Mewtwo's Destruction: Fight Legend with Legend. [PG-13]

Razor Shiftry

Cynthia = Porn Star
Hey guys, its been a while since I've been round here parts but I thought I might ressurect an old RPG I made on here god...about 6 years ago now. I wonder if anyone remembers me? anyways, take a read. I hope you enjoy and take part!

[This RPG shall be PG-13 due to potential various things of Gore, Sex, Horror etc]

The world is at war. Not the war you think of, with armies and the like, but a secret one. Civilians know nothing about it; just the people at the top, the leaders of the most powerful nations on the Earth, and certain high clearance personnel. The Great Eight they are called. And they were at a loss at what to do. For the first time in human history, they were silent at their annual meeting, no arguments, no bickering, no taunting and threats resulting in stand offs. They knew how much trouble they were, all because of their ignorance to one person.

Everyone wants power. Whether this comes from peace or war, it doesn’t matter, but they all want it. And with power, comes weapons. Pokémon-activists were becoming big in this day and age – Pokémon battling becoming more of a novelty. Making Pokémon fight one another was cruel they said, fighting for no reason except for sport. Its popularity was declining, and civilians were more incline to see them as pets, or as part of a task force.

But Pokémon are good weapons. They was no way these nations would pass out a law banning Pokémon battles, and if they did, they purposely made a loophole so that they could use them. With this intent, their governments would pour millions and billions of money into Pokémon research and breeding – making them more powerful, diverse, and adaptable; creating new items for them to utilize. The United States created the first “virtual” Pokémon, capable of its own thoughts and feelings and emotions – Porygon. That was merely 7 years ago. Since then, there have been two updates that can make it even more powerful and they’re constantly trying to make the latest version, Porygon-Z even better. Over the last decade, technology has allowed for the calculations of Pokémon’s power, using a mathematical formula which would give out readings telling all the ‘stats’ of certain Pokémon.

But these Pokémon that scientists and governments discovered, experimented and explored were never supremely powerful except for a very select few. Metagross, a part machine, part Pokémon classed under the steel type and known for its superb mathematical mind and deadly attacking powers with its psychic mind and metallic structure. Tyranitar, one of the more dangerous Pokémon known to man, its powers has been observed from afar being able to crush whole mountains in remote places in the Himalayas and East Asia under its wrath. Heatran, a curious creature said to inhabit viscous magmatic volcanos all around the world, with recorded sightings in Mauna Loa, Etna, Ethiopia and even once in Mt Erebus in Antarctica.

Garchomp, Salamence, Dragonite and Hydreigon: Fearsome dragons, long lived and powerful to behold and these four in particular being incredibly rare to find. It is thought that there are fewer than 200 of each of these of dragon Pokémon in the whole world. Garchomp was last seen in the Moroccan Desert 2 years ago running at an incredible speed chasing after its prey. Salamence, thought to have been breeding in the Rocky Mountains of the United States although the last one to be captured there was nearly 15 years ago. However, there are numerous stories about the tracks they leave, their large footprints, scorched rocks and roars in the nights. Hydreigon, the brutal Pokémon. It is thought to reside in Eastern Europe and many incidents have been reported of their rage razing the landscape to naught. And then the most elusive of all, Dragonite, the kindly sea spirit some sailors call it, there to help out the needy out at sea, seemingly found all over the world if the stories are correct. You can never find them, although they can find you when you need them most.

There are several others which some claim are just myths, but are merely even rarer with many legends and stories following them; Cresselia and Darkrai, of the full moon and the new, bringers of sweet dreams and of Nightmares who’s stories are told all over Europe and West Asia. Landorus, worshipped deity of fertility in China and Japan who protected farmlands from his chaotic brothers. The trio of birds and dogs to name a few.

But stronger than these? Surely those are true myths…

…or so people thought.

