i know i am in a wrong thread,but please help me!i insert the firered game into the game pak and i allready finised the game and defeated the elite four..then i went to the pal park and save there.went i on back my pokemon diamond menu it doesnt wrote migrate pokemon...did i do anything wrong??

Did you see Professor Oak yet? You need to complete your Sinnoh Pokedex (see every Pokemon native to Sinnoh at least once).

So you went into Pal Park, talked to Professor Oak, he told you he would be in Eterna City, and then he left?
In that case, Pal Park should be open for you.

yes i done that allready....went i go to the menu screen it doesnt wrote migrate pokemon or pal park...

When you turn your game off and then back on, you should see an option under "New Game" that states, "Migrate from Pokemon {whatever version}".

I hear it is region locked though. So if you are using a cartridge from Japan or another foreign country, that could be the reason it isn't working.

If they are both from the same location then it should be ok.

I'd recommend contacting Nintendo directly about this problem. Be as specific as possible about your games and your DS. If it is a conflict of hardware, they should be able to let you know how to fix it.

In order to migrate a specific pokemon, you must first remove any HM move it may know. But that shouldn't stop you from migrating period.

It sounds to me like your DS isn't reading the FireRed game correctly. When you turn on the DS, does it give you the option of playing FireRed?

If so, then check your Diamond menu screen again and see if you just need to scroll down a little in order to see the "Migrate" option. If it still doesn't give you the option, then I would have to assume there is something wrong with your FireRed. Either the region is wrong or it has been hacked at some point (that has been known to cause problems with Pal Park).

If possible, try another Pokemon game outside of your FireRed.

there is nothing wrong with my firered.... i get a LEGIT mew from toys r us in us when i was there before....maybe the mew is the problem?

Perhaps your DP game is fake? Or maybe that requires blowing on? :\

One pokemon knowing a HM won't cause a problem. If it has a HM, when when you do try to press it it will say it can't be transferred because it has a HM, but won't prevent the Migrate option from popping up.

Maybe your game is damaged. That would also cause problems.
