OOC: Well here we are at last.

A huge red bird sat in an immense wasteland, accompanied by an emerald green dragon, nearly twice the size of the bird, a large earthy brown unicorn that was slightly smaller and a huge green skinned tortoise, the smallest of the three, about a third of the size of the dragon.

<“Ho-oh, surely we’ve given the fourth generations enough time?”> the unicorn asked, raising her white wings and shaking her silver mane in impatience.

<“I guess so, what do you say bro?”> the phoenix asked, fixing his black eyes on the dragon.

<“Well I say the sooner the better. Team Abomination have already got their elites placed throughout the country my sources tell me, and it’s best we get our agents out now,”> the dragon replied, cracking his green knuckles out of boredom, and landing on the ground, fed up of having to support his weight in the air waiting for the weakest of the legendaries.

“Well that’s two votes, what do you say Cheloly?” the phoenix now asked, turning his head to look at the tortoise.

“I don’t mind either way, but it will be interesting to see what our descendants have chosen. I know we’re familiar with Latios’s and Suicune’s chosen, but the others I’m curious about,” the tortoise answered, spinning his propeller like leaves in anticipation. He always loved to meet new people.

“Okay then, it’s three votes to known, and we all know where I stand!” the bird laughed, smiling. He flared up the constantly fluctuating colours on his wings, and shot a bam of rainbow light into the sky. The signal for the legendaries and their chosen to come to the Whirlwind Plains, ancient meeting place of the legendaries, in Astra had come. Jirachi descended slowly onto the grass.

“So Jirachi, you ready for this?” Uniceera, the unicorn, asked, lowering her head to the small fairy that now stood among the giants.

“Of course Uniceera, anything to save my sister!” he confidently replied, his long yellow wings rising into the air and the four wish tags that adorned the star shaped crown he wore shaking with the power surge his passion was causing.

“Good to hear little guy,” Rayquaza, the dragon, said, “This will hopefully be the last time we’ll need your help to stop Team Abomination. Though of course once Sieg, Tila, Cane and Derek are finished on their quest, we will need you to morph us again,”

“Of course. I’m still surprised you managed two Sacred Blasts in two years,” Jirachi answered.

“Oh come on, do you expect any less from us!? We’re the Sacred Four!” Ho-oh laughed, his usual overconfidence showing.

“Yeah except manage a hat-trick, that’s why the Sacred Chosen are on their quest. You need power, and you need it fast, and I do believe the first of your forces has arrived,” Jirachi said, as a large blue dog arrived. On it’s back sat a teenage boy, no younger than Sieg had been when he had first began his journey, with green hair, a similarly green hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and a blue camping bag. Around his neck he wore a small charm, which was identical to the gem adorning the dog’s head.

“Hey Ho-oh, we’re here!” Drake said, as he walked over to the Sacred Four.

“You called on us my master?” Suicune said, his purple mane waving like the sea.

“Listen Suicune, cut the master nonsense, and yes, it’s time for your bonding. We will begin when all the others arrive. Hopefully we won’t be waiting long, Team Abomination’s getting stronger by the second,”

“Why do we have to wait?” Drake questioned, clearly eager to get back to Hoenn and away from Astra.

“Simple boy who looks like my sons trainer at your age, Jirachi needs a lot of power to bond people and Pokemon properly, so it would be easier to bond you all at once, so Jirachi will have plenty of time to recharge afterwards,” Rayquaza answered.

“Would you stop calling me that, my name’s Drake Rayquaza,” Drake replied angrily.

“Yes and so is Nylf’s trainer. Other than surname you and him are almost identical, so please just stop fussing and be patient,”

“You can hardly talk Rayquaza,”

“Just shut up Cheloly!”

OOC: We aren’t bonded yet, so first come to the Whirlwind Plains in Astra. It’s best to go by either flying Pokemon or Legendary, since Astra’s south of Hoenn. We won’t properly start until EVERYONE posts their intro post. I mean EVERYONE.

Lady Myuu's Opposite
Alex leasurely booted up the small desktop. It started up, slowly, and began showing the neccesary datas already at once. Team Abnomination. He twitched out of reflex as his eyes passed the name.

He sighed. Still nothing useful observed. They had found a new source of money-income, but it was impossible to find anything about it from this distance. If he was to find it out, he would have to come in physical contact with the main computer. He shook his head.

He could always try another crack on the Wall that was the block between him and the Main Computer's special files. That train of thought was suddenly stopped as a great flash appeared in the sky. Alex stared at it. Then, he shrugged and turned to Regice. "Hey, Ice, should we try to...what's wrong?"

The Regi was also staring at the light in the sky. "Alex, get your things now." he said, serious. "Just take what's important." "What...why?" Alex asked, baffled. "Ho-Oh calls you." Regice simply answered. Alex' eyes widened.

That was the reason he was now flying on the Icy Wind from Regice as they sped into the distance, only with his casual grey clothing and the black coat flaring as a banner behind him. He had done as Regice had said, only taken what was important. He had his Pokeballs, his modified DexNav, the small laptop and some other things that could come in handy.

They started flying over the Whirlwind Plains, famous for its...nothingness. It was the most empty place in the 4 continents. It stretched for miles with nothing else than grass and wind. And of course those shapes in the distance that seemed to get nearer and nearer. Then it started to brighten for him. "Those are them, aren't they?" he asked the Regi. He simply nodded. Soon, they slowed down and stopped fully in front of the Legendaries and a boy roughly his own age. "Uhm, hey?" Alex tried.

Reignited with Ego!
Anubial was waiting away from them for his chosen.

"Why do I need a chosen?" he asked Ho-oh. "I don't need that idiot."

"Silence," Ho-oh answered. "You will bond with your chosen as Suicune has bonded with his."

"I don't need that orphan," Anubial muttered, pacing. "I don't need anyone."

"Well, I beg you to reconsider," Ho-oh answered. "Go and get him."

"He can find his own way here," the blue Pokemon retorted.

"Who is he talking about?" Drake asked. He and Suicune shared a very close bond, why would Anubial oppose his Chosen?

Anubial looked at the boy with a sour expression. "Tobias," he seethed, kicking at the dirt.

****************************************************

"See anything Swellow?" a young man shouted to his bird Pokemon. His brown hair was waving in the wind.

"Low, Swell," he Pokemon screeched, flying down to land on his shoulder.

"Thanks old friend," Tobais answered, pulling out a Pokeball and letting Swellow have a long rest. They had been working hard, trying to find this Sacred Four group.

All Tobias knew about them was that they were an old race, dedicated to preserving the planet from evil. Playing hero, Tobias had travelled to Astra in an attempt to find them. "Anubial might be there," Andrew muttered, he had longed to catach a glimpse again of the legendary Pokemon.

The Whirlwind Planes were vast, spanning a distance far greater than Tobias could walk in ten days. Still Tobias managed to make it, he had plenty of food in reserve for himself and his Pokemon.

In the distance he could vaugly see four large things, for lack of a better word, for he still could not see them clearly. He had been told that there would be thirteen others like him there.

"I'll bet they were flown in, or something like that," Tobias muttered, he was always left out of everything. The outcast of society. "So why was I chosen?" Tobias asked, breaking into a run towardsthe place where the Sacred Four was standing.

******************************************************

"You should have helped your Chosen here," Suicune told the fox-like Pokemon, looking out into the vast planes.

"If he can't even make it here, then he doesn't deserve to be my Chosen," Anubial muttered back.

They could hear the Chosen's panting as he assended the cliff to where the Sacred Four were.

"At least we know he has integrity," Cheloly said, excited to meet the Chosen who walked to them. "He found us without Anubial helping him."

