I didn't read all the threads that might have it, so sorry if it's been answered but...

What's the deal with Mew in Emerald?

Can you actually get him how it says on Serebii.net and if so without cheating or doing anything at Nintendo events?

What I'm basically asking is will ever be able to get Mew in Emerald by just progressing?

Read the stickies. You have to go to a Nintendo event to get Mew, and there hasn't been one in the US to get it yet.

Not possible without cheating or Events sorry.........I want mew for the Pokedex but I can't go to an event. As I've replied many times to threads, I despise cheating!

It's about the island's progression not how to get Mew through progress in-game only.
