Misjudgements....

I know a lot of people have misjudged some Pokémon in some way. Whether it be evolution, power, etc. Explain here!

I remember I used to think Gligar was an evolution for Haunter!

I mean Gligar---Gengar!
I was really confused...

Yeah, I think the main reason for what was because Jessie had one, and we all know she had an Arbok...

Thought the legendary birds were T3h 00ber, but then I found out the hard way that they suck. When I first saw Raikou I didn't know about the dogs, so I assumed the cloud around its face was a bone and it was some sort of prehistoric pokemon. I absolutely freaked out, so much that I jammed my gameboy into the wall and the game froze. And then of course when I used a master ball on Skarmory, which I now hate, because I thought it was legendary

I used to think dunsparce SUCKED, until I got my butt handed to me by one in Pokemon Colloseum. -_-;;;

I also used to confuse the ralts line for grass types. :X

Yeah, so did I. But then I hatched an egg and got a seviper and I instantly knew I was very wrong.

I thought... Sudowoodo Evolved into Politoed (This was before the English names were released) ._.

I though Gligar was Golbat's evolution. (Same as above)

I thought torkoal was the evoulotion of maccargo and raikou was the evoloution of raichu. I Also thought a lot of pokemon names were pronounced different before seeing the episode with then. Example and thought bagon was pronouned Ba-gon not bay-gon

My misjudgement? I thought Sudowoodo evolved into Shiftry.

I though Fearow evolved into Ho-oh. I kick myself in the butt now but in Yellow, I trained Fearow to 100 and I was so mad when I realized it wasn't true.
