Mini-movies with the films?

No, starting with Movie 7 (Destiny Deoxys) the movies are 20 minutes longer with no mini movie. However, a japanese airline has been showing new Pikachu Shorts every August after a new movie.

Their was Pikachu's Summer Festival, Pikachu's Ghost Carnival, and for the new movie their will be Pikachu's Michievous Island.

I don't mean to be cruel or heartless but I never liked those Pika shorts. The first one was cute, but the newer ones got more anoying with the "Pika Pika" and the "squuuiiiiiirrrrrrrrrttttttllllleee" and how they didn't even put subtitles for you. Pikachu's got enough fame to spare. Personaly, I'm not a big fan of cutesy Pokemon.

Alright!
I agree. The first Pikachu short was cute and I could understand the story. But now they're just bothersome and harder to grasp what's going on. Pikachu served little purpose in the video game yet it's the mascot of Pokemon, what more could it ask for?

in the Japanese version, a narrator translated their dialogue. It's the same for those ANA Flights shorts.

Aww... Crap.
Honestly, I'd much rather have a longer movie than some random short. Movie 4's was okay though, as was 3's, but other than those, they kinda sucked.
