth in unity and with wisdom. Kanto, the largest of continents on Earth, was guarded by Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos and Mewtwo. Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Suicune, Entei and Rakiou guarded Johto, the smallest of the three continents of Earth. Lastly, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Latios, Latias, the Regis, Deoxys and Jirachi protected Hoenn, the most corrupted of the human infested continents. Among all the Legendaries, Mew, Mother of Destiny, kept balance within the conflicting elements. Beside her ruled Dautas, Father of Life, the most mysterious of the Legendaries who hid in the shadows, his form unknown.
Life on Earth had been peaceful, the Legendaries roamed freely as humans with humans, especially Dautas. But humans were imperfect and many planted their seed of greed into Dautas, corrupting him into imperfection. Before long, he began to crave for power and secretly rebelled behind the back of Mew and the other Legendaries.
Soon, his madness clawed at his sanity and became so strong that the Legendaries began to see it. Regretfully, the Legendaries banished Dautas from their presence, leaving him to breed his evil once again in secret.
After peace for nearly half a millennia, Dautas returned with more power than before, wreaking havoc wherever he stepped. Mew told the Legendaries that no such power could be attained to challenge him without a human host. A unique human had to be chosen for each Legendary; the human required the soul of his or her Legendary.
It was later discovered that Dautas had learned this and achieved his strength by finding a human with a heart of pure evil. With their humans, the Legendaries only barely matched Dautas’ power combined, but nevertheless attacked Dautas in a war known to few as the Meeting of Abyss. The war lasted for hundreds of years.
Luckily, the chosen humans would live as long as their Legendary as long as they were untainted by poison or unless they were killed with any blade, but there was a price. If the humans themselves died, the Legendary would wilt as well.
Finally, the war ended disastrous for Dautas, who fled with his human his corrupted sanctuary, but on his way to safety, the Legendaries pursued him to forever end his wrath. Turning on them, Dautas cursed them to mortality, with their offspring to take their places after their death and to take the form of humans in weakness or willingness.
To increase their shame, he vowed that about 20 years before his return, one of their kind would be born as a human among each Legendary species, but the child would never know his or her heritage till the Meeting of Abyss draws dangerously close. Out of them all, one would go to him willingly and aid Dautas. So Dautas fled in the Legendaries bafflement and nursed his perilous wounds.
Nearly a millennia later, one human child was borne upon each Legendary clan. The children had the abilities of their clans, but they could never distinguish their powers as their doing. It was before the Meeting of Abyss that the human Legendaries joined the leader of their clan, the Guardian, but when the battle begun, the son of Mew willingly joined Dautas.
Devastated that the all curses were true, the Legendaries began to falter in the battle, but they soon remembered their true strength hidden in their humans and triumphed. Unfortunately, Mew’s son protected Dautas from death and took him away, keeping him alive.
Many millenniums passed and the Meeting of Abyss still continued to arrive and a human among the Legendary clans betrayed the Legendaries, despite all the precautions they made. The Leaders of the clans became known as Guardians and they held the names of their clans, though their humans call them their real names.
Finally, Mew called that so much killing occurred, that the world could not sustain itself any longer. The Legendaries agreed and anxiously awaited the births of the next humans of their clans, prepared to train them to their peak to destroy Dautas.

You are a member of a Legendary clan and have been summoned with your Guardian to fight in the Meeting of Abyss. You are to meet at the Unown Ruins (RP starts there; please write about how you arrived) where you are going to be briefed on the full details of the battle. You will travel to Hoenn, on the other side of the world, by passing though Kanto. On the way, minions of Dautas will try and stop you. They can be anyone, so be careful. They will have the powers of Darkness and will do anything to stop you. Good luck and watch your comrades closely, for one of them will betray you to Dautas, but do not let such a thing fly you and the other Chosen apart, for together you stand, divided you fall.

