Okay, Mikaruge is one of my favorites, and is going to be a permanent part of my team, so can you help me decide on some posible movesets to aim for?

Dark Pulse
Pain Split
Shadow-Ball
Toxic!
This is my moveset and it works.
I don't understand why you want Pain Split on a sweeper Dragontar911. Leave that to Dusclops. The first Moveset is better.
Pain Split is for recovery.-_-
And if your doing a Taunt set, Ambush is better.

It works, sure. But it could use some help.
First of all, replace Pain Split with Scheme. How can you have a Special Sweeper without Scheme? And what would you do with Toxic? Poison them so they can switch out? Leave Toxic to Umbreon. DPs metagame is offence-based, unlike the 3rd gen, where it was all about stalling. That's why SkarmBliss is dead now. Replace it with some other Special Attack. Try Psychic, or maybe even Water Pulse.
hhhmmmmm...
dark pulse
psychic
shadow-ball
shceme
or
dark pulse
painsplit
scheme
shadow-ball
This will be the moveset i use...
Mikurage
'Pressure' : Opponent uses 2 PP instead of 1 per move.
Nature : +(Def / Sdf) / -(Sat / Spd)
* Ambush
* Taunt
* Will-o-Wisp
* Pain Split
He should be used as a specialized killer coming in on a <Schemer / Dragon Dancer / Sword Dancer / etc.> and Taunt them into a Pain Split war and finish with an Ambush.

* I'd use Careful:<+Sdf / -Sat> as a nature since Will-o-Wisp can take the edge off of Physical Attacks. I'd also like to point out this guy is definitely gonna be part of my first Pearl team as he is very cool. He's everything Sableye should've been but wasn't. Good Taste.

I'm more defensive minded to start with but if you want to make him a sweeper you can go that route too. I just don't think that his stats indicate he's more effective that way.
But just for the record when the <Def / Sdf> is about 2x as big as the <HP> then Pain Split is hella effective. Especially on a poke with 0 weaknesses.
