Minun and Plusle, a good idea?

So, on Pokemon Ruby I decided that I want to train and use Minun and Plusle in my team. I was wondering what others thought of it? My Plusle seems to be really good and it's defense is fine. I forgot which hold item it has, but it powers up special attacks so it makes moves like Thunder and Spark really strong.

So what do you think?

(Movesets so far)
Plusle - Level 30
- Thunder
- Return
- Spark
- Quick Attack

Minun - Only level 14 for now
- Thunder
- Quick Attack
- Return
- Helping Hand

Hmmm...
Their stats seem good. (With the Spc. Attk) But I'm not a huge fan of Plusle and Minun, only because in general they're not very strong. (One of the reasons for that could be that they don't evolve. Evolving make Pokemon stronger.) I've defeated them with Water type pokemon they're same level. But, if you keep adding to their stats, they good come out on top. ^^

PS; (What does Helping Hand do anyway? XD)

Helping hand..in like double battles, I think it raises the power of Minun/Plusle and/or their partner.

Lol. I havent used it much myself. But yeah, I'm still trying to decide who to use in my party. I really love my Azumarill so I think that'll fill a spot too. And if I ever catch that darn Latios -.- I'll add that too. His health is down to a thin drop, and I still cant catch him.

Yeah, I think they learn Thunderbolt later on. So I'll let them learn that as well.

And I really want to use them lol, I dont know why, I just do. If not them, I'd use my Delcatty, whose moves are basically all electric and is level 52.

Plusle and Minun are fine if you raise them well enough, make them work well together, and are used only in-game. But their main purpose was simply to act as mascots, in my opinion. And I think that's what they do best. I think they're adorable.

Teach one of them Rain Dance - Rain Dance aids Thunder, making it so that Thunder never misses, unless the opponent's evasivness is high.
Latios would be a good addition. ^^ To make it easier to catch, train a Golbat to atleast Lv. 42 so that it learns Mean Look, and focus on it's speed. Then, Latios won't be able to escape. Then you can just chuck Ultra Balls at it. XD (I wouldn't waste your Master Ball on it... My cousin did that and it was a big mistake. D

I would say use the master ball on the Latios..
The other legendaries are easier to catch and track down.

I caught my Latias with a Ultra Ball, as well as Groudon and Kyogre... As for Rayquaza... Great Ball. XDDDD I still have my Master Ball. I never had a reason to use it...

Lol, I've been doing all of that. It's even on the last little bit of health, but the ultra balls arent working. Sigh...it's really a bother. Then I have to keep going in and out of houses until he's in my area again. It's a long process.

How could it be escaping if you use Mean Look? That's just weird. o_o;
Then try Great Balls. This may make me sound crazy, but in some of my experiences, Great Balls have given me better results than Ultra Balls. I caught Rayquaza with one. XD

XD sorry if I said that Latios escapes. He doesnt, he just kills Golbat so easily after I use the mean look, and when i switch to a different pokemon, he fleds. So yeah, its hard ;.;

And yes, Great balls have worked better than ultra balls for me too lol its really strange, indeed.

If you want to keep your Master Ball, I would suggest training Golbat to a really good level. (Just go through the Elite Four a few times with Exp. Share attached.) OR, which I find really great, if you have XD and a link for GBA -> GCN, then train it on Mt. Battle. I train all of my Pokemon on my XD game - it takes me ten minutes to grow 30 lv.s, since it has boosted exp. along with Exp. Share attached. ^^

I used my masterball on Groudon I guess my only choice IS to raise Golbat's level, or cause status change on Latios like paralyzation or putting him to sleep. If I think this is annoying, I dont know how I'm going to deal with trying to get Feebas.

might wan't to go with puting latios to sleep. because I used my masterball on groudon too I had to catch latios with other types of Pokeballs and I too tried to paralyze it but it used refresh and healed its self. Also try using Wobbuffet because it abillity Shadow tag prevents foes from fleeing.

Finally! Someone explained to me WHY to use Wobbuffet lol. The problem is, though, if I try putting Latios to sleep I'll most likely need a fast pokemon, that will be faster than Latios. Maybe Pikachu could work (using thunderwave)

You could always use Umbreon... They learn Mean Look at Lv. 40 something. Plus - they're Dark type. Latios has nothing on it. D: Heheh. XD

I know right XD

And I cant get Umbreon ;.; I'd go into explaining but I'm semi-depressed lol.