50 years ago, there was a scientist from Russia who, as a child, grew up hearing stories of these legends. Pokémon so powerful they imbalanced the world’s weather, they could even warp reality itself. Then there was the Creator himself, Arceus. This wonder of hers turned into an obsession as she grew to become a world renowned scientist in genetics. She got it in her mind that they must be real, Pokémon were known to be incredibly powerful. Perhaps there were Pokémon who would change the world as they know it. The key was just finding a potential link to them. She travelled the world for nearly 20 years, but it was all in vain. That was, until she stumbled upon a ruined temple in the tropical rainforests of Central America. She had found some references about a mythical Pokémon that was said to have been the ancestor of every Pokémon in existence in a cathedral in Seville, Spain. An old tome that briefly described the Spanish conquistadors discovering a civilization that worshipped a Pokémon, a powerful ancient Pokémon like they’ve never seen. Of course, the conquistadors didn’t get it but it was all the false hope the scientist needed to hop on a plane to Nicaragua and continue her life’s work.

On that day, some unknown god must have looked down on her and pitying her, led her to strike gold. While examining the ruins of a remote temple, she had discovered a room full of carvings that were apparently sealed off. Inside nearly all were worn away so only the faintest traces were left from the decay of time. Everyone thought she was mad to explore these ruins which were surrounded by violent wild Pokémon but that didn’t matter to her any more for she found something that would shake science - an ancient strand of hair, preserved by the still, cool and musty air. It was her dream-come-true.

She went at once, telling the world of the discoveries in Central America of this new Pokémon she named legemytotysis mewralysotum ‘Mew’ as she called it. It wasn’t well received. Using the latest technology at the time which they were using the revive fossils of extinct Pokémon, they tried to clone this ancient Pokémon tissue but that only resulted in the Pokémon known as ‘Ditto’ with a curious ability to mimic any Pokémon completely. While a boom towards Pokémon breeding and earned her some fame at the time, it wasn’t the super-powerful legend she was looking for. After the creation of Ditto, cloning ceased from the ancient Pokémon hair.

This Russian scientist didn’t give up. She was going to create a Pokémon the world would never believe. Drawing on favours and taking out huge sums of money from Chinese banks and pleading with her native government to allow her to set up a lab using Japanese technology, she began toiling away at the next stage of her life north of the far eastern Russian city of Vladivostok. It was here, 15 years later, after hardly any success, that she finally cracked it, her whole life’s work in a test tube, living cells identical than what she found all those years ago, mixed together with other Pokémon to ensure its growth.

And it grew.

“Mewtwo” she called it. But it showed no sign of consciousness. It was just a body floating in an embryonic liquid, Its glass womb, dormant. Unmoving, for 5 years…

[Extract from the remants of a security yape in Dr Irena Tashamovitz’s Laboratory situated North of Vladivostok before the events of 27th January 2013…]

[7:13:52AM local time]
The camera shows a small grey-haired woman wearing a white laboratory coat standing in front of a cylindrical tank. She states at the Pokémon inside with a seemingly loving expression. Beyond her, various mechanical equipment and computers flash with little lights and one of the screens monitors the Pokémon. There is a little window on the far wall. It is snowing outside. The strange purple and grey feline-featured Pokémon floats lifeless in the tank, tubes attached to it in various places on its body deforming its shape slightly. The scientist walks forward 4 steps so that she is directly in front of the tank, her face reflected on the clear glass. She puts up her left hand to lightly touch the glass. A moment passes. Then suddenly her expressions changes to shock and she withdraws her hand from the glass sharply. After a few seconds, she nervously places her hand back on the glass. The Pokémon known as Mewtwo slowly opens its eyes. It stares at Dr Tashamovitz intently, its dark purple eyes and facial expression looking confused. It reaches out with its three-fingered hand to meet Dr Tashamovitz’s hand on the glass…

[The tape becomes static and unclear for 12 minutes and 23 seconds where the Vladivostok incident burned away some of the pictures before becoming reasonably clear again]

