Mirage Island

Has anybody here been to mirage island WITHOUT CHEATING?? Because nearly 700 hours are registered on my Emerald version and I still haven't been there. Sorry if this thread already exists.

I had Emerald for 3 hours before I made it to Mirage Island and noticed all that was there were Wynauts so I figured it useless and left without getting the Berry and at the time I didn't know it was random and I've never been able to get back:-(

I've never seen Mirage Island and I've played for around 216 hours.

never ever seen it. everyday, mirage island has a "number" that changes every day. All pokemon have a number, it's impossible to see. Every once in a forever, your pokemon has the same number as mirage island, and then it appears. but the pokemon wiht the matching number must be on your team to see it.

sapphire total hours: 200+
emerald: 250+

its like a daily lottery. if you have a pokemon in your party that matches the number then the island appears. you can take all the pokemon you own to the guy each day to check. if you can be bothered.

actually there's a thread in the 3rd generation general discussion or FAQ thread or somewhere that says if you go and talk to him for the first time during that day in-game, and he says he can't see it, you can simply reset it and try it again. i don't know how true it is, i've been too busy with breeding to worry about the liechi berry just yet, but i will tackle it eventually. but if you could do that, it would be a tremendous time saver, just restart everytime he says no. of course bring as many pokemon from different games as you can (if you have all the games you can have 6 diff IDs at one time, or if you have two and you've restarted one or both of the games to get different IDs, or just trading with friends)

Haha, that's awesome. I got curious once and used a gameshark to get there on my haxed copy of Ruby. Besides that, I have over a thosand hours together on R/S/andE and have never seen it.

No mirage island. I can't be bothered to go their really.
