Mew Event ( Glagow ) Is A Shame!!!!

I'm Very Dissapointed With The Glasgow Event. You Couldnt Download Mew Due To Techinical Difficulties. They Didnt Test The Connections Before. People From Aberdeen ( Which Was About 150-200 Miles Away ) Came And Found Out They Couldnt Get Mew! Im Going To Complain To Nintendo And I Am Expecting Them To Do Something About It. The Goodie Bags Were Rubbish Aswell...
P.S They Only Brung 1 Link Cable! I Personally Think That Was The Problem.

they should have been more organised- it was a total waste of time for everyone. 1 guy in the queue in front of me said that the same thing happened at 1 of the events he's been to before this 1- you'd think nintendo would learn from their mistakes! and i agree with chorusco- the goodie bags were rubbish, i didn't even get a keyring or the little figure or whatever it was 'cause they run out before i went to get a bag. all i got was stickers and a poster. not happy!

They Took Your Email For A Que Jump. Say If You Went Away Then When You Came Back They Fixed It And There Was A Long Que. If You Confirmed Your Email Adress You Would Go Get Mew First.
They Might Send Us Info Aswell...

Wow, definately not cool. Trouble is, this may put people off going to events in the future to obtain Shaymin or Arceus. They'd better sort their acts out before then, and one link cable? I can see three now, and I'm far from working for Nintendo. They could've borrowed mine.

I went to the event and I was further away from Aberdeen. Cost £62 overall. I was disapointed that I couldn't get Mew but I did get the chance to battle with my new eevee team, no one has the game in Macduff battling others is a big deal for me. xD

I didnt know it was their link cable that wasn't working. =/ I agree, nintendo should have brought spares.

I have sent my games to Nintendo in 3 seperate occasions for various rare pokemon (the last one I got was Deoxy's) and each time, I was happy with the service I got. They do take care of your things. If you are worried though maybe put all your pokemon except 1 onto pokemon box (if you have it) before posting it. I was at the Glasgow event, and it was me who mentioned to the organisers that this was the common procedure for event pokemon in UK,so thats probably how the rumour started (although I find it likely that this will be the case, with Nintendo emailing you the address to post the game too).

^ yeah, that's all it is people! i was really surprised when i got there and there was nothing but a tent and a little sign that said what it was for. nothing particularly special or amazing or anything. you would've thought nintendo and toys r us would have made a bit bigger deal of it.
