Who here has made it to Mirage Island? I went once, years ago, although I seemed to have lost the Liechi Berry I picked up there somewhere along the way.

I've never been to Mirage Island before, but I managed to get a Liechi Berry via trade, so I didn't miss much. I have no use for the Wynaut there anyway, so I don't care much for Mirage Island. I only know one person who went there, but they didn't seem to care much for the place either :x

I never made it there ever. I gave up a long time ago, but I still want to get there just to get there.

Never. In my 500 hours of playing pokemon ruby, 300 hundred emerald, 178 sapphire... never :(

I never made it to Mirage Island. I think the appeal of the Island is not in what you can actually get there - catch Wynaut and get a Lichei (sp?) berry - but in the thrill of saying you went there.

I never bothered to. Liechi Berry is okay, but that's all the island really promises. It's more of something you'd do when you're really bored.

I've been to Mirage island before.
It's not all that exciting, actually.
(I got a bigger thrill uncovering Regirock, Regice, and Registeel without any help.)
The island is full of Wynauts and its only redeeming factor is the lone Liechi Berry.

the happiness of the mirage island is exiting . it was really fun. went to the old dude and he said blah blah island then i went to it :D liechi berry was pretty good

Yeah, the appeal of Mirage Island is the thrill of actually finding it. I remember when people would make a big deal about Mirage Island, but in the end, there isn't anything there that's too important. Maybe the Liechi Berry is worth something, but I can't even plant berries in my Sapphire version anymore, so the Liechi Berry is pretty much useless to me in that game.

This should explain it:

Mirage Island is found on Route 130 in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. However, it can only be visited under highly rare circumstances. Every day, a random number between 0 and 65535 in hex (that is between 0x0000 and 0xFFFF) is generated by the game. If this number matches the last two bytes of the personality value of any of the Pokémon in the party in hex, Mirage Island will appear for that day. The number is generated at 0:00 hours every day and it is active 24 hours. Even though play time has nothing to do with the real time clock, a game that has reached the maximum time of play (999 hours and 59 minutes) will not generate Mirage Island numbers anymore. Whenever a Mirage Island number is generated, it will not change within the time it is valid, and the player is able to freely move Pokémon from the boxes to the party or vice-versa until the Pokémon that has the same personality value as the island appears. This makes Mirage Island's appearance even rarer than encountering a Shiny Pokémon, although the probability of making it appear increases with the number of Pokémon the player has.

A man in Pacifidlog Town will tell the player whether or not he can see Mirage Island each and every day.

The island is inhabited by Wynaut which range from level 5 to level 50. It also bears a tree where one Liechi Berry can be picked. This is the best berry for Pokéblocks, and will produce Gold Pokéblocks.

Basically, it's an island that appears very infrequently in R/S/E.

Ive been there twice, once on Emerald and the other time on Ruby. Like everyone has already stated, it wasn't that great.
But hell a lvl 50 wynaut was awesome to just find, aswell as the thrill of being there x3.

still haven't used either of the leichi berrys to this day, or planted them o.o.

XD Been once on Sapphire Planted the Leichi's in the same place I picked them and never saw them again. TT.TT

I have never been there in Sapphire or Ruby or my corrupt Emerald, not that I have tried much! I mean, you don't get much there, just that you can catch Wynaut and get Leichi Berries, other than that, there is nothing, except that you can say that you were there, which, although is nice, I'm not going to try a lot just to say that, at least I haven't yet. I might try more to get there something!
