Why don't you include Psychic? I know most people don't like it, but he is Psychic and it wouldn't hurt to have Psychic with Metagross, just like it wouldn't hurt to have a Kyogre with Surf.

psychic beats poison and fighting. EQ beats poison, and a CBgross could basically beat any fighting type with meteor mash and boom.

Psychic is a shafted type. Only ever used to Kill Weezing really.

Make sure you give it the best physical attacks that it can learn, because that's what metagross' purpose in battling is.