[7:26:15AM]
…Mewtwo begins to struggle inside its tank. Dr Tashamovitz looks worried and steps back. ‘Calm down!’ she appears to say in russian [there is no sound so video analysis and lip readers were used to work out what she says]. There is a moment of silence. Mewtwo struggles again and slams his fists into the tank glass. ‘It is for your own protection!’ says the scientist. She runs over t one of the machines and frankically begins tapping at the keyboard. Mewtwo begins beating repeatedly at the glass and cracks begin to appear. ‘I have down nothing to harm you, why are you doing this?’ Dr Tashamovitz has stopped typing orders into her computer and looks pleadingly at this cline. It stops hammering the glass, appearing to answer yes it makes no movement. ‘I created what wasn’t meant to be? What do you mean? I need to know! Why do you think I created you? Tell me Newtwo, p’. It is at this point the Pokémon known as Mewtwo seems to become angry at the use of his name and the glass tank shatters without him touching it. Dr Tashamovitz tries to run for the emergeny exit but an unknown force propels her into the far wall…

[The film becomes continuously unclear from this point on but everyone so often till the end of the tape, there is a clear 10 second or so picture]

[7:27:08AM]
…As the scientist lies still on the laboratory floor, Mewtwo steps out of his tank, dragging the tubes that attach him to the machines monitoring him. There are sparks everywhere as the liquid in the tank hits the electrical equipment…

[7:30:32AM]
…Dr Tashamovitz is held up against the wall by unseen powers. Mewtwo is holding its hand at her. She seems to say the word ‘psychic’. Mewtwo twists his hand. Dr Tashamovitz’s hands fly to her throat…

[7:32:48AM]
…the Doctor’s neck snaps under the pressure on her neck from ‘Mewtwo’. It lets her drop to the floor. Her dead eyes are open wide in Shock and bleeding. Her mouth is open and a bubble of blood escapes. Mewtwo rips out the wall with the small window with a little flick of his hand….
[7:38:16AM]
…Mewtwo has taken off all the tubes that were holding him to the machinery and computers. There is a pool of blood near him, which is most likely from Dr Tashamovitz’s broken body. He walks out of the hole into the snow outside…

End of the Tape]

[UK, BBC 6 o’clock news, 27th January 2013]

The silhouettes of a muddle ages woman and an old man sitting in armcharis behind a desk show up on the TV screen. The set lights up Both people look stern as the camera focuses on them.

‘Welcome to the 6 o’clock news. I’m Jenny Salome’ says the middle aged woman.

‘And I’m Andrew Lawrence’, says the younger man. Both new anchors smile slightly before the man turns to the woman who begins to speak.

‘Our top story tonight: At approximately 8:30 AM local time in the eastern Russian city of Vladivostok, a terrible accident has taken place. It is unclear at the moment but it early reports suggest a nuclear explosion to which the cause seems to have been a nuclear submarine.’

‘Although there are no confirmation’, the man, Andrew Lawrence continues, ‘it is estimated that approximately over 5 million people have died. Satellite images of the region are confirming this…’

The image on the screen changes to a satellite photo of the area. Where there was once the grey of buildings and cities and the freens of the evergreen forests, there was not nothing. It was barren, like a desert of emptiness...

[End of Clip]

[14:22:19, 12th March 2013, the G8 summit, Moscow, Russia]

In a private room in a secret location in Moscow, sealed off from prying eyes and ears, 8 men and women sat around a table with a large document in front of them. The room had a chill. They had been charged with reading it before attending and each person sat stock still, no one appearing to want to speak first.

A short man in his 40s stood up sharply and smashed his fist again the wooden table. ‘I say we hunt down this freak and hit him with everything we’ve got before he causes any more problems!’ he shouted angrily.

‘Sit down you crazy yankee’, said the tall smooth faced Canadian sternly without missing a beat. The most powerful man in the world glared at the leader of his country’s neightbour for a moment before obeying like a child would do for a teacher.

‘First and foremost, we have no idea where Mewtwo is. Perhaps then we can start bombing each other’, said one of the two women at the table, a normally quiet slight Japanese woman who’s eyes shore with bright intent.

‘I second that!’ said the second woman around the table, a short stout woman with a strong german accent. The American man scowled.
‘I’m glad that’s a start of a plan then at least’, said a heavily French voice heavy with sarcasm – the sharp-faced man who spoke glared at everyone else in the room.