* This is the clan of your Legendary. There are more than one species of the Legendary, but only the strongest, called the Guardian, are allowed to roam. Cursed to mortality, when a Guardian grows old, they transform to humans in their weakness and dwell among them, caretakers or anonymous helpers for the chosen humans borne to help the Guardian of their clan. A new Guardian is chosen when the earlier one dies or is too old and their name is changed to the name of the clan.
**This is the real name of your Legendary. Only your character and their pokemon are allowed to refer to your Legendary by its true name.
***This is a charm made from the bondage between you Guardian and character. It can be a sort of ornament, bracelet, necklace, earrings, ring, etc. made of any element and should be shaped like something significant on your legendary. Your Guardian’s powers are channeled into the insignia and into the character, unlocking their ability to use their powers. It can also be used for communicating to your Guardian when separated.
****Pokemon should be in the evolved state of below level 50. I don’t want any superpowerful pokemon. To obtain pokemon, PM me first with the species and where you’re gonna catch it (please use an actual battle, trading or event that made the pokemon join you) and I will choose whether or not to approve it. I have seen crappy RPs where on player found two Legendaries and they gave him a baby from each of them of their species in two sentences (whole post). I would appreciate it if you PMed me before evolving to approve it cause its kinda Godmoding yourself when you have your pokemon evolve at every post and no one with sense likes that.

Description: Lynne is overall a beautiful girl. She has long, straight hair colored midnight-black with streaks of dark blue, her eyes are dull purple and she wears a dark blue jeans and an pale aqua-colored, long sleeved shirt. She is medium height and always leaves her hair loose or framing her face. Her skin is pale and she has a skinny, yet agile frame. Her voice is light and musical, so people have the tendency to want to start a conversation with her only to hear her voice.
Personality: Lynne is shy and secretly adventurous. She loves it when Evadne takes her on rides though the land. Lynne is bright and is quick to think. She has the knack of getting herself into troublesome situations, which Evadne is left to dump her out of. She loves Evadne like a sister and is careful about her feelings. She is brave and benevolent and stands for truth and the welfare of others. Lynne loves swimming and favors cold places. Her temper gets short if tried and she's vengeful to those who wrong her.

History: Lynne lived with an old couple she assumed were her grandparents. She lived happily with them until she was 13 to begin her pokemon journey. On the day she was to leave New Bark Town, she got a Dratini as a gift from her grandparents to be her partner. Lynne named her Rhuge and was very close to her by the time they reached Cherrygrove City.
Months later, in Ecruteak City, Lynne had participated in battling the Gym Leader, Morty, and lost severely. When she was healing her pokemon at the PokeCenter, she called her grandparents to ensure they were faring well. Her grandmother gave her a huge smile and told her that there was something very amazing in the Burnt Tower at the West of the city. After hanging up and gathering her newly-healed pokemon, Lynne ventured to the smoldering remains of what was once a large and majestic tower.
Inside, Lynne roamed about, wondering what she was supposed to find when she tripped and fell into a gaping hole in the floor. When she regained her composure, Lynne swept the dust from her scraped elbows and knees. After swiping most of the dirt from herself, she looked around for a possible exit. She squinted her eyes in attempt to adjust to the darkness and soon found an old ladder leading to the surface. As she approached the ladder, Lynne heard a faint whispering.
Oddly drawn by the eerie sound, she approached three large, magnificent statues, each depicting a monster of unspeakable beauty and power. The one on the far left seemed to be making the whispering noise. Lynne adored the gorgeous creature the statue portrayed, and she also felt an odd relation to it, like she had seen it and known it all her life in the back of her mind. She extended out her hand and touched the diamond horn protruding from the statue. The whispering suddenly grew louder and a massive draft swam around her. It seemed like she would be swept off her feet, but Lynne felt no strength in the wind.
The statue began to glow, its light shining brighter and brighter around her, blinding Lynne’s sight. When it subsided, Kiret looked to see a stunningly beautiful dog before her. Its dark blue mane swung behind it like a cloak and its fur was smooth as its light aqua color. Its eyes were brilliant and shone the same dull purple Lynne saw in her face when she looked in a mirror and behind the beast wriggled two tails like ribbons in an invisible wind. Looking into the creature’s face, Lynne felt the same surge of familiarity and kinship among the beast.
It was in time to come that Lynne realized she could talk to the creature, called Suicune, and found out of her relationship with her. Lynne had known Evadne, her friend’s real name, for 3 years when she was told about the Meeting of Abyss. Lynne agreed instantly to risking her life for the will of others and began her training in her powers with Evadne.
Legendary’s Personality: Evadne is exactly like Kiret, but isn’t vengeful just for mockery, but for more personal reasons. Sometimes, Evadna willingly transforms into a human and looks exactly like Kiret, but she is more graceful and less tomboyish.
Insignia: Lynne’s insignia is made of crystal and takes the same shape of the horn on Evadne’s head with two delicate ribbons on either side of it and is worn around her neck with a crystal chain.

