Meteos: Thiranova's Mystery

Foo Fighter

Nostalgia is my pal
Meteos: Thiranova’s Mystery. (PG-13 for swearing, killing and drinking.)

Thirty one planets circled a star. Living side by side, they each had they’re own species and history. Some were covered in technology, while others were covered in forests. Some were thriving in life, others desolate. It was a peaceful co-existence. However, things would not stay this way for long. The Lastars noticed it first. The sun was dimming, glowing less and less each day. Then the star burst open and revealed its true identity, Meteo! A sentient planet with a horde of comet like meteos blocks at its command. The planets all stared in awe at the giant planet. A large ring of what appeared to be block was circling planet Meteo. Panic broke out on all the planets, what was going to happen? Then Meteo took it's meteos and unleashed them! Hell was rained down upon the system as meteos crashed into every planet. The meteos were extremely heavy with no way to move them the planets would eventually collapse under their own weight! Planets were on the edge and no one had a solution. Then. on the planet of Geolyte, a great discovery was made! When three meteos block of the same color were lined up next to each other they would blast right back into space! The Geolytes had one hope, the Metamo Ark. The Metamo Ark was a secret project that the government had been working on for years. All of the top engineers were loaded onto the Ark and flew from planet to planet, helping each one overcome the threat of destruction. Along the way eight natives from different planets joined the Metamo Ark to help. The journey was long and hard, and everyone was exhausted, but they wouldn't give up. They would fight for their solar system! When finally the Metamo Ark had saved each planet, it travelled to the culprit Meteo. The Metamo Ark engaged in a fierce battle, pushing Meteo’s own destructive blocks right back onto it. Meteo was desperate. It called upon its whole meteos as power, and divided each of it's meteos blocks by zero! Division by zero is impossible, yet Meteo had done it. This caused a total rip in space to occur, sucking planet Meteo and the Metamo ark into another dimension! The Metamo Ark crash landed on a dense forest world, along with a piece of the surviving planet Meteo. Only nine people had survived the crash. The driver of the Ark, Fenry, And the eight natives that had boarded the Metamo Ark to help defeat Meteo. The piece of Meteo transformed it self into a fully living being. Meteo then set about making it's escape. Meteo knew Thiranova would hold the key. Thiranova was the only link to the other solar system, if meteo could find a way to get their he would be able to once again set about his destruction of the galaxies. However, Meteo does not know of the nine beings that survived the Metamo Arks crash. You are one of the nine beings that joined on the Metamo Ark. You must adapt to the new worlds you are about to face. Will you choose to split up? Will your whole team stick together? Will you join Meteo and betray your team? These are the decisions you must make. Remember, Every decision has a consequence. Every planet has a secret. Every power has a danger.

Welcome to Meteos: Thiranova’s Mystery. This an RPG based off of the game called Meteos(Although it's not really like the actual game) The exciting puzzle game of interstellar proportions. You will choose one race, and one class from the list below. Your main goal in this RPG is to escape the alternate dimension you’ve been pulled into. However, there are many ways to do so, and every way will make the RPG end differently. Ultimately affecting the next (Hopefully) RPG.

Classes
Engineer: This is your tech class. It focuses on protecting your squad from danger and disabling enemies. They are almost a necessity to your squad, if you ever split up in groups make sure every group has at least one engineer. If you get stuck without one than get ready for the fight of your lives. Engineers can eventually learn to: Create weapons. Make shields for your companions. Slow enemies down with booby traps. They can even learn how to drive spaceships! Note: This is not a complete list, it is only a small representation of what this class is capable of.

Biological: This class is very unique. Biological classes always get their powers from their own species. Ex. A Biological Forter would gain an increase in jumping ability at level 2 as a passive effect. It is a very specialized class that always tailors directly to your character. Note: If you finish the RPG with a Shade character or Engineer character and you want to play again, you are allowed to add this as a sub class to your character.

Shade: Shades are dark beings who draw from the power of fear to use powers. Shades are great deceiving enemies with cunning proposals. Shades can also gain psychic abilities, such as limited telekinesis on objects AND people.(Throwing people off cliffs is a useful talent.) Shades also gain stealth abilities later on in their leveling. With all these strengths, shades have one major downfall. They are exceptionally weak and usually need to stay back and in cover to avoid being hit.

Planets and species. (Planets and species left out are unplayable. Don’t ask.)
Anasaze
This wild planet has a thin atmosphere, making life harsh. Anasazeans can go days subsisting on a tiny bit of water. Anasazeans have amazingly high defenses.

Bavoom
Fierce winds cut through the dense atmosphere of this barren planet. The Bavoomians live on the wind currents. This race has the ability of limited flight.

Boggob
The warlike people of this swampy planet must fight for life in an ecosystem teeming with predators. Boggobs are amazingly agile in fights.

Brabbit
A collage of colored gas hangs over this planet. Brabbiters are sentient gas beings and amazing shape-shifters. Brabbiters have the ability of limited levitation.

Cavious
A massive cavern stretches deep below this planet. The stubborn Caviousians can use their heads as rock hammers. Caviousian’s hammer heads are utterly destructive in fights.

Dawndus
This planet boasts a perpetual state of either dawn or dusk. The insomniac Dawndusians like to feign sleep. Dawndusians have great endurance.

Firim
This incandescent planet burns from within and rotates at high speed. The Firimes can command lava flows at will.

Forte
The timid Forters—renowned jumpers—live in the deep surface cracks of this liquid- and plant-free planet. Forter’s ability to jump make them exceptional in scavenging in mountainous regions.

Freaze
Chilling blizzards ravage this icy orb. Freazers are more matter than organism, and enjoy sliding their bulk over ice. Freazers are a dull race, they can feel little pain.

Globin
Globin's structure is much like a living body, and its people distribute nourishment and repel invaders. Globins have the ability of limited levitation and poison attacks.

Grannest
This planet thrives on industry, which has sullied its environment and forced the native machines into space. Grannests have limited levitation and can become excellent engineers.

Hotted
The intense heat of Hotted makes the iron-rich rocks on its surface shine. Hotteds are savage... but dutiful. Hotteds are excellent at strategic planning.

Jeljel
This molten orb is covered in viscous, gooey magma that Jeljellians can fuse with. They are a very lonely race. Jeljellians can use their loneliness as a powerful rage attack.

Layazero
It's unclear whether this holographic planet is real or an illusion. Layazeroes draw strength from holographic designs. Layazeroes are amazing stealth units.

Megadom
Most of this planet is covered in dense gas that makes the natives—who live on a floating island—eternal optimists. Megadoms are usually very peaceful, but when needed they can use deadly gasses to attack the enemy.

Suburbion
This tiny, man-made space suburb is home to a bellicose race whose home planet was destroyed by constant warfare. Surburbions are extremely advanced and carry laser gun weapons.

Yooj
A thunderhead of monstrous size hangs over this sphere. As a result, Yoojics can only think big. Yoojics have limited flight abilities which go beyond the levitation of other species.

The species appearances. Every specie is unique you can find them on the page below.

Leveling
Leveling is simple. I will occasionally post in the actual thread with a twist or an enemy update. If I feel you have made good posts and helped the team I will level you up in OOC parentheses. I will then send you a PM concerning your new abilities. This means people who post with grammar mistakes and length problems will not get leveled up. This is done to keep quality up in the RP.

Battles
Battles are pretty simple. Use your powers to protect your team and attack your enemies. I command the enemies, but obviously you can knock them down, stab em’ and all that jazz. Your enemies are pretty diverse so be ready for anything. If you get hit by an enemy I will decide in my post the consequence. (ex. No powers for 4 posts. Broken leg. etc.)
