yo peps i have one qustion....... how da heck do u get to mirage island?!?! i ask the guy but he always says that he cant see it today! do u ave a time or sumin? plz write bk!

it depends on a specific dynamic value, if that matches the one wich is set to mirage island, you can get there. the number changes every day

It depends on the Secret Number your Pokemon has. It is a hidden number so you can't tell when Mirage Island will appear.

It's pretty simple one of your party pokemon ID number has to match the number of mirage island which changes everyday.To make it easier start again
on a another game do this 50 times to get different ID numbers and increase your chances. which are 1 in 65,000, however i have been there that's the way you get there. I finally got a Leichi berry,so good luck and be patient

You can go through the entire game without finding mirage island. I think it's rarer than a shiny...

If you have the patience, you can soft-reset to make Mirage Island appear, just like soft-resetting for the Lilycove Department Store. Get a team of six Pokemon, one of which knows Surf, and save your game in front of the old man in Pacifidlog Town. Don't turn on your game again until the following day (wait until you're done playing the game for the day before your save) and then talk to the man. If he sees Mirage Island, you're good to go. If he doesn't see it, soft-reset and try again. The number will continue to be randomized every time you reset your game until you save, at which point you will need to wait another day before you try again. The odds of Mirage Island appearing when you have a full party are about 1 in 10,923. So, you may have to reset a lot before it shows up.

Its all luck, every pokemon gets a number everyday and if you have the right one on you, it appears or something, nothing great.

I don't know at all, Serebii.net's main mirage island page says it has something to do with ID numbers and if an ID number of your pokemon matches Mirage Island's, you can see it, but in the DV page it says under 'gender values' that you can see mirage island if your pokemon has a gender value of 0. Does anyone know which one's true?

Mirage Island's appearance is NOT based on the Gender Value of an of your Pokemon. A random number is selected every day for Mirage Island, similar to the Lilycove Department Store Lottery. The difference is that, while the Lottery uses the Trainer ID to match a Pokemon, Mirage Island uses a hidden value of the Pokemon. This value is set for each Pokemon when you receive it, just like its IVs, and does not change through the Pokemon's life.