"But how could-" Anubial ceased his speech, for a hand had latched onto the cliff, followed by a person in his mid-teens. Taller than Drake, he had brown wavy hair that defied gravity, sticking up everywhere. His piercing brown eyes had lost no resolve, and he climbed up to where they were gathered.

His clothes were sutiable for his means. A light red jacket was draped over a white t-shirt that was splattered with dirt and sweat. His faded blue keans had stains, and his black sneakers were covered with dust. He grinned.

"Sorry Sacred Four, I didn't have time to change," Tobias began, opening with a joke.

"You," Anubial muttered, stepping foreward. "How did you find this place?"

"My eye in the sky, Swellow," Tobias answered, collasping in a heap. "I'm tired," he sighed, almost as an afterthought. "It was hard to do the research, but I finally did find you. Without help as usual."

"Welcome Tobias," Ho-oh said, as Tobias recomposed himself. "The third to get here, the last one to be Chosen."

OoC: Hope that's all right Shiny.

Really and truly
“That beam of light,” Moltres muttered, eyes fixed upon a strange, multicolored light in the sky.

“Hmm? What?” asked Rilla, looking about.

“Come, Rilla, the mighty Ho-Oh calls us.” said the fire bird simply, lowering himself so the rather short girl could climb upon his soft, feathery back.

The brunette shrugged and got onto Moltres’ back, and once he knew she was safely seated, flapped his fiery, majestic wings and took to the sky. The wind ruffled her short hair and the flairs of her jeans seemed to dance crazily, wriggling so hard she wondered vaguely if they’d be ripped off. She clutched handfuls of bright yellow feathers firmly as she stayed hunched down, hugging the fire bird’s body. She could feel the warmth emanating from his body as the mane of fire on his head flew into her face, but did not burn her.

“Here we are, the Whirlwind Plains,” Moltres finally announced. Rilla glanced down at the dead area curiously, her heart leaping into her throat as Moltres suddenly dove down at a spot where a few creatures appeared to be congregating.

The ground rushed up at them, and Rilla wondered vaguely how far her remains might splatter over the wasteland, though Moltres managed to pull up at just the right time, flying perfectly level only just above the ground until he touched down lightly, just in front of the Legendary creatures known as the Sacred Four.

Rilla jumped off Moltres, grinning almost madly as she looked up at a bird with multicolored wings, a long serpentine dragon whose white claws gleamed, a green tortoise with long leaves upon its back and a brown unicorn with pearly white wings.

Moltres bowed his head, not so much in respect but in acknowledgement.

“Moltres,” Ho-Oh said, also as if acknowledging the Legendary bird of fire.

“So, this is your Chosen, then?” asked Cheloly, inspecting the young girl.

“Yes, this is Rilla.” He replied simply, flicking his wing at her before he began preening it.

Sylvia leaned againts a wall, her mind lost deep in thought. The sunglasses flashed every now and then as the morning sun shone down on them. Under those glasses was a pair of worried eyes. Sylvia still didn´t quite understand all this. The new, evil team, the legendary beast popping out of nowhere, claiming he had chosen her. Why? From all the people in the world, why her? Her, a filthy murderer...

Her thinking was interupted by very loud crashing sound nearby. She turned to look at the direction it had came from and saw Raikou laying on the ground, apparently trippen over something. Great, from all the Legendaries, she had to get the clown...

"Nice wheather, eh?" Raikou smiled, walking up to Sylvia. The two were on the harbor of Lilycove, and the wheather was indeed beautiful. The pristine waters shone as sun shone on their surface. Sylvia got back to stand propeply and faced the Raikou.

"What? It is!" Raikou defended himself, rising his other eyebrow. Sylvia kept on staring at him trough the glasses. "What? Can you say something or at least remove those glasses? Its like I would be talking to a frozen Regirock here!" Raikou said, a large smile covering his furry face. Sylvia just simply shook her head and crossed her arms ina waiting manner.

"Look I have no idea what- oh, wait, wait! I remember! I was supposed to look for something!" Raikou cheered, jumping up and down. Sylvia rolled her eyes, but nodded anyway. "Great, great, I knew it! Um... What was it?" Raikou continued, looking around himself, eyeing all the ships on the harbor. "Was it... a fishing rod?"

Sylvia fell, and shook her head as soon as she got up.

"Um, okay then...", Raikou answered, trying to get a thoughtful expression on his face. Sylvia walked up to the beast and pointed at one of the boats. "Huh? The sea? Look, I´m powerful, but I can´t get the sea to-" Sylvia grabbed his head and turned him to face one of the boats.

"Oh... A boat!" Raikou said smiling to his cleverty. "Oh, sure, I... didn´t get one" Raikou ended with a sigh. Sylvia hit herself on head, pondering why, why in the world couldn´t she get something smarter? They had seen the beams of light just few minutes ago, and yet the glumsy beast had already forgot.

"But we don´t really need one since I can easily transport us there", Raikou continued, scrathing his head. Under the sunglasses, Sylvia had a "Then why in the world did you go looking for a ship in the first place?!" expression, but of course it was unseenable to the beast.

"Shall we go then?" Raikou asked, readying to leap. Come on! I wanna run!"
Sylvia had no idea how was it going to run on the water, neither did she have time to think that, as Raikou already grabbed her by her collar, threw her on his back and set off, running so fast that he didn´t sink in the Ocean. it seemed like he would be a lightning, traveling few feet above the water´s surface. It felt like flying.

Soon, Raikou stopped so suddenly, it caused Sylvia to fly over his shoulder onto the sand. She spat out most of the sand she had swallowed, and was still trying to get the rest out, when Raikou already pointed towards blurry characters far away.

"There. The Sacred Four. Oh, it seems Suicune is there already. And Regice. And Anubial! Oh, and Moltres too. Heh, and their chosens of course. We are the fifth ones. Great, isn´t it? They say fifth is the best, right?" Raikou cheered, hopping up and down again.

Sylvia didn´t answer, she just tried to see the small characters far away, and decided to go a bit closer so that she could hear what was going on, but not too close so she wouldn´t get too much attention. Plus, she was a bit scared of the "Sacred Four". She felt like she had done a wrong thing and was now going to get punished. But Raikou didn´t seem to have any worries at all. From the lack of thinks to do he had began chasing his tail.

OOC: I figure you should meet the human allies. Understand they're now about eighteen, so Sieg and Tila are going to be VERY close.

Three dots appeared in the sky. Ho-oh turned around and looked at them. All the fourth generation chosen were either talking among themselves, or hanging around the edge of the group. Just like when this who kafuddle began four years ago. He knew the dots very well. They came in closer, and it was clear to all proceeding that it was four people and three Pokemon, two of which Drake didn't recognise. They finally landed, revealing three boys and a girl, all in their late teens.

The tallest of them was a boy. He had a brown fishing hat on, with two feathers in it. One was all the colours of the rainbow, the other silver. He was wearing a black tracksuit, with the top open so you could read the message on his T-Shirt, "And I Care Why?". His had one hand in his pocket, and his other arm wrapped around the girl he was standing next to. Though they probably did this most of the time, they were still blushing. He also had a pair of white trainers, a large blue bag much like Drake's and a slight stubble.

The girl he had his arm round had long brown hair that went down to her shoulders, a white feather clipped into the hair, was wearing a black t-shirt and very tight jeans, as well as black shoes not suited for hiking. She had a black shoulder bag, and she was leaning close to the boy in the hat. It was quite clear they were a couple.

The second tallest of the boys had thick ginger hair, a black sweatshirt with a green badge and paw print mark on it, black tracksuit bottoms and a red and black bag. He had two Arcanine-like diamond marks on his cheeks.

