I'm not sure where to put this but if its in the wrong section don't close this just move it. Okay, I was playing super smash bros. melee one day and i unlocked everything beisides the trophies. I then play it and i find that i dont have some of the stages and i havent beaten all the events and i dont have the scoreboard.

Here are two possibilities of wat happened:

1. Before i checked i just for fun, went to the game and i pressed be to get back to the opening page. I then repeated this process about fifty times. I think that might of screwed up the memory card

2. My cousin has a very bad conditioned memory card and right now he has unlocked everything besides the trophies and the things that got deleted from my memory card. What i'm thinking is that i once borrowed that memory card and i put it in my gamecube. I think since its in such a bad condition that the memory data leaked into my gamecube. THen when i put my memory card in, it could of contaminated my card.

What i'm asking from you guys are two things; #1: What do you think went wrong.

#2: Can i get it repeared?

I have a few questions:
1.) What size was the memory card.
2.) What company made the memory card.
3.) How old is your GC and when was the last time you cleaned it? (Total cleaning..)
Other then Nintendo branded MCs, the 3rd party ones are very unreliable and often delete data. =/ As a gamer I know your pain, but, there is not much you can do.

I'm assuming that it is the Nintendomade one. =/ Your problem could come from within, so to say. Try, lightly, cleaning out your GC memory card ports. Dust, lint, ect could be stuck in there causing damage to your system and your Memory card.

No. Once data is deleted from the memory card it cannot be restored. ._. ; However, it will act as a safeguard over new data that you save.
