This game is awsome you get to shoot and destroy aleins it's so cool !

you can discuss anything about Metroid Prime here and games that have Samus in them.

Yeah, ok!
Metroid Prime is one of my favorite games of all time.

That has to do with me being a huge Metroid fan though, and Super Metroid for SNES is in fact my favorite game of all time.

Prime 2 rocked as well, here's hoping Prime 3 kicks ***.

Better then you
I happen to own both of the Prime games. I think they are 2 of the best games of all time. I will soon own MPH for the DS this month.(maybe) I really like the beams in the first Prime game, why because you get an unlimited amount of ammo. Unlike the second Prime you get a certain amount of ammo.

Metroid Prime is what got me into Metroid, and thus far is the only game I've tried speed running, though nothing SDA worthy. I liked Metroid Prime more than 2 because of the varied worlds and more useful weapons, though it did get kinda old.

I still need to play that Hunters demo again. I plan to get the Wi-Fi USB Adaptor for Hunters, then I'll play as Noxus.

I have Prime and Echoes, and they're both incredible games. The graphics are superb, and the plot is solid in both of them.

Dark Samus was a great addition to Echoes. It only appears every now and then, but when it does, you know cataclysmic events are about to happen, which is always exciting for me. I rather like when the two stand still and just eye each other down. And then the ending of Echoes. Dark Samus crawling up to Samus with the final dregs of her power...Excellent. Dying right as she was about to make contact with Samus was a cool, dramatic touch. Then there was the secret ending....Which, though, it wasn't any longer than 20 seconds(I doubt it was even that long), was quite interesting and gives me high hopes ofr Prime 3.

And yes, I will be buying Prime 3. I'd buy the Revolution for Prime 3 alone just because it's such a great series. And as it is the concluding game, I'm eager to see what the plot of it is, and Samus's new enemies.

I loved MP1, still working on MP2 (got it about a month ago).

These game are fecking sweet. Graphics, story, gameplay, enemies... I could go on.

The Meta Ridley battle was by far my favorite part. Fighting it for the first time, I felt like I was really there in that Phazon Suit.

Metroid Prime is a very enjoyable game that i bought roughly about 3 months or so after i got my gamecube. The fact that if you know how, you can actually get certain items before they were intended to be gotten(sequence breaking anyone?). Also, the fact that you are alone on this planet trying to uncover the mysteries of what exactly this odd blueish stuff(called phazon), is and trying to figure out what caused the chozo race to blank out of existance. If you were really into metroid, then this game is for you.

I dont have a link to it, but for those of you who want to see some wicked stuff for this game and who happen to own a non-players choice version of this game, may i suggest this website: www.metroid2002.com. There you got just about every strategy possible for bosses and other and they're all in video format, a bonus!

For Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, you technically didnt really do that much, but if you didnt mind heavily backtracking through mazes then you probably liked it an awful lot(i beat both 1 and 2, though number 2 takes some getting used to).

All in all, yeah ive played these games beaten and checked out much information on both. Go me.

Metroid Prime is my favorite game of all time, period. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is one of my favorite Gamecube-games, but I didn't like it as much as Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime was an incredibly atmospheric experience, while Metroid Prime 2: Echoes was a bit disappointing in that aspect.

Metroid Prime drew me in SO much, I really felt like I was there. That game is really incredible.

MP2 had a better story. MP had better gameplay. There are even. I found an interesting fact today, (Meta?) Kraid was planning to be in MP but they took him out. They got a good picture before he left. I might show it later or tomorrow.

No Hunters discussion? C'mon people!

March 20th I am heading to the store to pick up a copy of Metroid Prime Hunters for my DS. Who's with me? This game is gonna be awesome. metroidhunters.com for info and little short movies! The videos look extremely good for the DS.

I will too own Hunters when it comes out. I think this game will make the DS the best portable ever.(even though it already is) I just recently beat MP2 Echoes. Took me about 2 years to beat but It only took me that long because I was trying to get all of the items.

And was supposed to be in the Phazon Mines as well there is those bluish phazon mushrooms in the room, and some phazon itself. If I remember correctly Kraid helps for Space pirates but not like Ridley as he's the leader of them. (Or Mother Brain.)

^Got it slighty wrong. Kraid is a high leader, so really the Space Pirates work with him. Ridley is indeed their leader. Mother Brain is seperate from Space Pirtates since she was dead by the time Metroid came around where Space Pirates owned the Metroids. So you got the general idea though

Metroid...
One of Nintendo's best games. If you asked me i like echoes better because i've always been one for newer additions. Not that Prime is lacking anything, but thats just me. I was kinda dissappointed with the hunter demo's control scheme but its nothing i can't get used too. I'm also hoping that hunter's multiplayer isin't as much as a let down as echoes. Well oh crap... its almost 6:30 (Pacific time) so i gotta go. I hope to see more talk in this topic. See ya.

All I can say is, I love Ridley.

He is by far my favourite boss. IMO, he's harder than Prime.

I will never, ever forget the epic battle I had with Meta Ridley on my Hard mode low percent run.

Dear Gods, that was the greatest battle I've ever had. I still haven't beaten MP on that profile, and not cause I can't: Cause I want to be able to battle Ridley whenever I want.

I don't care whether you think he was easy, he just totally kicks *** IMO. His fly-by's while bombing you, he's Kinetic Breath weapon, and of course, the dreaded Grounded Phase.

He is just way too cool for words.