Gender: Female
Species: Illusania
Personality: Avelia is vain and conscious of her looks constantly. She is flirty when in the presence of a male of her species or their evolutions. Avelia, though, loves ending battles quickly, so she works quite hard to battle. She is patient and takes her time in everything except battles and depleting herself from the presence of strange pokemon.
History: Avelia was given as a farewell gift from Lynne’s grandparents, who were really aged members of the Suicune Clan. She followed Kiret wherever she went and has been faithful to her all her life. She evolved during Lynne’s training to hone her water powers, which provided Avelia with challenging battles she enjoyed and a good amount of experience. Avelia also has a special relationship with Evadna, who cares for her and gives her wise advice at times.

Name: Cyrene
Gender: Female
Species: Vaporeon
Personality: Cyrene is sneaky and has a large appetite. She can’t keep her mouth shut and isn’t reliable to secrets, which she has the knack of hearing off when she’s not supposed to know. Cyrene gains influence from Rhuge about mating bonds, but not as strongly.
History: Cyrene was originally a representative and messenger of the Suicune Clan and brought messages or summons to Evadna or other clans. When delivering messages to Evadna, Cyrene would wait at Lake Mortar, the easiest channel between Mahogany Town and Ecruteak City, and howl to the water, which would echo across the world until it reached Evadna’s ears. Evadna could not return to see her clan, which might reveal their location because she drew a large amount of attention, and clan members could not leave their haven to arise the truth of more than one of their sacred species, so Cyrene and few others were chosen to be the clan’s messengers.
When Cyrene met Lynne for the first time, she grew a strong liking to her and was soon asked by the clan if she would like to join Lynne. Cyrene instantly agreed and brought the news to Evadna. Another representative was chosen in her place and Cyrene was assigned a mission while with Lynne.
Other: Cyrene sometimes sends urgent messages to other clans or the Suicune clan when Evadna and Kiret are in very threatening situations and need help.

Name: Orion Jarenger
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Description: Orion's a cute boy with slightly wavy dark brown hair reaching halfway to his shoulders. He's a bit tall for his age and is thin but athletic. His eyes are brown, and his skin is donned with the usual amount of melanin for someone who doesn't spend much time in the sun. He usually wears a brown shirt and jeans with black sneakers. His voice is kinda raspy, but it doesn't change that fact that he's a wonderful person to talk to.
Personality: Being the boy he is, Orion plays pranks at times and enjoys teasing Lynne. He keeps a cool temper and, like Lynne, is adventurous, but he shows it. He makes quick friends and is sometimes shy around others, but if left alone with his friends, he is the exact opposite. A genius in math, history, gym and science, he used to make fun of Lynne since she always got second place after him in tests, races and such. Lynne used to have a crush on him till he played a prank on her by holding a bucket of water over the door and dousing her in it when she entered the classroom. Since then they had been rivals, both studying hard to best the other in school.
Legendary Clan: Mewtwo
Guardian: Zerok
History: Orion was Lynne's childhood rival and probably still is. They competed against each other in school and when they both graduated to start their journey, they competed to get all their badges first. Orion bid farewell to Lynne by ordering his Flareon to use Mud-Slap on her. Drenched in mud, Lynne muttered some vengeful curses t o herself and stomped to the PokeCenter to get herself cleaned.
Laughing to himself, Orion proceded to Violet City a day ahead of her and got his first badge with ease. From then he moved to the next town and before long, with the help of his Pidgeot, he was on his way to Mt. Silver.
There is where he met Zerok, who accidentally got there when he was trying to strangle some guy name Giovanni who has actually been dead for 10 years. Broken-hearted that he never got to kill him, he teleported into the sea, hoping to drown himself until he found out he could breath in water. He next tried getting himself beat up by powerful pokemon in Mt. Silver, but he forgot he was a Legendary pokemon and couldn't possibly get defeated by them.
Zerok was having a nightmare when Orion first saw him. His arms were flailing about and he was yelling about his dad not letting him read Thyplogirl's fics (yes, his dad is cruel). Orion braved enough to poke him with a stick. When Zerok woke up, he screamed like a little girl in fear of the stick.
After he calmed down with Orion's help, Zerok introduced himself, "I'm Zerok, ryhmes with parakeet."
"Uh, no it doesn't." Orion admitted to him.
"NOOOOO!!!!! I've lived in a life of lies." Zerok cried aloud as Orion wondered what a parakeet was.
Legendary's Personality: Zerok is schizophrenic, but none of his other 'hims' are really normal. The only one that can think speaks in a close-cut English accent while wearing reading glasses that British people used to, or still do, wear. Another thinks it can defie the laws of physics while another one can read (amazing, huh?) but will only refrain to reading Typhlogirl's fics, which of course and very very good and comical. The others are just plain weird, but overall, Orion greatly favors his friend.
Insignia: Orion's insignia is a white gold bracelet with a charm in the shape of Mewtwo's head.

