Meoth team rockets downfall

I believe jessie and james would have probably had a better status in team rocket if meoth never joined them. Meoth has always been over imaginative , compelling his partners to do crazy stunts while focusing only about the rewards. Jessie and james probably would have stop chasing after pichachu

a while ago without meoth over emphasizing Giovanni's reaction. They probably be tougher as well without james having to constantly carry meoth when they first met soften both him and jessie. I'm guessing they would be at par with butch and casidy working for an admin or scientist without meoth what are your opinions.

I've always seen Meowth as the brains behind Team Rocket.
His little fantasies are the soul of Team Rocket.
Without him, Team Rocket would fail.

well i will have to a agree with you angeal if meowth did go (or never joined) Jessie and James would not be chasing pichachu and would be more powerful and more tougher then they are now so meowth is the downfall in Jessie and James team rockets career.

None of the three are capable of raising into the high rungs of Team Rocket together or separately. Meowth has the will to do good but not the strength. Jessie has the strength but she doesn't always make the best decisions. James is a logical thinker decision-wise but does not usually have the will to do much for himself. Together their personalities usually clash rather then support one another to make them go farther for comedic purposes.

What Team Rocket really needs to be successful is a superior who will guide them in their missions but Team Rocket is too big of an organization to bother or care too much about the progress of their individual members or even keep track of them as we've seen several times throughout the anime.

TR is one of those teams where if anyone of them were to bid their goodbyes, the other two members would probably perform better heists. As a threesome; however, they end up stepping on each others toes and their plans fall through. ;025;

I would have to agree.I personally fine Meowth annoying.He's like the guy in a heist that tells you that you will be rich beyond imagination, but you find out that you'll lose an arm and a leg towards the end.Without Meowth, Jessie and James may prove to be an actual threat.Instead of just ruining episodes trying to catch Pikachu all they time, they could put their focus towards something more important.They get so caught up in the spoils, they fail to see al the flaws in Meowth's plans

Scenario: Meowth sees a Trainer with a Metagross that he thinks Giovanni would want

Meowth: Im sure the boss would to get his hands on that powerful Pokemon

"Insert stupid scneario with Giovanni that is never true"

Jessie and James: Lets do it!!!

Trainer beats the crap out of them with Metagross followed by a finish with Thunderbolt from Pikachu.

Team Rocket blasts off again

The same old routine is really getting old.They never take into account that Giovanni doesn't even want the Pokemon or the Trainer will fight back to get the Pokemon that they care about.Or the Pokemon may be too strong for them to catch.They need to just dump Meowth and his stupid convoluted plans.

meowth is my fav person on team rocket and without meowth how else would jesse and james understand pokemon speech without meowth as there translator, and meowth is the mastermind behind all of TR's plans.

I think Meowth needs Jessie & James as much as they need him. He doesn't always help in their criminal lifestyle (but let's be honest NONE of them are going to make a Most Wanted list anytime soon) but as a friend he shows his importance. He seems to be the one who is most against the idea of Rocket disbanding (even when his plan was to fake quitting TR he couldn't keep up the act when J&J got hurt, nor could he live on a luxury island knowing they would not be around). Friendship is his primary goal over theivery. Even the Boss fantasies always contain a line abt rewarding "Meowth & friends" and sometimes involve Giovanni playing w/ his lovable new pokes.
To some degree, the trio all like sneaking around in mechas and digging holes. But I don't think Jessie's primary motivation is the Rocket ideal of stealing rare pokemon either. I think she pursues the glory and fame she would get from a sucessful heist more than the material goods. You'll notice she didn't try to grab any of Hunter J's frozen pokemon or fancy equipment but stopped to pose for the camera.
James' motivation to me is the hardest to pin down. Initially I thought he liked the freedom of TR to dress and act as he pleased and exsuce all his family obligations, now I wonder if he stays tied to them simply b/c at this point it is easier than any other goal.
Mostly their personalitys seem to bring out the worst in ea. other and lead to failure but every now & again we have an ep where they work well, usually as temporary "good guys". They'd probly have better luck if they weren't together 24/7 (I know I like my family but I appreciate them more after having a break) but the fact they ARE still together after so much time speaks well of their loyalty if not commen sense!

I don't think that Jessie and James would do better without Meowth. Many his plans don't work but when they do work Jessie or James are usually the ones who screw up the plan in the end. Of course, Jessie and James would fail with or without Meowth so it doesn't really matter.

Very good point there, a third human member should come, ex agent with tons of experience, that could help the team reclaim confidence, and start being very serious threats.

He is right. Since Jessie and Jame's personalities and ideas clash, they would have fallen apart. Meowth acts as a tie breaker, and a median.