The last of the group had gelled down black hair, a red sweatshirt and black trousers an trainers on, and had a small sapphire spike tied around his neck with a piece of string. He had a large green bag.

The first of the three Pokemon was a large green dragon, with orange capsules around it's eyes, blue antennae, thin paper-like wings that were green with an orange lining, and a long blue and green striped tail that ended in three diamond shapes. A Flygon, and a Shiny one at that.

The second was a Pokemon native to Astra. It was a large blue eagle, with a pair of light blue fish shaped marks over it's eyes, a thick blue coat with a red underbelly and huge wings built for long distance flights. This was called a Seagle, the fully-evolved Water starter in Astra.

The last of the Pokemon was a large black dragon. It had a crescent moon mark on either side of it's face, and two long black horns sticking out the back of it's head. It's eyes were narrow and had slit pupils, and a row of flames ran the length of it's back. It's had two large bat-like wings, but instead of skin it had flames stretched between the fingers. A Daraco, also native only to Astra, in fact this particular part of Astra.

"Ah, our chosen, Sieg Donner, Tila Blitz, Cane Lupi and Derek Hade, they are technically your superiors here, but they are currently only here to help with the bonding. Before you ask why they're older than you, we picked them four years ago. Now we'll let them say hi!" Ho-oh went, as the boy in the hat stepped forward.

“Well I guess you don’t know any of us, since we’re a region apart. I’m Siegfried Donner, though Sieg is preferred. Well as the legendaries undoubtedly told you, this is a quest to stop Team Abomination. Listen, I’ll tell you now, and you can tell the others later, this is not some hero trip. You will be fighting for your lives against TA. They are heartless psychos who will show no mercy, I should know,” he said seriously, rubbing his chest, “And don’t expect any credit for this. In actuality, this will seem to those outside the legendary circle like nothing ever happened. You will receive no kudos or congratulations from anyone except each other. But this does not make this any less important. This makes it more. In all honesty, you are going out there to defeat Team Abomination for your own reasons. This isn’t because you want to save the world, you all must and probably do have you own reason for doing this.” The girl now stepped forward,

“Well my boyfriend pretty much covered everything important here, so I’ll finish the introductions. I’m Tilana Blitz, or Tila to everyone who knows me, the ginger haired boy with terrible body odour is Cane Lupi and the black haired boy is Derek Hade. We’re your predecessors, and you won’t see much of us after this, since we have a different quest to work on. We’re only here now to help Jirachi with the bonding, and it appears we’re early, so I guess we’re waiting,” she laughed, as Sieg took her in hand and they sat down, as Drake proceeded to stare at the Shiny Flygon.

“Hey Sieg does your Flygon have a name?”

“Yeah, it’s called Nylf,”

“That’s the name of my Vibrava,”

“Yeah and it’s also the name of my old man’s Flygon as well. It’s a famous name for Flygon’s” Drake shrugged. Sieg then looked over to the girl who was with Raikou.

“Yoh loner girl, stop hiding who you are. It’s no use hiding your past from me, Tila, Cane, Derek and the legendaries, we’re all telepaths. And don’t worry, I’ve been in your shoes before, and not all humans are bad. Learn to give others a chance. If I hadn’t, none of us would be here right now,”

OOC: They aren’t my characters, they are just NPC’s who are the S4’s chosen. They are plot characters. And yes, they are morphs as well. Well they were, and later on they will be again. They have a back plot that will be mentioned occasionally, since they and the Sacred Four are closely knit. If you read NL, NH before I let it rest, you’ll recognise them. And I know I changed Sieg’s Flygon’s name, Sand was dull compared to Nylf.

Tobias noted them, and listened, but was more concerned as to why exactly he was there. "Ho-oh," he said tenativly, he wasn't sure if the legend would speak with him.

"Yes?" the pheonix asked, turning its fierce eyes to the Chosen.

"Why am I here?" Tobias asked.

"Because Anubial picked you for some reason," Ho-oh answered simply.

"Then why was I given no help like the others here?" he asked, it was true. He was the only one to get to the Sacred Four on his own, without the aid of the legends. "Why did Anubial not help me, as the other legends helped their chosen?"

"Ah, that," the pheonix chuckled. "The reason is simple their, Anubial doesn't care much for human partners. The other legendaries were a little more open minded, since the activities of a trainer I know have opened their eyes to humans. Even Anubial's met him, his name's Ash Ketchum. He's a good kid, about the same age as Sieg."

Tobias thought about the answer, before asking, "Why was I chosen? Why me, out of everyone else?"

""You'll have to ask Anubial, " Ho-oh answered, bending lower to him. "I'm clueless."

"If you don't know, then why was I chosen?"

"You will know one day," the pheonix told him. "I said ask Anubial, though he probably doesn't understand fully. You'll find out in time. I know it sucks but that's life."

"Thanks Ho-oh," Tobias said, it wasn't an answer, but it was a start. "Ho-oh?"

"Yes?" the pheonix asked again.

"Who is to lead us, is Sieg the leader?" Tobias asked, he wanted to know whom Ho-oh had chosen.

"And ruin the surprise Tobias?" Ho-oh replied winking, the ancient Pokemon knew the youth was asking. "Wait for the rest to get here."

"Thank you," the brown haired teen answered, then left the pheonix to think. "Why would I be picked with Anubial, if we don't even like each other? The others seem to have such a bond with their legends."

Sylvia had listened carefully to the older chosens, and had closed her eyes. Partly because it helped her to think, partly because seeing Raikou so hyper, digging large holes in the ground simply annoyed her.

She turned to face Raikou and was about to go and give it a slight kick to snap it back to what was going on, but she stopped as she heard someone spoke to her.

"Yoh loner girl, stop hiding who you are. It´s no use hiding your past from me, Tila, Cane, Derek and the legendaries, we´re all telepaths. And don´t worry, I´ve been in your shoes before, and not all humans are bad. Learn to give others a chance. If I hadn´t, none of us would be here right now"

Sylvia lifted her head, looking in the boy´s eyes, thoygh he didn´t know it, for the sunglasses covered her eyes. She thought of those words... Telepaths? Now that didn´t help her fear at all. Actually, she got quite shocked from the fact and took few stepd backwards, almost stomping on Raikou who was still digging holes.

Learn to give others a chance... But what good can it do? They are all the same, after all. All... she was like that too... she had killed... an act like that... shoudl never be forgotten in her book. But then the next sentence caught her attention. What did he mean? She didn´t know, but for some reason she had a weird feeling she would know sooner or later.

She weren´t sure what she should answer, nor could she speak after so many years, so she just nodded, the nodd resembling more a bow than a nodd, actually.

"Hey what are you doing chatting over there? When are we going to leave? I can´t wait to kick some badguy´s butt!" Raikou cheered, bouncing next to the two.

OOC: Will be writing in Vulcan's POV in this post.

"OI! NO GOOD LITTLE SHRIMP! I'VE GOT A JOB AND I NEED YOUR HELP!"

I opened my eyes wearily. Instantly Groundon's behavior told me it was 6 am. He was jumping like water got all over him. There was, the morning dew settling into his skin.

"BAH! MOVE IT, YOU NO GOOD LAZYBUM! I'M GETTING WET!"

Getting wet was definitely on the list on Groundon's go crazy situations since water on him just made him feel horrible. And in the first place he was already an ***hole.

"GRAAAGH! I'M WAITING TO TORTURE MY FIRST VICTIM!!!" I quickly ran for him. He was about to get convulsions if he didn't get in the earth soon, and being 6000 feet underground and under a heck lot of pressure, a convulsion would kill me outright, considering his head grazed the seiling and the width of the tunnels in the Cave of Origin wasn't that big.