‘Thanks for that useful input’, came the reply from the only natuve to the country there were in. The Russian was a big guy, bearded, tough and uncomfortable in the suit society made him wear to formal occasions. He shuffled some of the paperwork in front of him absentmindedly as one of the other Asians in the room, The Chinese man, cracked his knuckles with annoyance. The Russian liked him, and their country ties were close - that was well known by everyone. They were both military men after all which helped.

‘Well, brute force does not work’, said the Chinese man bluntly. ‘The cities of Harbin and Changchun are in ruins. Our army was not enough. He won’, he concluded. His tone of voice reverberated around the room with resonating anger and frustration and he looked like the next person who would cross him would be broken like the pen in his hand was about to be.

‘Couldn’t we just…umm, well, send some assassins after it?’ said the only other person who hasn’t be a response. His British Eton Accent was very clear and all eyes turned onto him at once, making him feel nervous and hot at one. ‘j-just a suggestion…’ he stammered.

‘…which leads on nicely to an idea we have which might just work’, said the Japanese woman. She smiled slightly as all eyes turnbed on to her. The Prime Minister of the UK looked relived. ‘You say, President Yrlaski, that this Pokémon caused the terrible incident in January has the same power as Pokémon of myths. So surely, the answer would be to, I think the phrase is, fight fire with fire? To find and even’, she paused for dramatic effect, ‘catch’ (The American’s eyes grew wide as would a little child staring into a sweet shop) ‘a mythical Pokémon to take down this creation of the recently deceased Dr Tashamovitz, then surely that would be the end of that?’ She smiled slightly as her fellow country leaders thought about proposal. The German woman looked at her and grinned.

‘I assume’, said the German as she leant forward onto the table, putting her hands together, her blue eyes twinkling and her mouth beginning to smirk, ‘that you have already worked out how to gain one of these mythical Pokémon and controlling it as well meine wenig schönheit?’

The Japanese woman smiled and from underneath the desk drew out 8 filmes. ‘this’, she said as she handed them out, ‘is what I have been working on these last couple of months non-stop since I heard about what really happened.’

The Frenchman flicked though the first couple of pages at an astonishing rate. ‘So you reall think this will work then? Collecting these…plates you call them?’

The Japanese woman didn’t look at him when she replied, merely stared off into space like she was recalling a dream. ‘Yes. Collecting all the different typed plates and bringing them together will summon what in the distant myths and far off legends from another dimension, the most powerful Pokémon of all.

Arceus the creator, God of all Pokémon’.

[End of Scene]

[4 weeks after the G8 summit, Tokyo, 21:03:51, the home of Kaede Terayoshima, PA of Japan’s head of military defence]

Keade sits in her armchair in her new apartment reading up a document her boss asked her to look up on, how to summon the creation Pokémon known as Arceus, creator and destroyer of all…

Suddenly she looks up. The door leading out to her balcony has suddenly flung open. Her eyes narrow with suspicion as she slow and quietly puts down the document and from insider her top, she draws out a small but deadly gun. Stealthily like a Persian she walks over to the balcony door and looks around, her gun ready. She sees nothing. She hears nothing but the sounds of the city below.

She retreats back to the apartment and closes the door and relaxes a bit, lowering the gun.

The bullet proof glass shatters inwards in a sudden cacophony and an invisible force sends Kaede sprawling over one of her sofas in her lounge. Her last image before he fall unconscious forever is that of a man with strange shaking arms and the Pokémon she was warned about…

Synopsis

This Pokémon RPG is set in the real world, where Pokémon exists alongside our normal animals and has the same technologies as the Pokémon world. I scientist has created Mewtwo, a clone of a Pokémon of myth that everyone idn’t know existed or not. But they didn’t realise the power that legends, or even a clone of a legend had. So a plot was hatched between the leaders of the 8 most powerful or influential countries in the world to stop Mewtwo in a complete desperation. There are many myths in the world, one of the being about the God of all Pokémon and that he went to sleep eons ago, locking himself away with 16 Keys, shard which have the power to dramatically increase the power of a certain type.

