what's with Mirage Island it never appears. Anyone know how to make it appear?

Mirage island has a number. That number changes every day in the game. each pokemon is assigned a number. it doesn't change, and it doesn't depend on anything. If one of your pokemon has a number that matches Mirage island's number, it will appear. talk to the guy in the South east corner of Pacifidlog, and he will tell you if you can go to it. It's really rare though.