I hopped on his back.

"ALL ABOARD!?" His voice boomed impatiently. I spat on him in response. Well, I was told to respond like that.

"CURSE YOU!!!!!" He screeched, dived into the earth and burrowed, making sure the water and my spit got off him. Without killing me in the process. I was lying as flat as possible on Groundon to avoid death.

Making sure that he was currently more stable, I asked, "Where are we going!?"

"That Green pile of sh*t wants me to go to his base of operations and bring you along."

"They have e-mail 6000 feet underground, I presume," I joked.

"No, just this pillar light coming right through 6000 feet above ground. ANother one, that stupid rainbow bird, think he's so smart, I could kick hios *** all the way to the moon and back if I wanted to but it wasn't worth my while, and- BWAHAHAHA! MY FIRST VICTIM!!!"

I tried to ignore every single thng as Groudon stopped and picked up a Sandslash. He tortured it for a while before swallowing it whole. After removing all its dangerous points first, of course. Then he burrowed on in silence. Well, if you count rumblings and earthqquakes from overzealous tunneling...

Soon, I felt him tunnel steeply upwards and heaved a sigh of relief. No more victims.

Almost as if mocking me, he said, "Hmm...Food count...A few hundred thousand worms, lots of soil and only one Sandslash. Pity. Lousy breakfast." I winced.

Just then, we broke through the ground. We had arrived. ANd I got off as soon as possible as I realised what was about to happen

Groundon marched up to a huge green being and vulgarly demanded breakfast while the rest present either sweatdropped or studied me. I tried to introduce myself, something I hadn't done in a long time.

"Hi, I'm Vulcan..."

"BLODIA VULCAN!!!" Groudon joked and laughed as if the joke was the funniest joke in the world while everybody just sweatdropped. And then we all faked a laugh. ANd apparently his meals had been settled.

Sal was hard at work trying to finish his latest project in time. He wanted to create something for the chosen so that they can all remember that they were part of something big in history.

“Saturn use Sand-attack and Venus use Fire spin.” Sal asked his pokemon.

The sand shot straight into a furnace. The fire spin engulfed the sand and turned it into molten glass. Sal poured the liquid glass into fourteen separate molds that he had previously made. He then had Neptune use water gun on the molds. When the glass was cooled Sal first had Saturn use another sand attack on the glass sculptures to make them smooth. He then had Titania polish the sculptures with her wings so that they were nice and shiny.

Just as he was about to look upon my work, a flash of bright light rose in the sky. Sal asked Registeel if that was the sign for all the chosen to meet the Sacred Four.

<Shiny>was all Registeel could say as his eyes widened at the beautiful sight. Sal immediately hit him with my hammer on his head to wake him up from his trance.

<What did you do that for?> Registeel wondered as he scratched the huge bump on his head.

“I said is that light the sign from the Sacred Four for all of the chosen to meet up?” Sal said furiously at the Regi.

<I am not sure but we should go see what it is anyways because it is so cool looking> replied Registeel in the very innocent tone that he always has.

“I swear if I wasn’t always around, you would forget your own name.” Sal said as he looked at the Registeel with a disappointed look on his face. “This guy is supposed to be a legend, yet he has the mentality of a four year old” thought Sal to himself. “Well, we should probably get going then huh?”

Sal returned all his pokemon except Saturn and went into the house to pack for the long journey ahead. He placed the glass sculptures into a padded red oak box that had golden edges. He then proceeded to put into his backpack about a dozen hyper potions, his collapsible bike, a couple of full heals, about ten packs of pokefood, about 20 or so pokeblocks, his pickaxe, some rope, and a couple of max repels.

When he stepped out of the house he told Registeel he had to get in a pokeball for the flight to the Whirlwind Plains because Saturn could not carry both of them. Reluctantly, Registeel agreed on the condition that he is released before they got into viewing distance of the Sacred Four and any other legendaries.

With everything in place Sal set off on the back of Saturn, with Registeel giving directions from the pokeball. The flight to the plains was nice and relaxing except for the occasional complaints from Registeel saying how much he hated being in a pokeball but as I explained to him every time, he had no way of getting to the plains himself and that is why they were flying there on Saturn and also because he was too heavy and too big for Saturn too hold while he was flying.

After what seemed like forever, Sal finally made it to the plains. At the first chance Sal got he landed and released Registeel and together they walked to the meeting place. Of course every now and then Sal had to remind Registeel the task at had because he kept on going of to explore the area every chance he got. After about an hours walk, the duo finally caught site of the Sacred Four which were probably a good 10 miles from where they were. Sal decided that since Registeel was much faster than him, that he would ride on the legendary’s back the rest of the way. They made it there in about 15 min. When Sal got there he saw some of the most amazing pokemon he has every seen. After getting over the shock of seeing the Sacred Four, he saw what he thought was the most beautiful creature on the entire planet. In a flash of light he was standing in front of the girl named Rilla, introducing himself.

“My name is Sal Reaver, and I am at your command my princess.”

Having gotten use to Sal’s antics when around women, Registeel immediately grabbed him by the ear and dragged him away with Sal having hearts floating around him and with arms stretched out to Rilla and with Registeel with a look of embarrassment on his face.

OOC: Since Groudon's such a character, as is Sal, I guess Sieg and Rayquaza should add their opinion.

Rayquaza sighed. Why had his brother made him bring along that nutter of a legendary? Groudon was about as good in these situations as a fist against a ghost. He was overconfident, forgetting Ho-oh was firsty immortal, secondly several million years older, and thirdly nearly ten times as powerful as Groudon. And he persisited in calling Rayquaza "Green ****". How the heck was anyone meant to work with that sadistic nutter?

Sieg laughed at Sal, and went over to Derek.

"Hey Derek, remind you of anyone?"

"Yeah, you around Tila,"

"Very funny Dark boy, seriously, he's a bit like you used to be,"

"Yeah, but the girls actually liked me,"

"'Cept Tila,"

"Yeah, well Tila's an individual. And a great friend,"

"I know, and an even better kisser," Sieg laughed. He knew Tila didn't mind comments like that, she knew he was always honest about anything, no matter what it was. Cane then came over, as did Tila.

"You really think they stand a chance?" she asked Sieg.

"Yeah, you're the seer here." Cane laughed.

"I can't really say, though they're journeying alone. And they need to be a team. Hard to believe it's only been four years since we all hardly knew each other," he replied.

"Yeah, I used to wonder how you could be you, now I just love you for it," Tila smiled, looking at Sieg.

"And i was just some new kid to most of you," Derek added.

"And you still are rookie" Cane added, slapping Derek on the back.

"Four years, and the only one who has changed is me," Sieg said.

"Personally I think it was for the better, though of course we were exactly like this two years ago," Cane mentioned.

"Yeah, but even without your powers, what do you think?" Derek asked Sieg.

"They always have a chance. We've just got to hope they make the right choices," Sieg said. He was loving every minute of being back in the old group, just him, Tila, Cane, Derek and the Sacred Four.

Drake stared on in awe. He'd been a trainer for only a while, but Sieg was exactly what he wanted to be.

"Something on your mind Drake?" Suicune asked.

"Oh, yeah, it's just seeing those four. I'd heard you talking about them before I got adopted, and I always thought that they're who I wanted to be like,"

"And do you still want to be like them?"

"Maybe, but hearing them talk has made me think. If they had trouble with this, what chance do I have?"

"Like they also said, you have a chance, it just depends on your choices,"

"Yeah, thanks Suicune,"

"It's s'alright, now can you believe that brother of mine?"

