Plot
In the not too distant past on a planet many light years away a fierce battle raged. Two warlords, Thresh of the Stone and Spectre of the Ethereal, had been locked in battle for over two decades, fighting over dominance of their planet. Eventually Thresh managed to get the upper hand, doing away with Spectre’s top commanders and it looked like he was going to win the battle. That is until Spectre made a deal with an evil entity, giving him more power than he had ever dreamed of at the expense of allowing it to inhabit his body. Using his new found power, Spectre was able to easily dispose of Thresh’s armies and soon only Thresh himself remained.
Now being hunted by his much more powerful brother, Thresh was becoming increasingly more and more desperate. Each time he evaded his brother’s attempts on his life, Thresh was convinced that it would be the last time that he would do so. He learned of an old legend that told of great powers that were hidden deep within the planet, foretold to be able to defeat the entity that was the source of Spectre’s powers. With no other options available, Thresh went where no one else had ever gone before. Though it was hard and arduous, Thresh was able to find the great powers. However, he soon found that he wasn’t able to harness those powers.
Rather than stay on the planet, Thresh had no choice but to leave it, taking to the stars to try and find a way that he could harness the great powers and defeat his brother. Unfortunately due to the hasty nature of his escape, Thresh’s spaceship wasn’t in the greatest of condition, and soon after launch it began to malfunction. With nothing else that he could do, Thresh put himself into a cryogenic sleep and hoped for the best. Breaking down, the ship turned off all of its power, except for the cryogenic sleep, and eventually started falling to Earth, where it crashed, the impact of the ship driving it far into the ground, hidden from view. Awakened from the crash and realising that he may have found a way to stay off Spectre’s radar, Thresh started working on harnessing the great powers.
Flashforward to now, after many years of tinkering, Thresh has finally cracked the secret to the great powers. And just in time too. While Thresh had been hidden, Spectre had been searching for his brother, certain that he was still alive and still in possession of the great powers. Having searched and destroyed yet another planet with no sign of Thresh, Spectre had set his sights on another planet... Earth! Alerted to the fact that Spectre was moving towards Earth, Thresh decided that it was time for him to finally fight back, using a refined form of the great powers.
However there was one slight problem with his plan, Thresh himself still wasn’t able to harness the great powers, even in their refined form. Leaving him with no other choice, he needed to rely on Earthlings to help defeat Spectre once and for all. Which is where you come in.
Your Role:
You are one of the Earthling that has been chosen to help Thresh fight Spectre. Since this is an RPG and not the actual TV show, each ranger's Zord will have a fighting mode so we aren't just reliant on the Megazord. As this is a pokemon RPG each ranger will have their own team of pokemon ranging from 2-5 pokemon. These pokemon must follow a colour theme (As long as the pokemon is predominately the colour you have chosen it should be all good) and will be the basis for your zords. One of the pokemon will also be the basis for your suit and weapon. Because I am a genwunner when it comes to Power Rangers, the suits will be modelled after the original MMPR suits, with the helmets being different depending on the pokemon. If your character is a girl, feel free to have a skirt or not.

Weapon: Wigglytuff Lance - A lance with prongs shaped like Wigglytuff’s ears.
Description: Samuel looks like a good old fashioned country boy. He has broad shoulders, thick arms and legs from days of helping his parents out on the farm, as well as a pretty good tan. He has a little bit of pudge around his stomach, but its not too noticeable, it just blends in with his overall largeness. His hair is light blond, almost fair and shaggy looking, and hangs down around his neck. He has a chiseled jaw, and a sorta boxy head. Samuel’s eyes are dark blue, and his left eye opens slightly wider than his right and his eyebrows are big and a little darker than his hair. His nose is big and crooked, he broke it when he was younger and it just never set properly. His ears stick out a bit, and are a bit big.
Befitting the pink ranger, Samuel tends to wear pinks. His shirts tend to be light pink, while his shorts are on the dark pink side. His normal attire is a white undershirt, an open light pink and white check shirt and pair of dark pink shorts, finished up with white volleys. Samuel’s helmet is modeled after Wigglytuff, a small bump above his visor like that of Wigglypuff’s cowlick, a pair of little black eyes just underneath the cowlick and a pair of ears sticking out of the top of the helmet. An exaggerated mouth makes up the visor of the helmet.
Personality: There are two things that sum up Samuel, his optimism and his drive to make everyone become his friend. Samuel is quite an optimist, believing that nothing can go wrong, nothing can end badly, nothing will end badly. No matter the situation, Samuel believes that things will turn out for the better by the end of it, that things can't possibly go that badly as long as everyone keeps their hopes up and makes sure to believe.
He has a strong drive to make everyone he meets his friend, a sort of side effect of not having that many friends as a kid. Linked to his optimism, Samuel believes that there is good in everybody and that he can bring out that good by becoming their friend. Even if there is no way that someone would become his friend, Samuel won’t stop his almost neverending pursuit to make them his friend. That being said, the moment one of his friends is threatened, Samuel will do his best to protect his friends.
He also isn't that smart, something that becomes evident quite quickly upon meeting him. Samuel pretty much believes anything anyone tells him, really it only takes very little for him to believe what people say, a fault that has been exploited in the past.
History: Samuel was born in Johto, just outside of Mahogany Town. As soon as he was able to, Samuel helped out on the family farm, even if all he could do was grab a handful of feed to throw to the animals. Working on a farm was most of his life, so much so that when he would be finished school, conveniently located just in Mahogany, he would have to come straight home after to help with the work. Essentially it took up the majority of Samuel’s time, and heavily cut into his ability to socialise with other. As a result Samuel didn’t have that many friends growing up, and at the time he didn’t really think much of it. It was way more important to him to help his parents out after all. And that was Samuel’s life for a good 17 years.
On his 17th birthday, Samuel came home to find his parents waiting for him, a fully stocked backpack sitting on the table along with a PokeBall. His parents had decided that Samuel had spent too much time working on the farm, that it was time for him to go out and actually enjoy his life. After his parents assured him that he wasn’t being kicked out of him, Samuel eventually left with his brand new starter, Puff the Igglybuff, to start his own Trainer journey.
Not that interested in actually taking part in the gym challenges, Samuel instead decided to travel around the world, going from region to region. Slowly but surely his team began to grow with every adventure, whether it be a new mon joined or he was able to evolve one of them. In fact, Samuel didn’t think he was ever going to be as proud as the day Puff evolved into a Wigglytuff. Eventually Samuel became bored of the travelling life style, he was starting to think that he wanted more in life. And so with that he was glad to say that his adventuring life was over. He was on his way home when his life changed forever.