Name: SkyWing
Gender: Male
Species: Pidgeot
Personality: Skywing is polite and obedient, following Orion's orders without question. He is totally freaked out to learn that Zerok is schizophrenic, but still enjoys spending leisure time talking to his glasses-wearing side, even if he has a close-cut English accent.
History: Skywing was Orion's first pokemon to catch when he started on his journey. Caught as a Pidgey, through tough training from his diligent trainer, he soon became a Pidgeotto and evolved into his final stage shortly afterward. With his flying abilities, Orion has found him useful to stay ahead of Lynne in their rivalry. Skywing was shocked to see what type of pokemon the legendary Zerok was and sometimes talks with his English-accented side at times.

Name: Sniper
Gender: Male
Species: Flareon
Personality: Sniper's attitude is barely decipherable. He loves playing tricks with Orion on Lynne, especially enjoying watching her scream in frustration as she is doused in mud. He is brave and stubborn at times, but playful nevertheless. He highly enjoys confusing Zerok's many personalities by totally randomizing the topic as he switches personalities.
History: Sniper's history is not known very well, but he was rescued by Orion when he was a little boy. Orion cared for him and evolved him at Goldenrod as a reward for helping him defeat Whitney, the Gym Leader. Highly proud of himself, the Flareon hence forth promised to protect Orion nowhatter what happened and always saty by his side.

Name: Preen
Gender: Female
Species: Ninetales-shiny
Personality: Preen is shy and nervous. She has a crush on Sniper, but refuses to admit or show any hint by pretending like a spoiled cat and mocking Sniper when he makes silly mistakes. Skywing can easily see behind her exterior, but keeps his silence or else he'll find himself the next Thanksgiving dinner.
History: Preen used to belong to a cruel trainer who was arrested for cruelty to pokemon and she was sent to a pound. It was there that she met Sniper, who had accidentally gotten separated from Orion and ended up in the pound. When Orion arrived there to pick up Sniper, he noticed Preen and gained her trust. He managed to adopt her and add her to his team. Preen is extremely grateful for Orion's kindness, but feels infuriated when he plays pranks on Lynne, which is why she occasionally resents him.
Other: Preen was once an errand runner for Moltres' clan until she was illegally caught by a coordinator while she was passing through a pokemon sanctuary where she should have been safe from being caught. Her trainer was eventually tracked and charged guilty, her coordinator license taken from her and put on a life probation from using pokemon in any way.

-shipping and traveling together allowed (shipping can be between pokemon, trainers or Legendaries)
-if you are supposed to betray to Dautas’ side, then DON’T tell anyone about it or give VERY obvious hints in your roleplaying. I want it to be a surprise so some people accidentally begin putting in their suspicions of who is the traitor and point it out in the RP. Also, DO NOT say you PMed me, hoping you’re to be chosen as the traitor cause that might bring in possibilities in other player’s minds. Once I choose the traitor before the RP begins, I will give them details on how they must act.
-I expect you to have NO full control of your powers once the war begins. It’s boring when there’s a player who has absolute control over their power; aka GaryStu/MarySue. It’s okay to make a few mistakes.
-keep your grammar and I expect you to use some forms of punctuation and capitalization. We’re humans, we have brains, we get an education in language, so put it to good use and you might eventually realize it'll help you in getting a job.
-no fighting against each other (in non-RPG life) just because someone made a mistake or I will report you both for spamming. Just forgive, edit, and forget.
-no spamming; if it’s somewhat off topic, use OOC
-when the battle starts, I don’t want someone to run off and kill Dautas, I have already planned for that, but will only brief it when the battle begins.
-please make this thing long so people will enjoy it, I hate to see someone already in Hoenn when everyone else is just leaving the Unown Ruins.
-no going into your clan's sacred dwelling
-no capturing any legendaries
Yes, they are a lot of rules, but I don’t want Razor to get rid of this RP, cause then it would be a total waste of space. Let’s make this thing worth it.