Regice smiled. Alex twitched. He started to summarise. Either the chosen was a weird one, or the Legendary. He sighed. "Well, are we missing anyone?" he asked through gritted teeth. Regice turned to him. "Uh, Regirock, Entei, Lugia and a couple of others, I think." He said, then suddenly smiled. "Wonder if Regirock has changed..." Alex snapped him back to reality. "Well, are we gonna do something or what?" he asked into the air. Ho-oh looked at him. Alex shivered. "Your name was Alex, hm?" he asked. Alex gulped and nodded. Regice was chuckling. "We will do something when all are here." Ho-oh said, important. "Meanwhile, I suggest you wait." Alex gulped again. "Uhm...yeah..uh, good idea." he said. Regice had given up chuckling. Now, he was laughing.

Sylvia looked at the more people coming to the place, and as she saw the Groudon popponig out of the ground and acting quite angrily, she gave a worried look to her hyper legendary friend.

"Hey, I just realized that I actually have a tail!" He cheered, smiling as he let go of his start shaped tail, so that he could catch it again. Sylvia sighed and sat on the ground, or she tried to, but at the second her bottom touched the ground, she fell in a large hole. "OMG! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU´RE DOING?!" Raikou shouted, running to the side of the hole and looking down at Sylvia.

"You realzie what you did?!" Raikou complained, causing Sylvia to want to just simply answer "Fell in your stupid pit!", but since she was incapable of that, she just snorted. "Are you okay? Please tell me you aren´t hurt..." Raikou whined at the edge of the hole. Sylvia blinked. Could that stupid beast really care about her? "Please, my precious, paw dugged hole... Say you are alright", Raikou continued, trying to hug a hole, which couldn´t be a good idea.

Within few seconds was laying on the bottom of his ah-so-precious-pit. Sylvia glared at him and began climbing out, leaving Raikou on the bottom, figuring it would be safer that way. At least, now Raikou couldn´t try and make friends with the Groudon and wound up in his stomach.

Sylvia walked away from the pit, trying to ignore Raikou´s constant complaints of the cold ground and hard rocks under him. She decided not to sat again anymore though, in fear of falling into another pit. Instead, she stood there and looked around, wondering what would the others think if they knew? Knew what she had done...

She tried to forget that now, and consentrate on looking at the sky, sea and land. After all, you never know where enemy can strike.

Power Shot

Reignited with Ego!
"Hello," came a voice from behind her. She spun around to see Tobias the loner. "Why are you alone?"

Sylvia didn't answer, instead waving to indicate she didn't want to speak to him.

"I just like to know people I work with," Tobias answered. "Sorry for being rude, I've never really been around people that I could talk to."

"At least your legend is friendly, mine won't even talk to me," Tobias continued, trying to get her to talk a little.

Sylvia turned around slowly, her eyes flashing. A fist was forming.

"Sorry," Tobias mumbled, before returning to the rock he was sitting on. "I can understand everyone hating me, I'm not familiar with being around other."

"I guess," he said as an afterthought, he felt guilty for bothering the girl like that. "Something bad must have happened to her." He looked at her for a moment, then turned his attenton to his own mind.

OOC: Um, I just thought I should correct one thing, Power Shot. Sylvia can´t actually talk. She tried to hide her voice for a long time, many years, actually. And not talking in that many years made her to become like mute. She is afraid to talk, and not sure how she should do it. So, could you please edit your post a bit? Instead of sentences, she expresses herself with "body language". Man, I hate that word... ^_^;

Eh anyway, I´ll edit my post to have Sylvia´s "afterthoughts" of the scene once you edit yours. For now, this post is just about Raikou. Oh, by the way, I think you should make a discussion thread in the RPG Cafe, Shiny Flygon, to prevent too much OOCness. Yeah, like I´m the one to talk... *Looks at her long OOC post*

IC:

Raikou sat on the bottom of the pit, complaining to the rocks for being too hard for him to sit on. "You know, you could really loosen up a bit. Why try to act though and hard? You know, I could take you on anytime. I´m big and scary and... well you are a rock!" Raikou threatened the poor thing. "Yeah, and you really should be scared!" he continued and moved away from the rock, trying to get himself up from the pit.

"And you there! What are you staring at? Haven´t seen a Pokémon this handsome before? Well, I understand that. I´m just so cool! Won´t you agree?" Raikou had found himself another object to talk to, this time a root, sticking out from the pit´s wall.

Finally getting up he stared at a boy walking away from Sylvia. "So, who´s the guy? A friend of yours?" Raikou asked, bouncing up and down again.

Michael was lazily sitting against a tree with his travelling pack beside him, watching his Pokemon spread their wings, claws, paws, and fins. His eyes wandered to the ice legendary, Articuno, whose eyes were transfixed to the sky.

"Hm?" Curious, Michael's head tilted up and he got a good view of the sky, lit beuitifully by a rainbow of color.

"It is a sign," Articuno told him, "that the legendaries are to meet."

Michael raised a brow to question, but stood up and grabbed his backpack. "Meet? Where?"

The blue ice bird sighed and said, "Just return your Pokemon. I'll be bringing you there."

Michael obediantly obeyed, grabbing six pokeballs from his belt and returning his six Pokemon in a red haze. Articuno than let Michael get on her feathery back and he did, after some exachanges of pointless questions and answers. (Such as "How long will it take?" or "Should I use my sleeping bag as a cushion? Cause if it takes a while, I want to be comfy.")

They were off in the air, dancing with the clouds, seconds later.

"Hey Articuno!" Michael shouted over the wind as it pushed against his hazel hair. Articuno showed no sign of hearing him. "HEY ARTICUNO!" He repeated, this time louder.

"What?" Articuno asked in an annoyed tone.

"Who's going to be at where ever we're going?"

"The other chosen morphs, their respective legendaries, and Jirachi are guarenteed to be there. There's also a possibility that the other legendary, the other generations of legendaries, will be there." Articuno answered.

"Seriously?! Wow..." Michael answered, astonished that he'd have the oppurtunity to meet other legendary Pokemon spoken as myths by adults.

"Yes. Ah, we're here." The ice legendary began to descend from the sky. Michael's eyes were glued to the island immediately and he saw, with excitement in him, that there were figures on the island. Human figures and Pokemon. Slowly, the ground began to grow bigger until it was only a few feet from Michael's eyes.

"Get off." Articuno ordered minutes after they landed when she realized that Michael was too transfixed by the legendaries to move.

"Huh? Oh, sorry about that Articuno!" Michael quickly jumped off the bird and looked at the legendaries.

He swallowed before saying, "hi, I'm Michael." to the crowd of legendaries and humans.

OOC: Sorry for being late... (-.-)...

"C'mon Entei... the clouds are so nice! Don't you wanna see them?" I asked the brown beast beside me. He was none other than Entei, the Legendary Beast Of Fire. Even until now, I still can't get over why he wanted to follow me, Lucifer Elemental, a guy who just likes to kick back, relax and enjoy the clouds. Entei didn't reply, but only contiuned dozing behind me. I sighed and tuened back. Really, Entei sure didn't know how to relax. I looked up at the blue sky which sparkled over my bright red eyes, the green grass I was lying was so soft like fluffy clouds, and I could just fall asleep any moment, which I was about to do, when suddenly Entei stood up.

"Hmm... What's up, Entei?" I inquired, yawning and sitting back up. He didn't respond, but looked up into the sky. "So you wanna look at em' clouds too?" I asked, looked up, and gasped.

The blue sky was no longer blue, but lit with a beautiful rainbow-like colour. It was magnificent. I grinned. This had yo be the greatest day ever!

"We must go, Lucifer," said Entei, crouching for me to get on. "That Rainbow is Master Ho-Ho's sign for all fourteen of us to meet him,"

"Well, all right, big guy," I said, shrugging. I took my pouch and slung it over my shoulder, hopped onto Entei, and took off into the blue yonder, lit by a glourious rainbow.