Each country sent out several operatives each seeking out any leads on where these plates could be, and you are one of these operatives. You could be anywhere in the world. You need to trawl through books and work with agents trying to piece together any clues that may lead to one of them. They could be anywhere, from someone’s necklace to a jewel in a mountain shrine to even a pebble on a beach (no not the latter that would be cruel). You are a secret agent. You have many resources and access to as many countries as you can get documents for. Remember, you must keep as low a profile as possible and keep civilian harm to a minimum.

Due to the incident in Japan, Mewtwo knows of the plan to stop him and somehow, Mewtwo also has agents working for him, so be warned. Danger is abound. Good luck.

Rules
Usual stuff really!

1) I will allow reservations but only with an adequate RP sample. I expect an RP should be AT LEAST half a page.
2) Everyone has three chances to submit a character.
3) No God-modding please.
4) Swearing is allowed, as long as its appropriate. Same with sexual content.
5) Please take the curtsey to read everyone’s posts in the RPG to make sure you know what’s going on or if you don’t have the time at least skim the posts. Nothing is more annoying than someone who didn’t read the other posts and have continued doing something that finished already.
6) Bunnying a character with the other’s permission please and thank you!
7) I repeat, make sure each RP is of a decent length (personally, I make sure each RP I do is at least 500 words)
8) Please type “Mewtwo’s destruction” at the end of your post to show me that you’ve read the rules.
9) Have fun! Let’s get huntin’!

Well-Known Member
Name: Gary "Scar" Sanderson

Gender: Male

Age: 27

Description: Dark brown hair, almost seeming black in the sun, enshrouds Gary's head. He likes to keep it short, never allowing it to grow past two inches long. His eyes coincide with his hair, being dark brown. Above his eyes lies his thin, also brown eyebrows. A pair of rounded black glasses rest on his small nose. Gary's lips can be considered rather small and the same can be said for his ears as well. Moving along, his tanned skin contains a scar etched into his upper right arm. His left contains a tattoo of his wife's name, elegantly written in script. Gary's non-muscular midsection remains rather plain, besides another scar stretching from his armpit region to the center of his stomach. Long legs accompany his person, making him stand tall at the height of 6'5". His legs, unlike the rest of his body, are muscular and strong from the years of hiking in the mountains. Following this lies his feet, which are an average shoe size of a twelve.

In the fashion department, Gary seems like your average guy. Plain white t-shirts, not sporting any pictures or words are often his choice of casual clothing. Accompanying this are a pair of dark blue jeans, with several pockets that he never uses. He tends not to wear anything too flashy besides an expensive watch with his name etched into it with gold. This however, is not Gary's true clothing when on his on duty. Then, he seems like a completely different being. He wears all black, from head to toe. A leather biker jacket with a Krookodile stitched on the back covers up his black t-shirt, exactly like his white ones, but differentiating in color. His choice of pants is a pair of black jeans, with various items attached to them. These items include his custom made Pokeballs, which are painted black with red X's on them. In addition is his rather plain looking phone, that is actually very high tech with several exclusive features. For shoes, he just slaps on a pair of black Nike's. The only other items worn are his black shades that also function as eyeglasses, and an earpiece used for communication.

Personality: Gary has a rather arrogant and cocky attitude. Always thinking he can win has often gotten him into trouble many times. Mouthing off, disobeying direct orders, and being reckless are just some of the major problems he has. However, there's no doubt that this guy has plenty of good qualities too, or else he'd be out of a job. He is a very persuasive person, and can often get others to do what he wants them too, either through making deals, or threatening to harm them. In addition, he tends to work better alone since he usually doesn't have any strategy whatsoever. The occasional mission when he is working with others often tend to be the hardest for him. Gary's unable to sit still and listen to a decisive plan, and instead charges right into the fight. However, if an ally is hurt he will turn into one of the most caring people you've ever met. He'll often try to act cool when someone gets hurt and not act like a protective mother, but his impulse gives in. Gary will rush over and cater to his friends rather than continue fighting the enemy. Under stress, Gary tends to remain calm and cool, always taking things like it's just a normal, everyday occurrence. Despite this, the second he starts being chased, he's out of there. Whether it be his flying away on a Pokémon or running on his muscular legs, he's gone. He absolutely hates being hunted and has deemed it as "The worst experience ever felt on the Earth."