Along the way, something clicked in my mind. "Ya mean there's thirteen other people besides me?" I asked the Beast Fire Legend. "Yes, Lucifer," he paused for a while to catch his breath, then contiuned. "Besides me, there's Suicane, Raikou, the three Birds, the Regis, the Lati's, the eternal foes: Kyogre and Groudon and finally Anubial," he finished as we reached an island. I could see a couple of people and pokemon as well. I grinned. Well, at least I wasn't alone.

"Entei, ya mean here's the place we're gonna meet?" I asked again as he landed. Entei didn't reply, but just turned to me and frowned. I sorta took that as a 'yes'. I looked up at the sky and saw the most beautiful clouds I ever saw. Well, at least this place ain't that bad.

OFF: I hope I'm not too late...

"Why? Why must I be bonded?" Latios's voice pierced throught the air.

"I hate you. You're nothing but a heartless monster and altought I know you will not break my promise... it doesn't change the fact that you're the one who almost enslaved Mew!" the blue dragon-like bird continued to whine on and on...

Selven kept on walking... all this felt... so unreal... An evil, undead Pokemon trainer who had served Team Abomination of his own free will about to be bonded with an undead Legendary Pokemon who was his total opposite...

Evil... he tried for years to fight this fact... the fact that he had been Team Abomination's pawn.

He could still feel it... it's touch... it's pure, raw touch of evil...

They had told him that Mewtwo was born of Light... that he was not raw and pure... and yet, everytime he stared in his purple eyes, he could see his whole body covered in purple flames... the burning spirit... burning throught him... the Devil Pokemon... the true leader of Team Abomination.

The others didn't knew... they didn't knew of the true form of Team Abomination. Team Abomination... was not a criminal organisation like Team Rocket, Magma, or Snagem...

Team Abomination was bent on erasing every ounce of Light within this world... bent on erasing everything positive. They didn't cared for money, for power... only for spreading their darkness everywhere.

He and all of his Pokemon had been bathed in the Devil Pokemon's "Light"... they had all been consumed by the hatred... they had became one with him, his desires becoming theirs... and if Mewtwo had not came to stop him... he didn't wanted to know what would have happened to Mew...

Mew... what made her so... weak? She was supposed to be his opposite... and yet, she was small, helpless... what could she do? What could everyone do? He still couldn't understand how Team Abomination could be defeated in the first place... but least of all, he couldn't understand Mewtwo, the Legendary Pokemon of Darkness.

He and the Devil Pokemon were only one person... and yet, Mewtwo served the Legendary Council, helping against Team Abomination. Why? Why do he, who is pure Darkness, helps Light to fight his own kind?

... but then, he and his Pokemon weren't much better...

"SIGH! I wish they could have given me someone... ANYONE else! I mean... a total stranger would have been better than you!" Latios's face was so terrible...

"HEY! Cut it out!" that was from a small black bird Pokemon wearing a hat... a Murkrow.

Latios rolled his eyes. "What do a little commoner like you, Regis, know of that man? He was possessed by the Darkness! He sold his Pokemon to the Devil Pokemon for power and wielded the forbidden technologies! Even Celebi's latest incarnation admitted it! They chose him not becease he was fit... but becease he was the only choice!"

The Murkrow was about to lash foward and teach that Latios a lesson, Legendary Pokemon or not!... but he felt the cold touch of metal on his shoulder... and seen his trainer and his gigantic black, clawed metal glove...

"He is... right." stated the trainer.

Regis stood there... "Right?!? He is right?!? He only seen your old self! He only seen your blackened spirit! I travelled with you! I seen your hatred vanish... your love and care rising and overcoming your pride!"

The trainer closed his single eye... and the bandages covering his right eye were tainted red... blood red... "Maybe... but the Darkness remains, still. This body... is a remainder of the evil which once flowed throught my veins..."

Regis calmed down and turned toward the large bird Pokemon, Latios... "Just... be a little less harsh, alright? We're trying our best... we fight the Darkness with all of our power..."

Latios sighed loudly. "What have I got myself into? So much angst... and I'm still not allowed to see my sister... and she is going to get bonded too! Why do we MUST bond? Can't we act on our own? I gave my life for humans! I fought all by myself... and becease a human wasn't enslaving me, it doesn't count for anything?!? What did I do to Mew for this?!? WHY MUST I BE BONDED?!?"

Regis raised an eyebrow. "So... THAT is your true problem... you do not truly think that Selven is evil... you're just frustrated becease that even though you're Legendary, people see you as nothing more than a tool to be used by humans."

Latios frowned... a tool... that's what he has always been.

He hated Team Abomination... but man do he understood their motives! He loved this world... he loved feelings such as hapiness and love... and he loved his sister... even a bit too much even... but he hated this world's inhabitants. The hypocritical humans... the mindless Pokemon... but most of all, the other Legendary Pokemon.

As a Fourth Generation Pokemon, he was a slave, a servant. He had been cursed wth merely five centuries of life while the others lived for over ten millenias... and of course, Ho-oh and Mew enjoyed never-ending life, Ho-oh not aging and Mew simply killing her present body and creating herself a new one whenever the old one grew too old.

But he... was forced to live merely five times as much as a mere human... and even worse, everyone bossed him around! Humans saw him as nothing but an addition to their team and Legendary Pokemon used him to do all the dirty work while they remained safely behind... and never, ever do he get recognition for anything.

He gave his life to protect lives... and the Legendary Pokemon only spoke of replacing him! He is expendable! He's just a Latios! He hates his name! He hates this world! HE HATES EVERYONE AND MEW MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE!!!

Large purple flames errupted out of Latios's body and his eyes grew red for a second...

Regis, him, grinned. "Yeah right... You're soooo much better than us, isn't it? That's the reason they didn't let you in the after-life... becease you're nuts."

Latios turned to the small Murkrow. That Murkrow... he hated him becease he remainded him of how useless he was. Even mortals were better than Fourth Generation Legendary Pokemon... for at least, they enjoyed being unique. When he would die, people would make a grave with his name carved on it and say that he was totally, definitely dead... but not Latios.

He was a body, a mere vessel, a tool. Latios hated them! He hated them all! He gave his life for them and what did he got in return? NOTHING!... not even a mention. Tears rolled down his cheeks... and the most painful image arrived in his mind...

...

"I'm... I'm dying..." Latios lied on his back, mortally wounded, while Latias watched, her beautiful eyes filled with tears...

"Don't worry... we will meet again..." Latias said, fighting her tears...

Latios closed his eyes... yes... sadly, their lifespans were short... they would meet again... "You are right... for we are mortal..."

Latias shook her head. "You will... be reborn soon... I know it..."

Latios's eyes widened and he felt a feeling, like a blade, piercing throught his heart and freezing his entire body as his mind learnt the true meaning of the word... pain...

...

"Chicko! Chick..." Lelia said in Pokemon language...

"Lelia..." Regis closed his eyes. Lelia was right to pity Latios... he who had no name. He was simply "Latios", one of many, just one incarnation throught an endless amount.

Pain... the entire party was entirely made of creatures who knew of this meaning...

Latios... who is expendable and knows it... he who only wished to be unique and yet, even in his acts, was denied mention... he who remains unknow, he who only remains a Latios among others...

Regis, the Murkrow... he who wanted knowledge... he who thirst for knowledge... and sold his soul for it... and he who realised that in the end, he knew nothing and lost everything for this knowledge of his own ignorance.

Lelia... Selven's starter Pokemon and the only one who remained loyal to him. Interspecie love is a common thing for Pokemon... and even unions between Legendary Pokemon and commoners are allowed... but there is one union that is forbidden... and it is the union of a human and a Pokemon. Madly in love with her trainer, she was ready to do anything for him to notice... and ended up accepting to sell her soul and enter the Darkness in hope of her love noticing her...

Liquid Worm... he who had a dream... a dream of flight. His body, barely able to move, always filled him with sadness despite his near invincibility... and when Team Abomination offered him flight for his soul... he gave up everything to pursue his dream.

Roleo... an Ekans who had been raised by Glalies and always wished to be able to imitate their Sheer Cold attack... to be like his adoptive parents... but never could due to his specie. When Team Abomination came, his mind was turned to pure ice and his soul disappeared, as he accepted to serve them...

Julia... a small Nidoran who feared death... feared it more than anything. She knew of Celebi for she had been born in the Ilex Forest... and seeing her entire family claimed by death, she blamed Celebi for it all... and joined Team Abomination in hope of killing Celebi herself, giving the Pokemon Grim Reaper a taste of her own medecine.

SMP-001... a Porygon created by the doomed syndicate, Cypher. Freed when the syndicate collapsed, the Shadow Pokemon wished for a purpose... any purpose... and Team Abomination gave him one...

Selven himself... wanted to catch and use the strongest Pokemon... Mew. The one who doomed all the others... his soul was not sold to the Devil Pokemon... there was no use for it. He had been so tainted by the time he reached Mew that the Devil Pokemon's very power flowed throught his veins... and if Mewtwo hadn't come and hadn't cutted the link between him and the Darkness Incarnate, Mew would have been doomed... and as a punishment for his crimes, Selven's form was turned to that of a horrific abomination...

All of them, exept for Latios, had been fooled by the promises of the Devil Pokemon... and all of them continued to serve him of their own free will, even when they learnt that the Darkness had fooled them, pursuing hopeless dreams...

All of them were tainted... and all of them remained tainted. Altought the Darkness had left their bodies, they remained Shadow Pokemon, their auras of darkness burning brightly... and Latios, in his anger, joined them... and so did the human, throught his twisted, evil desires.

All bound throught hatred they once were... now, all bound throught the desire for forgiveness.

Selven knew he was responsible for such atrocities... and as such, he would make up. He wouldn't wait to be purified... he would do so himself. Actions spoke louder than a changed aura... and as such, despite his barely human figure, he hunts down evil...altought he knows that he still one of them.

The fact that the Legendary Pokemon chose him made a little bit easier... but Latios was right. He may be a Chosen... but only becease the Legendary Pokemon had no choice. He was not fit to be a Chosen... but his only opportunity at salvation was to accept this title and grow into someone worthy of the title!

His Pokemon, likewise, still pursued their dreams... but now served a greater ideal. They had no faith in Mew... they had lost it long ago... but they had faith in the belief that it was right to be good... that it was right to make up for their crimes. Shadow Pokemon they may be... but they will still bring Light everywhere.

The Devil Pokemon fooled them and used them... and now, they will show him that he was wrong! That they were not evil! Darkness... but evil? No! Not evil! Evil was purged of their hearts... and that, even if Mew and Ho-oh denied it!

Latios stared at the Pokemon and the trainer... despite his harsh, hurtful words... the Pokemon and the human had quickly recovered, their resolve strong.

Maybe they weren't worthless after all... maybe they were like him after all, ready to give up everything for a greater cause...

Latios... was sad... sad to see the Legendary Pokemon in such a state... the vision... he could not never forget it... the vision that caused him to change and revolt.

He knew that he was not the first... but he had never gave it much tought, simply obeying his superiors and spending his time with his sister whenever he had the time... an innocent life of mindless servitude for Mew...

Mewtwo... he always hated him. Lugianti at least, knew that he was Darkness and felt sorry, sincerely sorry, hoping every day of his waking life that he could be purifed... but Mewtwo assumed his place as pure Darkness.

How could one assume to be Darkness? People said that Mewtwo was not pure, unlike Lugianti, that he was a Darkness born out of Light... but he sincerely doubted it.

Mewtwo... could not be a true clone. From her DNA he was born... but the end result was her polar opposite. Furthermore, he had the same aura, the same soul... the same touch that the Devil Pokemon. He had the same control over emptiness, the same control over Darkness... he too could become one with everyone's hatred, fear, despair... he too could taint a Pokemon with a mere touch and corrupt people with a stare. Mewtwo... always was and will always be the Devil Pokemon in disguise to him... and the worst was that he didn't apologised for his evil nature! No, he had the nerve to be proud!... and altought he claimed that Mew was both a sister and a mother to him... he seen how he acted... his subtle references... his subtle hints... how he laughed around her... how he looked at her... and how Mew was always giving him the weird impression that she knew of it...

He hated him... and he hated Mew for liking the Darkness he was rather than seek to destroy him. Why did she accepted Mewtwo here? Why did she accepted this monster?

The more he hated Mewtwo... the least he listened to orders... and this worried the superior Legendary Pokemon. They told him that it was not his place to question the order... to question the council... but he did.

Finally, Mewtwo grew sick of this bird Pokemon hating and talking against him... and it was then that Mewtwo brought him to a forgotten cave...

"You will know your place." Mewtwo had said, pointing to the skeletons covering the floor...

... and Latios saw... himself... thousands of himself... thousands bodies... and Mewtwo grinned evilly, his whole fur turning purple... and soon, he was a being of pure darkness... he was no longer a cat... he was a black cloak, a dark veil, a thick myst of negative feelings... and as he covered the cave with his powers, Latios saw thousands of souls... thousands identical souls... the Latios who had lived throught history.

"You're one of many. You are expendable... Mew and I are not. Now that you know your inferiority... You will stop bothering us and obey!... or, if you aren't completely worthless... you will stop bothering and do something about this. Now... please stop giving me a headache and leave, at once!" said the big cat Pokemon...

This vision... changed him forever. Never has he looked at life in the same light...

At first, he tought Mewtwo to be truly the Devil Pokemon in disguise... to be an evil force corrupting the council... but the more he looked at him... the more he begun to notice that this was not the case...

Mewtwo believed in the future... he who once liked destiny so much... hated it with a passion. He believed in technology over magic... into free choices over a set path... and was hated for it. His machines were constantly labelled unholy and he was barely accepted in the council. Worse, depsite being unrelated to her, it was a fact, Mew treated him like a child... and he seen Mewtwo grow frustrated and angered from it... angered from seeing his heart being denied the right to feel the only positive feeling that this world inspired him... this dirty, corrupted world by the over-sized ego and arrogance of a gang of worthless Legendary Pokemon who were no better than Team Abomination. No wonder it was so hard to choose between Light and Darkness... when both were just as evil.

Latios... became disgusted of the other Legendary Pokemon... and realised that he was not even the true brother of his sister... that it was a label that was assigned to him merely becease the first Latios was a brother of the first Latias. He was not unique... he was not considered important. He was nothing but yet another body of Latios, his soul being an illusion.

Latios decided to revolt by openly supporting Mewtwo and by taking advantage of the fact that Latias was not his true sister... but Latias was so stuck-up... so immobile. She was like he used to be... blinded by tradition and immobile mentally.

She denied his love and her own instincts merely becease of a label that was not even true... she judged him based merely on estethics and not according to principles and actions... his life became a nightmare...

Latios wanted not to be a puppet... he wanted to no longer be "Latios"... but a true, unique Pokemon... and for this, he would have to serve neither the Legendary Pokemon, neither the humans!

Latios refused to see any human, refused all bonds... and travelled the world. He saved thousands of souls, fought directly and by himself, without humans, and even comitted the sin of showing himself in the open for all Pokemon and humans to see.