History: Born in a small town in Northern New Jersey, Gary was a small and perhaps endangered child. His father was also an agent, so this often caused his mother to worry that one day she and her children would be attacked. The day that Gary was born, March 15, 1986, his father had not been heard from for months. Saddened, his mother thought about her husband each and every day and hoped he would return, but he never did. This was how Gary would grow up, without a father figure. He had to be the man of the house and take care of his mother. Due to this, he wanted to be homeschooled so that he did not trouble his mother to drive him. Life continued like this until Gary had graduated high school. By now he had a job at the local pizzeria and a girlfriend name Caleigh. However, one night he was returning home from work when he was suddenly attacked while trying to enter his home. The face of a man he had seen before came close to his as he heard the words "Time to die." whispered behind him. Pictures of everything flashed before him and he remembered the man. It was the rogue agent his father had been sent to kill many years ago. Before any other thoughts could occur, a chain with a scythe attached shot at him from behind, grabbing his body and slicing it open from his stomach to his arm. Gary screamed in pain and clutched his stomach. The man in front of his charged at him, attempting to stab the young Gary. He tried to dodge, but the knife struck his right are, creating a large gash. By this time, Gary's mother had heard the commotion and came outside, a small pistol in hand. She noticed the man behind her son and shot the gun, killing him. However, as this happened the man in front leaped at Gary's mother, slashing her with the knife. Gary, full of rage and hatred, grappled onto the man with his left arm and pushed him to the ground. He smashed his head into the pavement and continually kicked him until he was sure that the predator was dead. At this point, Gary's neighbors had come outside to see about the ruckus and the police arrived shortly after. Gary and his mother were both sent to the hospital and made a full recovery. It was because of this day that Gary became an agent, so that he could stop the rogues and the evil beings in this world. Following the next several years, Gary and his girlfriend went missing. The time that they were gone is the time in which they both enlisted to become agents. This time is also the period in which Gary stayed at the U.S. Agent HQ. Upon receiving a loan form the organization, he moved to Michigan near the Great Lakes. There, he opened a bait and tackle shop to be his fake job, while actually being a secret agent. This is currently where he resides and leaves the shop in control of his fathers lifelong friend when he is on missions.

Other: Gary's skills consist of being able to run extremely fast. However, his main fear is swimming in any body of water that contains fish.

Pokémon Species: Krookodile
Gender: Male
Nickname: Clint
Description: Clint is slightly larger than your average Krookodile and weighs slightly more as well. He too has scars, but they are across his face. The spikes on his tail are also slightly torn and are thus his weak spot. (Sorry if the stuff in this section is short. I will go back and edit it if you want.)
Personality: Clint's personality is almost the exact same as Gary's. He's reckless, doesn't work well with others, and breaks the rules. Perhaps he's like this from being around Gary all these years. Clint enjoys fighting though, but often takes sparring matches too far. When forced to work with others, he tends to just ignore them and do his own thing, despite having lost several times do to lack of teamwork.
History: Gary obtained Clint when he was only six years old. He found the poor Sandile at a beach on vacation. It was being attacked by a flock of Staravia that assumed it was dead. Gary rescued it and his mother thought that owning a Pokémon would be good for him. Gary did not train it very much, but instead played with it. However, after he was attacked he began training Clint and evolved it into a Krokorok. Then, when he left to become an agent, he took Clint with him. During his time there, he trained against other agents and Clint evolved once more into Krookodile.

Other: N/A

RP Sample: Will be coming soon. It's late where I am so I will type it up tomorrow.

Mewtwo's Destruction. Also can I add more Pokémon tomorrow since it's late?