Then, in the end, he gave his life to save an island full of humans and Pokemon. Altought he died, he died happy, knowing that it was impossible for people to deny that he was unique... and knowing that Latias would cry his death... and not the death of a faceless brother.

... but his wish didn't came true. He was granted access to the after-life in exchange for giving up on his beliefs, who were judged "corrupted" by the Legendary Pokemon... but he told Mew to shover her offer where the sun doesn't shine, as the stupid frutrated and stuck-up monster she was. Mew simply replied by denying him access to the after-life, telling him that she would wait as long as necessary...

... and now, here he is... alongside other sinners like him, serving someone he hates. He tought that the human and the commoners were lucky... unlike him, they know nothing of the corruption among the Legendary Pokemon... nothing of their flawed ideals and immobile principles, they who judge according to the aura and not according to the soul.

Still... he had sensed a bit of hope which had convainced him of serve Mew once again...

The Legendary Pokemon were vile... but as long as Legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo, who care nothing of the circumstances of one's birth, humans like Selven, who will not let Darkness get in their way as they try to bring good to the world, and Pokemon like Regis, who ignored the aura and looked only at the soul... then he will have faith in the future.

Mew... agreed to allow him to be reborn and to love his "sister" should he succeed... and he will use it to make Mew regret her decision! He will shower Latias with true, sincere love and shatter her immobile mind, allowing her to become herself. They will both stop being "Latios" and "Latias", they will both free themselves of dependance on humans and Legendary Pokemon... and will truly become themselves! He shall be know not as a "Latios"... but as THE Latios, the one and only who was born at a specific date, died at a specific date, accomplished great deeds, and was the dedicated lover of THE Latias!

"Chickori! Rita! Ri!" Lellia was happy for some reason...

Selven raised an eyebrow and turned to his Murkrow... "Traduction, please?"

"She said those words exactely: "Well... he definitely seems calmer... I think he got over his angsty phase."" the small bird Pokemon explained to his trainer.

Selven nodded and turned toward the horizon... the figures of the Legendary Pokemon were visible.

Selven stared at himself... his trenchcoat and pants hiding his bandages-covered frame. His large, clawed mechanical gloves hid his three-fingered fingers and his large boots hid his disformed feet. The trenchcoat also hid his unnaturally skinny arms while his pants hid his unnaturally strong and oddly-shaped legs. As for his face... he no longer had any hair and only his left, ocean blue eye was visible. A large spot of blood covered the bandages at the place where his right eye was... and the eye was there... but constantly cried tears of blood as a symbol of his crimes.

Truly... he looked more like the kind of guy that would serve Team Abomination than a Chosen and that, despite having Latios following him. Furthermore, he was seemingly late, many Chosen being already there...

Lellia, his Chickorita, was afraid. She couldn't believe it... she was in front of all of the gods and goddesses she had worshipped for her entire life! Would Jirachi remember that she forgot to mention him in her prayer yesteyday? Would Mew be angry at her for mispelling her name during that same prayer?... and most of all, how will they all react, seeing a Shadow Pokemon... or at least, a Pokemon with the aura of one?

She slowly approached her trainer and placed herself on her hindlegs. Then, she hugged his left leg, seeking to be comforted by him... but he didn't need to do anything. His warmth calmed her and she relaxed quickly... and even started smiling, blushing...

Liquid Worm, him, simply noticed so many flying and floating Legendary Pokemon... and became jealous! "NOT FAIR! WHY DO THEY GET TO FLY?!?" he screamed in Pokemon language... and soon, realising he had yelled at gods, he hid in his shell and shaked in terror... "I'm... I'm... I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" he whispered...

Regis him, simply kneeled before the Legendary Pokemon... "We have arrived, great Legendary Pokemon!" he announced.

Roleo and Julia, them, stared at the Legendary Pokemon... and then smiled. As long as the the snake Pokemon and the Nidoran were together, it didn't mattered in what situation they were... and they both started blushing.

SMP-001 slowly floated up to the eye level of Mew and remained there, floating, emotionless... "SMP-001 reporting. Awaiting orders." his robotic voice echoed...

Latios, him, looked around, trying to locate his sister... but could not see her anywhere.

"Where is Latias? She's going to be forced into a stupid merge, isn't it?" his voice... was filled with defiance. He was seriously annoyed, seeing that arrogant fool Ho-oh and he wished to make the phoenix just as annoyed as he was.

Selven turned to Latios... "Look... I, too, don't understand why it is ABSOLUTELY needed when you would clearly do better alone... which is the same for Rukario obviously." he said, pointing at the blue Pokemon who was staring angrily at his Chosen...

Latios grinned. At least, a SINGLE Legendary Pokemon here wasn't completely brain-dead, acting like a puppet in the hands of Mew and Ho-oh.

Regis turned to Latios... "You know... I know that merging is stupid for Pokemon as independant as you are... but what about Pokemon like the Regis Golems, who can't even have toughts of their own?... or what about your sister? According to what you told us, her brain is made at 99% of empty space!"

Latios's face turned red with anger. "Do NOT question me, little commoner!"

Selven grinned and acted in a fakely-innocent way... "Look! It's so strange! Latios doesn't care about ranks when things go his way... but when people show him the flaws in his logic, he starts using his rank as a Legendary Pokemon as a justification!"

Latios turned even more red... but this time with embarassment. Knowing that protesting or apologising would make him look like an idiot, he tried to, at least, not shatter what little honor he has left himself...

Selven turned to Ho-oh, his smile hidden under his bandages... "I am here. Now... let's get this over with. Neither you, neither I, neither Latios likes this... but it must be done... well, you're forcing us to do so... so just make it quick, okay?"

Regis turned to his trainer, frowning. "They are Legendary Pokemon! Show respect!"

Selven's expression changed... but the change couldn't be seen. "If even half of what Latios told me is true... then I have no reason to show them any respect... and I would prefer if this would be done quickly, without any rituals or anything... Team Abomination isn't slowing down just for rituals to be performed according to traditions after all!"

Regis rolled his eyes... this will not end well...

Memories in the Rain
I was still daydreaming away when a voice broke through my thoughs, saying: "They are Legendary Pokemon! Show respect!" The voice seemed to come from a pokemon; it was a bit too noisy to be human. I turned to see a Murcrow squabbling with a blue Eon dragon. I gasped. It was Latios...? I recalled Entei's words...

"Besides me, there's Suicane, Raikou, the three Birds, the Regis, the Latis, the eternal foes: Kyogre and Groudon and finally Anubial,"

So that meant that LAtios was still alive... I put on a grin and walked up to its friend, who was facing Ho-Oh, and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Um, Hi pal. Name's Lucifer. What's yours?" I asked, contiuning to grin happily at him. No matter what people look like, no matter what sin they commit, humans are humans, and everyone has a reason for doing what they want.

Everyone.

Selven turned to see Lucifer...

"Hi... My name is Selven. If you don't know me... then maybe you should not know anything else than my name." Selven... didn't wanted him to know who he truly was...

Regis turned to face the human. "Heh! Non-sense! Ask your assigned Legendary Pokemon who is the human who looks like Mewtwo and he'll explain everything!"

A huge, crimson spot appeared where Selven's right eye should be as his anger came out under the form of a stream of blood tears. "REGIS!"

Selven begun to shake... oh great Mew... what was Lucifer going to say? He knew that he was basically considered the most evil human in the whole world... perhaps even on par with Team Abomination's leader! He had nearly enslaved Mew and sold the souls of all of his Pokemon just the power to do so!

Truly... his opportunity to obtain a new friend has been smashed down, thanks to that noisy Murkrow!
